Hello Mary –
I have several New Years resolutions, but the most important I think is to enjoy every moment that I am given – even the moments where I find that my life is just not going where I want it to go – to live in the present and not worry about the future.
Happy New Year!
I want to step out of my creative “safety zone” more often! 🙂
The blog candy looks yummy, as all candy should!
Happy New Year!
My resolution for this year is to keep my NEW stamp room clean, tidy, and presentable! I recently took over my almost-never-used dining room as my stamp room and am slowly getting more organized. Since it sits off the entryway, I have to make it look good! Thanks for the chance to win!
Looks yummy Mary!
My NY’s res. is to give my family a healthier lifestyle…I want to take better care of my “blessings”!
Wishing you a Happy & Safe New Year!
Blessings, Maria
btw, when is the last to order from the holiday mini?
thanks!
Hi Maria: The Holiday Mini products are available through Jan. 18! Some items (like the Big Shot) will be continued. Others may retire. Wish I knew which ones 🙂
Hugs, Mary
I have resolved to me more financially fit in 2009! With the economy on a roller coaster I want to know that if I lose my job tomorrow my family will be okay! Thanks!
Of course I’m working on the healthy lifestyle change and all that stuff, but my weakness is fast food. So I resolve to not eat fast food at all.
Wow…I have so many, but I think the best one for me, is let ALL the negatives out of my life and just be POSITIVE, I am practicing it early!!! So far, so good…LOL……….second to that is getting my room to look like an artists room…I am also working on that now, whew, I have alot of “stuff”!! Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year to YOU!!!!
http://www.nelliesnest.blogspot.com
My resolution is to organize my stamping supplies better including a list of all my sets and each month, take a set out and make several cards with that set. If I don’t absolutely love what I’ve created, then sell the set (to make way for new!). I sometimes don’t know what I have, so 2009 is my “organize year”.
Love your blog and what you do, you are an inspiration!
One of my many goals for 2009 is to eat at least 2 raw meals per day. Lots of raw fruits, vegetables and nuts, less cooked veggies and meat.
Thanks Mary for all your wonderful ideas. For the new year I am going to try to have hand made cards for all of my events. I’m a ‘newbee’ so this will be a challenge.
Thank you Mary. We can always count on you. For 2009 I want to plan ahead and organize so that I can volunteer and spend more time with the family.
I love your blog!
I resolve to eat healthier, exercise, and stamp/scrapbook more than I have in the past!
This year’s New Year’s Resolution…To make this year the best ever!
Wow! What wonderful NYR from everyone. Mine will sound similar… get fit & healthy, eat right, organize. But my first thought for a NYR is probably my best: 2008 brought us the gift of a grandchild and I feel I owe it to him, as well as myself and his parents, to record his early years in scrapbooks. Babies are just such a wonderful scrapping opportunity! Happy New Year, Mary and keep on keeping us inspired!
HHHMMMMMM!New Year’s Resolution? How about I just follow through with the ones I made in, oh say – 1962??????? LOL All kidding aside I’d like to lose some weight (a popular resolution I notice) and to make sure I stay in touch with those elderly loved ones who live so far away. In other words – take the time to make a card at least once a month for those lovely elderly people who so look forward to hearing from anyone.
My resolution is to be happy with what I have and to challenge myself to try new ideas. You have a great blog and I love to check it out every day.
I have several resolutions: exercise more, eat healthier, and the number one is to organize my stamp room:)
My New Year’s resolution is a tandom effort with my new husband. We both entered our marriage with debt so it is our resolution to be out of debt in 18 months. We have a large amount of debt so we will be living without a lot of things we both would like but the end goal is half way through we will start tyring for our first child! It will be all worth it. Here’s to the new year! BTW, I love your work!
Hi Mary! I wish you a happy, HEALTHY, New Year! My NYR is to workout! I joined the gym and now I’m putting ME first! We’ll see how long this lasts…! Can’t wait to see your creations in 2009! Peace~Kim2
HELLO,
lOVE THE BLOG!
MY NEW YEARS RESOULTION IS TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT,GET IN SHAPE (SEEMS TO BE THE THING TO DO!)
