Ladybug Love & New 1 Minute to WOW! Video

Stampin up punch art lady bug summer smooches demonstrator video tutorial
“Happiness” is a sweet, little lady bug!  Stampin’ Up! Circle Punches were key to this simple 5 1/4″ square card.  Today’s 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial shows you how to create the leaves using the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch and Stampin’ Up! Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (see Summer Smooches Offer below).

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin’ Up! Builder Punches are wonderful multi-taskers.  I used the Cupcake Builder Punch for the Basic Black Spots and Whisper White of the ladybug’s eye and the Owl Builder Punch for the tiny Basic Black pupil.

  • Stampin’ Dimensionals pop up my ladybug’s body.
  • The fresh, modern designs of Stampin’ Up! Summer Smooches Designer Series are perfect for this simple card.
  • I was inspired by this card at a home d?cor store and asked permission to take a photo.  I was confident that I could translate it into my own card using Stampin’ Up! products.

  1. Cute as a………ladybug! A tip for managing those little pieces of paper with the punches….catch the paper on the sticky edge of a post-it note. You can hang on to the piece of post-it to easily maneuver the DSP in the punch.

  2. Too cute and I like your card way better than the one you saw in the store! Now, I am intrigued by what Jo Williams said and don’t quite understand. How about a 1 minute tutorial on how she did it? The more we can get out of our punches, the better!

  4. Do you know that you can fold your paper-any color- in half and put it about a third into the punch with the fold to the inside. Leave it folded and run it thru a crimper at an angle. Really cute with a lot of texture.
