TAKE A SNEAK PEEK VIDEO TOUR WITH ME!  I was camera man, producer, narrator and more.  However, I hope that my juggling of those responsibilities doesn’t deter you from watching my self-managed (think “monkey cam”) video tour of the new products I pre-ordered from the Occasions Catalog and pre-earned from the Sale-A-Bration promotion (a free gift for every $50 in product).  Both begin Jan. 6.  Enjoy!

  • The little heart was popped out from the Hearts Border Punch.
  • Tipping the layers slightly adds a little “play” to the design.

  • I paper pieced a skinny bit of Soft Sky as a yummy layer of the cake.

  1. This was SOOOO helpful!! From learning about the new products, to how you organize your craft room! Once again, I get up in the morning and the first thing I do is to find your email and Brian’s to get the juices flowing!!! As usual,…. made my day!!! Except now I have more to do!!! 🙂

  2. Hi Nicole: I have the Mediume Tote, which is 8 1/4″ deep. http://www.stampnstorage.com/#a_aid=StampinPretty M

  3. Great video! What size stamp n storage do you use for your dies? I went to order and noticed they have different sizes. Can you tell me exactly what you have? Thank you. -Nicole

  4. Haven’t played with the mini treat bag die yet but will definitely be sharing samples!

  5. Thanks, Carol. I think you can choose wisely (versatility and simplicity) and don’t need everything. Honestly, I probably only have about half of the Occasions products. That is going to keep me very busy and content.

  6. What caught my eye…not sure if I want it but home you’ll do some previews of it is the treat bag (how big is it and what does it look like out of the framelit), and the chalk ink – I’ve never heard of it. Looking forward to it!

  7. Love your new items….have to say that my order is nothing compared to yours…but am excited to receive mine tomorrow! Thanks for sharing all of the items….love your videos! Pats to Boris and thank him for his help!

  8. Great Camera work Mary–loved the preview now cannot wait for the catalog to come out. Also loved the guest appearance of your cat–LOL

  9. Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed seeing what is on the horizon. And it was fun to see Boris at the end as well!

  10. You put wax paper between the die and the card stock when cutting. Helps ease out the bits and pieces!

  11. I tried coloring the acrylic stickers with my blendabilities since they DO work on pearls, diamonds and buttons. However, just some of the color stained the stickers. It’s a soft result. My project for Saturday uses the coordinating punches with them . . . so I prefer to layer the acrylic stickers over the coordinating punched shapes. A real wow factor. Say hello to YOUR Boris and Natasha. I have Sasha and Boris (Sasha, also a rescue, came before Boris was ever a consideration). They are our babies!

  12. Great video Mary. I could hear you perfectly! I have a question: Can you color the Acrylic Sticker Embellishments? I think they would look so pretty with color too!
Lovin’ all the new product; altho’, I don’t get my pre-order until tomorrow. Will be playing all weekend!!!
Kadie named my newly adopted black kittens – Boris and Natasha. They are Brother and Sister. They were sitting in my lap and when you said Boris; my Boris picked his head up and put his face to my computer screen. Too funny!
Thanks for sharing with us! You did a awesome job on capturing the new product on video!

  13. Actually, Boris is not terribly well mannered. Mischief should be his middle name. He’s a rescue. From the time he ended up at the humane society until now (about 7 months) he has doubled in weight. He was emaciated. and likely abused He wasn’t even socialized (terrified) when we first met him but we took a chance. It took 5 days to lure him out from under the bed. Playing classical music was our secret weapon along with treats. Most of his high strung behavior is due to the fact that we think he is pretty young (around a year). He is a very lovable guy and appreciates his new home and family (when his naughty streak isn’t kicking in).

  14. There are so many fun items that it makes it hard to choose one. The paper you shared first was very sweet, but I’m really anxious to try the paper stack with all the pinks, black, and reds.

  15. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this fabulous sneak peek tour. I can not wait to get my hot little hands on some of this products. Boris is very handsome and well mannered. My little Umami, mixed breed rescue fur baby, would have barked to announce her arrival into the room, lol.

  16. I have the same thing with Facebook. Some videos have sound, some not.
I must admit that I am not very computer savvy. Oh well.

  17. Thank you, Barbara. The sound on the video is working fine from You Tube as well as my blog. Any chance the sound on either your computer or the slider control on the video was turned down or muted? Anyone else have a sound issue? I found the volume a bit loud and had to turn mine down! I appreciate your feedback and take any technical issues to heart! M

  18. Thanks for the video Mary. I viewed it on YouTube yesterday, but was disappointed because of no sound. So glad to find it on your blog today. Looking forward to Sat. I’m excited!

  19. Oh wow Mary!! thank you for this fabulous sneak peek of all of these up coming goodies, I spotted a couple of them that are going on my wish list now.
And your Boris looks very regal and totally comfy sitting there, just overlooking all of the activity, how super cute is he!!!

  20. THANK YOU for the sneak peek!!! I was unable to attend the launch so I really appreciate this mini-tour!

  21. Thanks for the video! I’m loving the treat bag dies. That will be on my first order!

  22. Thanks so much for the video…that my friend will leave us wanting more. Cannot wait for the mail to arrive so that I can start my wish list. Shelter Tree is at the top, love the bicycle.

  23. The good news is that the Lotus Blossom stamp set is photopolymer . . . which means it’s “see through” for pretty accurate layering. I haven’t used it yet (so much to play with) but assume it will be pretty easy to layer. Regarding the Irresistibly Yours Paper, you can add ink with a brayer, sponge dauber, blendabilities, direct ink to paper from the pad . . . then wipe with a paper towel. The ink in the pre-embossed areas will remove and leave the white raised pattern with the color (or colors–cool) you added around them! Very custom way to create your own backgrounds.

  24. I’ll give Boris a hug, Miss Kadie. He looks so peaceful in the video (wasn’t there when I started but must have wanted a little “show” time). The previous day, he grabbed one of my ribbons off the shelf and made a mad dash through the house. Of course, he left a “trail” of ribbon and he was at the end of the line. If cats grin, he definitely was!

  25. Love the treat bag die! So many favorites!! Thanks for the video too! You make the products come to life! Best Wishes and Happy Stamping!

  26. I think we re-ordered the exact same things Mary. The only thing I didn’t get was the Sheltering Tree set…..but you just know it’s on my next order. Thanks for sharing with us and a big fur hug to Boris.

  27. I watched the video but there is so much new “stuff” I can’t pick one thing! The little treat bag die and stamps were delightful as were the Valentine paper and stamps. Oh my! I can’t wait!! Great job on the video, Mary.

  28. WOW, thanks for the video of the upcoming goodies:) Lots of delicious playthings:) xo judi

  29. Lotus Blossom Stamp set! I hope you do a video to show how you line them up properly. Also the white embossed paper that you color..how? Very intriguing. Thank you for sharing.
