“Life of Brian” Congrats Card!

Happy Thanksgiving!   I’m in Denver spending time with family–so grateful to be together.  Whatever you have on your “plate” today, I wish you a warm and wonderful holiday!

Today’s card (based on PPA Challenge PPA229) is for Brian King of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Virtual Community.  Brian is reaching some pretty TALL milestones this month (how appropriate since he’s 6’5″).  I’m so excited for him and hoping he shares the details with you as they play out on his Stamp with Brian blog.  So “live the life you’ve imagined,” Brian!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • What could be simpler than to punch circles of pretty patterns (Back to Black Designer Series Paper) and adhere to Whisper White Cardstock?

  • ON SALE NOW!  I used the Stampin’ Up! 2″ Circle Punch (40% off thru Dec. 2, while supplies last) for the bottom circle.
  • A simple Black Candy Dot (Neutrals Candy Dots) accents the sentiment from Really Good Greetings.

  • I love the crisp combination of Basic Black, Whisper White and Bermuda Bay.  It’s both fresh and masculine.
  • The Stampin’ Up! Hexagon Punch is a quick and easy way to crop the flagged end. Just flip the punch over, insert one end of the cardstock directly into the hexagon area.  Line up and punch!

COMING UP TOMORROW:  To celebrate Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday (Nov. 28 – Dec. 1), I’m doing my first ever “What’s Under the Tree” Blog Candy Giveaway.   Each day I’ll add more blog candy gifts “under the tree” to reach over $200 in value (based on original retail price).  I’ll be drawing one lucky winner’s comment for all the “under the tree” blog candy (the total of all four days).  More details on tomorrow’s post.
