Good things come in all shapes in sizes . . . especially if it’s an unexpected and fun card shape! For today’s card base, I used the Stampin’ Up! Floral Frames Framelits Dies and my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine to create my “round” card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO260). Learn how produce this floral card base with my new Stampin’ Pretty WOW! Video Tutorial below! Please leave me a comment with your feedback on today’s card and video . . . I love hearing from you!
NOTE: The directions for Stampin’ Up! Framelits Dies indicate that they are intended to cut through ONE layer of card stock.
To create the card base for today’s card, I’m cutting through two. I haven’t had any problems in doing this but want to give you a heads up that this may void your Framelits product guarantee if damage results.
I added Lucky Limeade Designer Series Paper to both the card and flap on the envelope. Finished diameter of the card base is approximately 4 3/4″.
The Stampin’ Up! Floral Frames Framelits Dies go the distance. They were used for the card base, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot layer and the Rich Razzleberry flower around the “thank you” sentiment. I also plan to use the second largest to crop a coordinating interior layer for my personal note.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY FRAMELITS STORAGE TIP:
I initially shared that I stored my Stampin’ Up! Framelits Dies on magnetic sheets in our DVD sized storage cases. However, some of the largest dies (in particular, the Floral Frames Framelits set), are too large for the cases. To keep things neat and tidy, I still use magnetic sheets but use the original plastic pocket to store ALL my Framelits.

This card is so very beautiful and I love the tutorial!
What a yummy color combination Mary……I’m not a big fan of green – but Lucky Limeade…..LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing the tip on cutting 2-layers of CS with the framelits…..You are so sweet to alert us to the warranty of our product. LOVE your card and the envelope is the perfect finish.
You have outdone yourself! I love this card!
Mary, love your card (your style is just me to a T), love your videos (always perfectly paced and so easy to listen to) and love your blog which I visit on a daily basis. Only problem is that my wish list/order list for 1st October (UK) gets longer at the end of each visit. Isn’t that strange!
Best wishes from a cold, grey and damp Scotland.
Mary,
You are such and inspiration to me. I look forward to your daily emails.
