This week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge offers a fabulous trio of colors for fall or today’s decidedly masculine birthday card!
Check out what the rest of the Pals Paper Arts Resident Artists have created and play along!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Be the “boss” in “emboss!” I mixed the texture of Stampin’ Up!’s Woodgrain (mustache) and Zig Zag Embossing Folders (Mossy Meadow layer).
- I absolutely love the distinguished vibe of the mustache and the “hip hip hooray” sentiment. Cheerio!
- A single Cajun Craze Candy Dot (Regals Collection) punctuates the top right corner.
- And the texture on the envelope flap? I’ll share a 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial with you tomorrow with tips.
SO TELL ME . . . I love reading your comments Please leave me a comment at the end of this post with your thoughts or questions about today’s card! I’m here to help!

Very interesting colors for your challenge!!! Really great design, plain and simple and thanks for the reminder and tip for adding to the envelope flap!
Woo hoo! Thanks, Pat!
I really appreciate the tip on how to place the envelope into the embossing folder. I would not have placed the flap of the envelope in the correct position. Your placement tip was right on and immensely helpful.

Thanks, Linda. It keeps the plates looking “prettier,” too.
Your cards always have that extra “something” that makes them incredible. Thank you for the tip about the cutting/embossing clear plates – I had never thought of that. I’ll be ordering a brand new set JUST for embossing.
So excited you want to play, Charlene. You’ll need to upload the photo to a blog of a public gallery (like Splitcoaststampers). Let me know if I can help further. Here’s the link to the challenge. http://stampinpretty.typepad.com/pals_paper_arts/

Great job !!!!!
Hugs Frenchie,
Oh I like that, Robbye. Mr. Monopoly and even Colonel Mustard (Clue)
So cute, it reminds me of Mr. Monopoly and I haven’t a clue why. Probably the mustache, maybe, you think.
Thanks, Katy. That little touch of texture on the mustache brings it to life!
I see mustaches everywhere. Pillows, sheets, art, fabric. They are just plain fun and trendy!
Gasp! I keep seeing the mustache die and I keeping falling in love with it! I have to put it on my next order. Great way to do a masculine card.
This card is so you, Mary! Clean graphics with just the right amount of texture. My fave is the mustache!!
Love, love, LOVE!!! The textures are super fun!
Thanks so much. It’s a card for my brother-in-law who has a big mustache. Perfect!
Crazy for your two different embossing folders. GREAT CARD my friend!