CREATE MORE AND LOVE WHAT I HAVE AND BE GRATEFUL FOR THE FAMILY & LOVE THEY GIVE ME.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU.
thanks for the chance at blog candy mary. i enjoy your blog and check it frequently. my new years resolution for the past couple of years has been to gain weight and eat lots of food! why set myself up for failure at the beginning of a new year!!
Yay!!! Mary, I love your blog candy give-aways!! I haven’t won, but I don’t care…they’re still so much fun!! My New Years resolutions are you get in shape and to finish my husbands scrapbook! I started it a year and a half ago and got majorly side-tracked! But now with my new catalog coming (Thank You Mary!) I can really get into the spirit! Keep up the FABULOUS blog and have a wonderful new year!!
Hi Mary,
Keep up the great blog. I enjoy reading your blog everyday!
My new year’s resolution –
Find a new job.
Work out 4 – 5 times a week.
Pay off my credit card debt.
Host stamp camps at least once a month.
Thank you for your blog. I look so forward to it.
My New Years resolution is:
Lose weight and maintain an excercise routine.
Create and maintain a budget.
Create and maintain a house cleaning routine.
I didn’t make a new years resolution last year so I’m making up for it with lots of resolutions this year…
1. Weight loss with healthy eating and exercise (of course)
2. Building my Stampin Up! customer base
3. Saving money and paying off some debt
4. Keeping my apartment cleaner
5. Staying in touch with friends better
I have the usual healthy resolutions of getting back in shape, eating better, and exercising regularly. I also have some professional goals: cleaning and organizing my craft room so I can leave the door open, stamping regularly, having Christmas cards done by Thanksgiving, setting up a blog. I’m ambitious all right! LOL! I love the setup of your blog and will probably try to “case” it! Thanks so much for sharing all of your expertise with us!
I have so many of them, but most importantly I want to get my craft room organized and stamp, stamp, stamp!
Hi, Mary! My resolution is to live more simply. That means less “baggage” — materially, emotionally, physically (as in, I wanna lose some weight!), pretty much all the way round. Happy New Year!
Thanks so much for all the lovely ideas you post, Mary. If I were to resolve anything for the new year it would be to take more time to be creative – and stamp!
My biggest New Year’s Resolution is to keep my finances in check in order to save more. I also want to get my home more organized and keep it that way! Thanks!
Hi Mary,
I want to lose 10 pounds, make more cards, and enjoy the Kindergarten children I teach more. Thanks for sharing with all who go to your blog!
Kriss
Hi Mary,
I love your blog and all the great ideas I get from you….My NYR is be more grateful for the things I have…and maybe to scrap and stamp more.
Thanks,
Suzanne
I have a few but number one and two are, stick to my diet and organize my home!
Hi Mary,
I am new to your blog. You do such a wonderful job of educating us and giving wonderful ideas. You have definitely inspired me (a former SU rep) even to the point of considering rejoining. My NYR is to not make any. I never seem keep any of them :). So glad I happened to come across your site. Thank you!
My New Years resolution is to live my life NOW. The time to be creative and happy is NOW. Thank you for all the insipration.
Awesome candy! Your blog is SO nice! Love how you show how to do things and SHOW what you use!!!!
I am going to stamp more in 2009! I really would like to get some scrapbooking done too….I hope the year doesn’t go by to fast!
thanks again!
Love your blog! My NYR is to organize my life more so that I can accomplish more things that matter!!
HNY Hugs,
Julie
My resolution is to use my new Copic markers, to keep my craft area clean, and to spend more time stamping!
My new years resolution is to get more exercise and try to get my craft space cleaned up on a regular basis. I also want to try to get birthday cards done in advance and make sure I get tthem mailed out on time for once.
My resolutions are to make a difference in someone’s life each day, eat smaller meals and exercise at least 2xweek, and to start stampin again. i love your ideas, you’re awesome!
I’m going to keep a prayer journal… maybe I’ll decorate in SU paper. 🙂
I promise to make every card I send this year, eat healthier to fit in my skinny jeans and to create memories that will be a comfort to me in the years to come. I am new to this site but I enjoy visiting it every day.
