Simple Stampin’ Up! Bookmark

Stampin up stampinup demonstrator bookmark gift punch idea When I give gifts, I love to include at least a little something handmade.  This simple bookmark is a perfect partner to include with a book.  I didn’t add any “bumps” or dimension so that the bookmark would lay flat.  The “vase” was created using the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies.  Watch My Stampin’ Pretty Video Tutorial to see how.

A special thanks Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and fellow Advisory Board member Amy Storrie for taking this photo for me.  I forgot to photograph the bookmark before including it with gifts (part of a “My Favorite Things” exchange) for each board member and Shelli Gardner (Stampin’ Up! CEO and Co-Founder), while we were in Salt Lake City last week.

  2. Love this project! Thanks for the idea. Also, last week you asked for new punch ideas, I knew there was one I thought about earlier this summer but couldn’t remember. Pulled the stamp set out today and it hit me, I would love a punch for the It’s a Wrap stamps…I make lots of treats throughout the year using that stamp set, would love an easy punch for them! Maybe you can bring that up on the advisory board!

  5. Hummm…you just gave me an idea….I wonder if I could cut a bookmark out of a laminate pocket, then cut the cardstock the same shape and maybe trim a tad off the edges, do my stamping, etc. and then laminate this bookmark???? Gotta try this. Bookmarks are a staple item in my household…avid readers here. Love your bookmark and thanks for getting my brain moving this a.m. Have a great day!!!

  6. Hello Mary: I love this too, as always you have some of the greatest ideas. Can I ask how did you make the scalloped edge? I’ve studied the picture and I just can’t figure it out. I bet is super simple but my brain ain’t helping.:(
