STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Measuring up! Each panel measures 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″.
- Tin of Cards photopolymer (clear) stamp set is a versatile collection of sentiments (and cute doodles) for every day occasions. I ADORE that the stamps are clear (see-through) and so easy to place.

- What? My Candy Dots? All four color collections of Stampin’ Up! Candy Dots (Neutrals, Brights, Regals, Subtles) are retiring and only available to purchase while supplies last. I love how the Basic Black Candy Dot (Neutrals) adds definition to the sentiment! See all retiring products and what’s on sale here.
- Going, going, almost gone! The Stampin’ Up! Envelope Liners Framelits Dies are retiring, too, along with the sweet pattern on my envelope liner from the Sweet Li’l Things Designer Series Paper collection.
- Sold out! The little “squiggle” below “happy birthday” is from the Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies. These dies were on the Retiring Products List but, unfortunately, have sold out.

I had to cut back on cupcakes after I retired. At least can look at the pretty one in you card! Color combinations and object design/placement are work wel together. Great card!
Thanks so much, Brent!
Clean and simply marvelous…in perfect Mary style!
Do you think the candy dots will be replaced by something like enamel dots? I use candy fits in every card and used to use brads…the party enamel dots rock.
I love that, Christine. Punch Hound!
I love the template….so many images can be used for this one. I’m a punch hound, I can’t wait to make some cards with the owl and bird punches!
I’m waiting for the frosting to land on the cupcake! YUM!
Who doesn’t love a cupcake? This one is so cute, love how you left space between the parts, neat touch. This is also a card to send to just about anyone, which is always a plus!
Mary, this is a wonderful card for any age birthday, it’s fun yet elegant and beautiful. Love the sweet statement the cupcake makes with the black background!! Fabulous colors too.
Thank you for sharing.
I have been receiving your newsletters for awhile and I must tell you that I just love your card deigns – simple, yet elegant. The matching envelope really sets the pair as something anyone could copy without a lot of supplies.
From a fellow demonstrator

Terrific color palette Mary! The cupcake just jumps out of the black background.

Thanks, Susan, for your sweet words. I’m just as fortunate to BE your leader!
Please also tell the size of your base card. It would be a big help for a newbie!
Thanks, Kate
Feel free to ask any time, Kate. I’m happy to answer questions. Typically, if I don’t list the card base size, it’s a standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card (also called A2). My cupcake birthday card above is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