I join the others in thanking you for your wonderful ideas. I love reading your blog.
My NYR is to digitally scrap once a week, along with all the other crafts I do during a week. Otherwise I will never learn!
My NYR is to better prioritize my time so I’ll get more things done that really mean something to me. Thanks, Mary, for all you do for us!
This years resolution will be to spend less and to focus on using what I currently have. In other words the end justifies the means.
First of all..thank you for all your lovely designs…I failed to thank you enough through the year.My NYR is to look directly into the mirror and shout…YOU’RE FINALLY ON MEDICARE AND IT DIDN’T HURT AT ALL!!!! SIXTY-FIVE AIN’T SO BAD!!!!!! Happy New Year my friend and sweet blessings to you all.
Hi Mary,
Thanks for all your wonderful projects you share with the web world. My NYR is to become more organized so I can have more time to stamp and do the things I like to do:) Happy New Year to you and your family, I look forward to visiting your blog daily, it is great and keep up the great work:)
Thanks for the blog candy chance! I guess I would join the others that want to use what I already have and not be so tempted all the time!
Happy New Year Mary!
I am decluttering & beautifying my environment and learning to bake in the new year!
Mary your blog is awesome! My resolution is to take better care of me! It’s always my boys first… but I need to get healthy for all of us. My husband bought me a wii fit for Christmas and it’s my goal to get healthy. Oh and post more regularly to my own blog – I’m bad at that!
My resolution is to exercise more, scrapbook at least 4 pages a month and put items away after I use them in my craft room!!! 🙂 Maybe that will keep them from piling up so much and getting lost! LOL Thanks for such a great blog!!!!!
Thanks so much for the chance to win some candy! I really enjoy your blog. My NYR is to declutter my house – I can’t stand it any longer. I had to clean out my mother’s house this year and half of her stuff has ended up here.
Vicki
Hi Mary:
Happy New Year, love your blog.
Thanks for the chance at some fine blog candy-yum! My New Year’s Resolution is to use the fun stuff I have already and limit my new purchases. Thank you.
I am going to become organized so I don’t spend money on “stuff” I already own because I can’t find it!
Mary, you are the best….I wasn’t going to make a resolution this year, but you enticed me into it…..So my New Years resolution for 2009 is never to miss a day of reading one of Mary’s awesome post and making more cards for my family and friends. Blessings, Teri
As I become older, priorities in my life change with each year. During 2009, I want to continue learning something new each day, whether it’s a new card crafting technique or a new word, but also want to think of others more often and their needs. My life continues to get blessed, so giving something back in return is one of my goals.
Love, love, love your blog! My resolution is to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. I am trying to wait for a New Years special. I would love for you to keep me posted on this matter!
Many blessings to you and yours!
Betty
My NYR: to clean up / organize my “stamp room” and to eat healthier…I guess I’m just resoving to take control of my life!
*smile*
Happy New Year Mary!
what a lovely name you have!
your site inspires me – you have such creative ideas.
my New Year resolutions are to eat healthy, walk regularly, and organize house and work space.
thank you for sharing your ideas with us and offering awesome blog candy!
best wishes to you, your lovely family, and your lovely blog family.
Hi Mary,
Thanks you for having blog candy.
I guess my New Years Resolution has to do with Stampin Up. I need to go into my demo’s craft house in the back yard, without having her put the doggie in when Im coming over.
Happy New Year!!!!
Fatima
I need to put these promises in print to help me keep them!!! First I want to post more and upload more of my cards (many of which you inspired). Comments are good!!! I also need to finish my scrapbookS I started soooo long ago. Ugh!!
Thank you for this opportunity, how fun!!
Eileen
My NYR is to stop putting things off, be it eating healthier, really excercising or just get more scraping/stamping done–just do it! Again, I love your blog!
My new year’s resolution is to stop buying stamp and scrapbooking stuff that I don’t need for a CURRENT project. I am teh queen of buying things that I think I’ll use at a later date, and I just keep accumulating, accumulating, and accumulating. It’s out of control!
