  • I created envelopes for both 5 1/4″ square cards using my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.  Here’s my FREE Simply Scored Diagonal Plate Chart so you can make many different sizes of envelopes in a flash!
  • These two tote bags from a fashion catalog inspired my modern flower and color choices.

  1. Discovered the wonder that is the silicone craft sheet this weekend at a cropping retreat– I made FOURTEEN of the ornaments that are on the cover of the holiday mini… needless to say– a TON of hot gluing… muy digging this little treasure! Can’t wait to try some easier projects like these flowers with it LOL A LOT faster (took about 28 hours to do the 14 ornaments) 🙂

  2. Wow! that is one minute to WOW! Thanks for the great idea.

  3. Stunning! How do you make the envelope?

  4. Dear Mary!
Thank you for the video, the idea to make the flower!
Is it all right that I show the card and the image with the bags on my side? With a link to you, of course! It fits so well with our Wednesday game! Did you see that you have given the idea?
    Look at this!

And your pocket card fits perfectly with the game again!
I love the google translater! 😉
I wish you a great time!
    Regards

  5. Great card Mary! I love the flowers and seeing the inspiration piece.Good wishes, Kerry

  6. Hi Virginia: The Stampin’ Up! silicone mat and glue gun keep my hands free to assemble. It’s also “forgiving” while it’s cooling in case you need to move things. The mat is designed to be used with a glue gun . . . unfortunately, we don’t sell them but they are readily available. I paid $5 for mine 🙂 Hugs, M

  7. If you didn’t use the glue gun, what would be your first choice of SU! product to use?

  8. You,ve got me looking in new ways for inspirations for my cards. Thanks

  9. WOW indeed, Mary. With the hot glue holding the petals you know they wont go anywhere and it dries faster than regular glue. Genious!! Thank you for always sharing your awesome ideas with us.
    Maria.

  10. Oh, now that was fun! 🙂 I love how the petals on your flowers seem so light and airy, but you know with hot glue that they are not going to pop off your card…yay! I also think I am ready to get the Blossom Petals Builder Punch…this mat makes it look so easy to make those gorgeous flowers. Thanks, Mary, for making this video and starting the weekend with awesome inspiration! 🙂

  11. Yep , that was a WOW , GOOD JOB MS MARY, Thank you for all your ideas , I love them!!!
