A Simple Sale-A-Bration Hello Card

It’s 3:30 a.m. and 20 minutes ago I didn’t have a card ready for you.  As I have shared previously, my husband and I have moved to a new home (simplifying our “digs”) and the last of the boxes was moved in this week.  The reality is that we have remodeling going on at the same time (including a new stamping studio–woo hoo!) and it makes unpacking and organizing a challenge, especially for a girl who needs everything neat as a pin.

Fortunately, I was quickly inspired in the wee hours by the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper in the Sale-A-Bration promotion brochure (including scooping part of the idea from the sample on page 4) and popped out a note card (Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & Envelopes) in minutes.

The even bigger blogging challenge among my mess is taking a photo.  So for those of you who wonder how I take my photos, this (above) ISN’T the norm.  LOL!  This is a shot of my kitchen which is getting a facelift.

A couple quick tips for you today (before I head back to bed for a few hours and the painters arrive).  I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch to trim the Summer Starfruit Cardstock and the Vintage Faceted Designer Button to add splash and sparkle. The buttons are on sale through Monday, January 27, as part of this week’s Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals.  You could substitute the Scallop Trim Border Punch, which is also on sale!   Click to see ALL the Weekly Deals for Jan. 21 – 27.