My resolution is to try and scrapbook more, I’m always doing cards! Thanks for the chance to win some awesome candy! I look forward to checking your blog daily, you are a very talented lady!
My new year’s resolution – TO BE HAPPY WITH WHAT I HAVE
Ah New Year’s Resolutions… mine is to stop swearing even when I’m mad! I know, who admits they swear???…well it does slip out and I really don’t like it- so I made up my mind about 2 weeks ago to knock it off!
What wonderful blog candy, Mary! You’re the best! My resolution is to stamp more even when it gets busy in the summer; even if it’s for 30 min.! Hugs, Monica
My resolution is to spend more quiet time with my husband and children.
Heather
Since I am recovering from a broken knee cap my resolution is to follow the doctors orders as far as therapy to a tee so i can be up again and walking/driving in record time and also to start a card ministry program by sending at least one “thinking of you” card to someone every week!
My resolution is to stop over-eating and to get back down in to a size 8 jeans (comfortably!!), exercise, make more time for myself (so I can get healthy), spend quality time with my family, and get organized!! Big list, huh?! Thanks for the chance to win. LOVE your blog and all the things you share!
My New Year’s resolution is to spend more time with my new mother-in-law, who I love. She lives by herself a couple hours away from us, and she and I clicked the first time we met. She’s a wonderful person, and she needs more people to do things with her. I also have my usual resolution to eat healthier and exercise more! Can’t wait for the weather to warm up so we can go hiking again!
My New Year’s Resolution is to Live much Laugh often and Stamp more.
My mom just had a heart attack on Friday and she’s only 50 years old. So my resolution is to get healthier so it doesn’t happen to me. Heart problems run in our family. (She is recovering nicely now and just got home from the hospital this morning.)
To enjoy the everyday things and stay healthy (eat better and excerise). Thanks for the chance to win!
My New Year’s resolution is to eat healthy and lose some weight!! I used to be a runner and I want to get back into shape and train for a marathon in April.
I’m doing the Clutter Diet in 2009!
To be a healthier, happier me!!!! To get my “play room” organized so I scrap more, but most importantly I will pray more knowing my God will never give me more than I can handle. I will also enjoy my boys so much more, life passes us by way too fast to be unhappy even for one more minute. I love your blog….God bless!!!
My resolution is one to my mental health and that is to stop being discouraged about my diet. Although it is taking so much time to lose even a pound, I’m exercising and I really do feel better. I guess that is what should count, not the pounds.
Mary,
My resolutions are to mainly devote some time to ME, getting to the doctor after putting it off, walking, eating better and cutting out the nighthly glasses of wine. I am going to devote a short time each day to meditate and connect with my inner self, and live in the present moment! (Didn’t think I was gonna be so deep, LOL!)
My New Year’s Resolution is to be more financially fit this year. The economy situation happened right before my eyes and it made me think about how important it is to have a nice nest egg.
Hi Mary,
I want to scrapbook more this year. Your site surely inspires me!
thanks,
Krista
I really want to scrap more. I hardly scrapped last year. 🙁
My New Years Resolution is to be more creative and make more cards. I also vow to get my unfinished projects completed.LOL
Mary, thank you for having such an awesome blog. I look forward to reading it each and every day. For my NYR, I am going to strengthen my relationship with God, my husband and family, declutter my house, and spend more time reading, stamping, and relaxing. Happy New Year.
Eat healthier, move more, learn to color with Copic markers….these are more than enough to keep me busy! Thanks for the chance Mary!
My resolution(s) are to become more healthy, walking every other day with the dog, for fitness. And to have a successful Stampin’ Up! event by March 1st!
Mary,
my new year’s resolution is to check your blog every day and learn everything I can about ways to use SU products! I enjoy reading your posts and seeing all the amazing things you can do…I’m new at card making and seeing your ideas definitely inspire me! thanks for sharing your creativity and the wisdom of others!
Eat healthier!
I am going to keep up with my scrapbooking. 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!
