Simple “For You” with Vertical Greetings

Stampin Up, Vertical Greetings, Birthday Cards - Mary Fish, Stampinup

Plush and lush . . . these topiary tree images from the Stampin’ Up! Vertical Greetings Stamp Set are fun and fresh.

Inspiration photo from Ballard Designs
Ballard Designs Catalog

This project was inspired by a table setting in the Ballard Designs catalog. Stampin’ Up! designers are so on trend with colors and stamp sets.  This card was created by my Stampin’ Pretty Design Group.

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • I love Stampin’ Write Markers!  Stampin’ Up! ink pads and Stampin’ Write Markers were used to create the pots and topiaries.  Use markers to color directly to the rubber stamp for the different sizes (eliminating portions of the image).
  • Snip Snip!  Paper Snips helped create different topiaries out of just one stamp! Just move the paper  turning slowly and let your snips do the rest.
  • The Banners for You Stamp Set and coordinating Bunch of Banners Framelits produced the perfect sentiment. Purchase as a Bundle and save 10%!

  1. Mary –
Good evening! I love this card!
Can I ask you the measurements of the smaller mats you cut for this card with the stamped image on the front. I am already on your email list.
    Thank you,
    Jean

  2. Is the shadow from some remaining ink from when the entire stamp was inked, Judy?

  3. I love this topiary tree. I found that I couldn’t print the various sizes directly on the card. I got a shadow when I tried to stamp the shorter trees. I guess cutting and using dimensionals is the way to go. If somebody knows how to get rid of the extra shadows, I’d be Interested.

  4. How about red bows, Mari, either on the pot or on the trees? Might have a holiday vibe?

  5. I can’t tell you how much your comments mean to me. Thanks for taking the time to make me smile!

  6. Love your creations with the new verticals. I just got mine so thankfully I will use your ideas! Thank You! I also pinned it for others to see and future ideas for me!

  7. Another gorgeous card! I want you to know I don’t always comment on your cards but I love them all and get so much inspiration. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

  8. Love this card with the little blue bird on top of one of the topiaries. So clever. I am loving this set.

  9. Really cute card, Mary. I love how you masked the topiary to make the different sizes. Have a great day!

  10. Mary, just love seeing your stamping ideas in the morning. They always put a smile on my face. Have a great day!