Happy New Year Mary! I resolve two things…to walk everyday and to spend less time reading about great ideas and more time actually making cards and crafts! LOL I was going to say to participate in a challenge as well but we’ll see about that.
My resolution is to finish the things I start!!! Keep up the awesome ideas Mary!!!
My New Year’s resolutions are to try new foods (that’s the one I can make and keep every year). In my stamping room I want to make an image inventory and strive to use my hoarded supplies. jmniffer
Thanks Mary for sharing your creativity with us and inspiring us! My new year’s resolution is to strive toward life balance – ensuring quality time with family, finding time for papercrafting, signing up for yoga, and letting the people I love know how grateful I am to have them in my life!
Thank you so much for this offer! I love reading your blog as your style is one that I really hope to develop. 🙂
I was just thinking this morning about a resolution. I’m doing very well eating better and losing weight, but I want to be certain to get in more fruits and vegetables each day.
Crafting resolutions will include sending more of the cards I make. I make a card that I love and then it tends to languish in a drawer. I want to spread more joy this year through the USPS! 🙂
My NYR-start saving for Christmas NOW, buy only what I need, give generously to all. Thanks for the blog candy and the daily dose of inspiration to us all Mary.
I wanna say I enjoy your blog; so many wonderful “tips!” Also, my resolution is to go back to school…via the internet of course because with 2 small children, that’s the easiest way to do so. Thanks for some yummy blog candy and Happy New Year!
Hi Mary!
My New Year’s Resolution? To break large projects, of any kind, down into “doable” sections, and accomplish at least 3 of these large goals this year. I guess time management might be the NYR, now that I think of it. 😉 I think I need a timer next to my computer. lol
Happy New Year to All!
barb hendrickson

Thank you for the offer and Happy New Year! I need to pay more attention to eating healthier and cook at home more often. Have a great week. Windy
First of all, thank you for such an inspiring and creative blog. I have been blessed and challenged by it since I subscribed. My NYR is simply to live my life as God planned for me to do, enjoy my blessings, and to live every day as if it is my last.
My New Years resolution is to declutter my home, get more organized and to spend more time stampin’ with friends.
Happy new Year Mary!!!
I guess that my NYR is to break my NYR. But I would like to own at least one SU set of stamps. I should be able to do that huh?
Blessings,
BEth F
Although, I make this resolution every year, I am going to exercise regularly, eat right, cut out sugar and lose weight. good luck to everyone on their resolutions!
I promise to clean my area (even go through items and set them aside to sell/garage sale). I also promise to eat healthier and begin exercising again.
My resolutions this year are to spend more time on my stamping and card making. I will also clean up my office. Boring, but necessary. The cards will nullify the effects of the cleaning.
My goal for next year is to get organized. I love to do alot of crafty things, but I would like to focus on one thing and start a business with it doing something I love.
Hi Mary – Along with all the usual resolutions I always make I really have a big one for this year…to find out who I am and what makes me happy. The kids are growing, needing me less, and I am feeling a bit lost. I need to regroup, find some self-confidence, and and learn to be happy with myself and put myself first sometimes…without guilt. I’m hoping my stamping venture helps me with this and I appreciate you always being there for help, questions, inspiration and encouragement.
My new year resolution, well, is to find happiness again, with the help of inspiration and creation. in the past 2 years I have lost my sister and two pregnancies. this has turned me from a very happy person into someone I don’t always recognize. I began creating and scrapbooking, finding comfort in memories.
thank you and happy new year
This is the first blog candy I’ve entered so maybe that will be my new resolution…surf more and enter more contests.
Thanks for that chance. 2nd entry as not sure first one submitted correctly.
My resolution is to be creative and smart in finding a way to spend more time at home with my family and less time working.
Getting back on the workout bandwagon – it’s been two months (yikes!) and spending more time with family are my two primary resolutions for the new year. Thanks for the opportunity to win some very nice blog candy as well!
Thank you for your wonderful, creative blog. I enjoy checking everyday to see what ideas you have posted. My resolution is promote a healthy lifestyle to my family, through exercise, diet and being compassionate to others.
Enjoy the new year!
Blssings-Kathy
My nyr is to work on my continuing project… that is to rid my house (and thus my life) of unnecessary clutter, to send at least one card a week, and to call my 91 year old aunt at least once a month. I resolve to pray more and fret less, to trust in the Lord with all my heart, no matter what may come.
Mary, I’ve just joined your blog list, and I already see so many things I want to try. Thanks for the opportunity to win some candy. How SWEET!
I’m always hesitant about resolutions, but this year I will be consistent about sending a handmade card to my grandmother every other week.
My NYR is to get my stamproom organized and to stamp more and surf less. Thanks for a chance for some blog candy. Love your blog.
I think my new year goals can be summed up by saying that I just want to get to it. Stop thinking about it and do it. Plus, I want to be a finisher, not just always starting things.
My resolution is to keep my craft room neater and surf fewer blogs. I’ve already pared down my blog subscriptions (don’t worry, I kept you!) so I’ve already started.
My New Year’s resolution is to get healthy and exercise. I suppose that is a very popular resolution. I also would like to take more time to relax with my husband instead of cleaning and running errands so much of the time.
My resolutions are to exercise more and to make cards for my enjoyment and not just because I need to send a card. Thanks for all of your inspirations.
My NYR is to try to keep my craft room organized, make more single cards that are different rather than mass produce, and walk the treadmill 30 minutes a day.
Have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Mary, second try as the first one didn’t go through for some odd reason. I plan on lossing the last 20 lbs, getting healthier, run more races and stamping more. Thank you for the chance at some awesome candy!
My New Year’s resolution is to spend more quality time with my daughter. I hope to create lasting memories, and to preserve them.
Im going to try my best to….randomly grab my children and love them like their is no tomorrow.. to make sure my husband knows for a fact.. he is the love of my life.. every time we part. to not take things so seriously.. to laugh at least once a day.. even if its at myself. to thank god for all he has blessed me with.
My New Year’s Resolution is to make more time making cards and to try to organize my stamp room.
My new years resolution is to stop working through lunch, a very bad habit of mine, stop procrastinating so I’m not making cards or cleaning at the last minute, and the most important is to start exercising again! I love reading your blog and looking at your beautiful cards. You are so kind to offer the blog candy!
My New Year’s resolution is to become more organized, weigh less, save money, laugh more often…ok,ok, I will be more realistic, the only one I know I can keep for sure is to laugh more often cause that is easy with my two silly little girls.
I promise to stop and smell the roses, to be healthier and to spend more time with my family.
More reading and creating (both pottery and stamping); less TV and internet. But don’t worry, I’ll still stop by here daily to see your beautiful creations!
Mary, Thank you for the fun in this blog candy! One thing I would like to work on this year is to continue the 30 minute treadmilling I have been doing; another area for me to work on is to have a bit more down time and fun with my children!! The third area where I would like to improve on is making more time to craft gifts for others and learn new techniques. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and you have my wishes for a peaceful New Year! Keep up the wonderful creativity as I check your blog every day!! ~Amy S.~
Since New Year’s Resolution are usually broken, I’m going to stick with one I have a better chance of accomplishing. That would be to duplicate a variety of cards in advance so I’m not rushing around last minute making a special one and mailing it immediately so it won’t be late. If I only have one, I tend to save it rather than use it. Would love to win your blog candy as never have won any yet. That could be another New Year’s Resolution! Thanks, Mary, for the opportunity and keep impressing us with your work and professional-looking blog!
This year I’ve been more of a book collector than a book reader. My resolution is to read my new acquisitions before getting any more books.
Lisa
One of my new year’s resolutions is to stop working through my lunch break … thanks for the chance to win some goodies.
Eat better. Get some exercise. Scrap a lot.
Resolutions are made to be broken it seems in my case. But, I really need to get my craft room organized – we moved in two years ago and I still have 4 boxes in there I have no idea of what are in them. I have my craft stuff all over the house. I really need to get this in gear. So, maybe this is more like an order from my husband than a resolution. I definitely need to lose weight, take care of myself, exercise more, etc. and that will just have to be an every day occurence in some sort of fashion. Once I get all that taken care of – then how about try making something at least once a week or doing needlework my first passion. Anyway, I love your blog and hope it inspires me to try some of your great projects. Man, I am going to have one busy year!!!!! Anyway, thanks for a chance to babble on. Happy holidays!
What a sweetheart you are! AND what sweet blog candy! I’ll play! My resolutions are (wait a minute, the list is REALLY long and I have to pair it down- LOL!):
Get healthy, totally re-do studio, become more of a business demo than a hobby demo and be nice to EVERYONE.
Okey-dokey- Have a great new year Mary
My New Year’s Resolution is to keep my stamping area more organized. It’s way too chaotic at the moment.
Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy, and for your great posts – I love checking your blog.
My NYR is to stamp more often , post on my blog more often ,and to stop procratinating !
My new years resolution is to stamp more! I promised myself I would take a technique class 2x a month because I love learning and feeling productive and creative.
I also need to conquer the 15 lbs of post baby weight (the ‘baby’ is 2- YIKES).
Mary – what a nice giveaway. Thanks for the chance to enter. My resolution is to just create and not worry about how my card looks compared to others. I want to remember the reason why I make cards and altered projects – namely to bring a smile to the recipient’s face and it is also a stress reliever for me as it’s a chance to tune out the pressures for a little while and just let the creative juices flow.
Happy new year and may 2009 bring you lots of creative mojo!
OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM GOING TO TYPE THIS:
I am going to spend more time working my business than being online ALL the time I could be stampin’…….
Oh boy that hurt to admit it 🙂
Thank you for the chance to win. I have many New year resolutions. The #1 is to be more organize, and the rest of my resolutions will fall in place.
Hi Mary,
My nyr is to save more and spend less, eat healthier and exercise.
Blessings,
Darcie
Be healthier, exercise more, enjoy life…
Hey Mary,
Thanks for having the candy blog. I really don’t have a resolution for the New Year. So many people have them and never follow them thru. I just want to keep doing the things I love like stamping, cardmaking, scrapbooking and my new love painting. I just want to be the best I can be and to do for the important people in my life and for myself. I have a saying too,” Everyday above ground is a good day”. I just want to live life to the fullest and to be blessed for all the blessing I have. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Love, Colleen
My New Years Resolution is to eat better/smarter! Thanks for the chance for some blog candy.

Thank you for your wonderful blog. My New Year’s resolution is to stamp more and better!
NYR….I have a few this year – Try to excercise at least 4 times a week, be more understanding of others and be honest to yourself.
Thanks for the blog candy 🙂 and all your help when I needed it.
My resolution is to start using the cards I’m always making by sending them out to friends and family and actually getting birthday cards out on time!!!! I also want to get back to exercising regularly so that I can not only lose some weight, but have a happier back!
Happy New Year!
My resolution is to stamp more often and keep my stamp space neater. (That second part is the hardest!) Thanks for the chance at the candy. It is wonderful.
I really enjoy your blog! Your cards are so fun! My New Year’s Resolution is to stop taking things so personally and to not worry so much! I hope I can do it! Oh, and to stamp at least one project per day! I can dream…..:)
My NYR is to not only be a better person inside and out but to give of my time and talent to those who can use it and to take the time to create and share more papercraft projects.
Just to scrap more. It seems I spend all my time trying to put away all the stuff I over buy and never have time to play with any of it. If I used it all up, I wouldn’t have to worry about putting it away.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year’s Mary!!
I love reading your blog and seeing what wonderful ideas you come up with – you are so creative!
I resolve to exercise more so that I can get in better shape.
Thanks for offering some great blog candy.
My NYR is to organize my craft room and not buy so many toys on impulse. I could open my own store and not havwe to order any stock!
My New Year’s resolution is to eat healthier, exercise more and focus on the important stuff, family and making a difference in the world.
Thank you for the chance to win your great blog candy! I love your blog and look forward to your new entries showing up in my in-box/> I appreciate you sharing your considerable talent with me.

Be healthier — just had a baby in October and I want back in my jeans! I also would like to be better about organization, housework and cooking for my husband.
Mary,
I really have enjoyed looking at all the cards that you make and what inspires you. My New Years Resolution is to use the tools I have and make cards to send to people for no reason but to say I was thinking of them. This will help me to be more creative and try new things. Also to keep my house a little cleaner and clutter free.
I purchased a walking membership at our local sports arena so it would force me to walk during the winter months. My goal is to walk at least three days a week until spring when I can be outside and walk everyday at home. Thanks for the chance to win some really nice blog candy, Mary! Love your colorful work!
My NYR is to lose my baby weight by June- I have a second DD due early February. It took me amost a year with my first DD to losse the weight, and I think June is a good goal this time around (I didn’t gain as much! 🙂 ). Thanks!

I’m going to gain better control of my anger and yell less. The budget has already begun so I’ll be spending less as well.
Did someone say BLOG CANDY? 🙂 New Year’s Resolutions, huh? I decided to not make any that actually start on New Years Day. I break them much too often, just caught up in the resolution thing.
I’ve decided to make a resolution this year. It will be my first in a very long time. I will take better care of myself. Physically, spiritually and mentally. One step at a time. I know then that all the other “things” in my life with fall into place.
Thank you Mary for your wonderful blog. You inspire me every day! Happy New Year.
Thanks 😉
My resolution is that I must…Must…MUST get my house organized so that I don’t feel soooo guilty taking time to create and surf these wonderful blogs! Happy New Year; and the best of luck to everyone that creates a New Year’s resolution!
Ohhh, how sweet of you. My New Year’s resolution is to keep my house cleaner. We are redoing our kitchen, ripping out the cupboards, switching the room around (sink will be at the opposite end of the kitchen) and will tear down a wall. When it is all done I want to start keeping things neat and tidy.
My New Years Resolution will be to scrapbook more and to lose at least 20 pounds before my 40th Birthday in July.
Happy New Year!!!
My resolution is to surf less and create more! I’ve picked my 6 favorite sites (you’re #1 Mary!) and that’s it!
My New Years resolution is to bring my dog for a walk everyday. Whether she wants to go or not 🙂
My NYR is to send out a random card a week, memorize 2 Bible verses a month the whole year with Beth Moore’s group, and lose weight for my niece’s wedding in July.
I resolve to play with my stamps more and not just when I have an agenda. Also, to put away the supplies when I finish a project and not just start another–this is the path to a disorganization. Don’t ask me how I know this…..
My new years resolution is to clean my stamp room weekly not every few months. If only, I could train myself to put things away when I am done. LOL!
Happy New Year’s, Mary!!
I wanted to say I LOVE your blog!!
My New Year’s resolution is to stop drooling over everyone else’s creativity and start using what I have to make cards and scrapbook layouts for my kids!! 🙂
During the coming new year I hope to use my stamping stuff and scrapbooking stuff instead of just “collecting” the cool new toys in my closet.
I promise to get more scrapbooking done and actually get enough cards done so there will always be one handy!
I plan to continue my weight loss from last year, pick up my Monday night Yoga class again, read my Bible every day ( I received a wonderful chronolgical Bible for Christmas)and to try not to stress about every little thing.
My New Year’s resolution is to build up my card inventory enough that I’m never caught off guard!
~Sue
My resolutions for this year are to be more money conscious, get organized, wake up earlier and learn to be more patient.
Hope you have a great new year. Looking forward to seeing more of your awesome creations. My New Year’s Resolution is to organize my time so I can spend more time with family and friends.
I have a great one and I really, really, really hope I can stick to it. I want to do a little bit of Christmas shopping EVERY month. This year I was afraid the kids wouldn’t get any presents to open because I procrastinated and then we had storm after storm after storm. I finally was able to go shopping on the 23rd. It was so stressful!
Okay, I’ve learned to make my nyr “do-able” and to limit the number I make. So we’ll keep it at 3: To work out, in some fashion for 20-30 minutes every day (not just if I have time), to scrapbook at least 2 pages/week, and to learn something new. What a fun candy question! Thanks for all your hard work!
I promise to make this the year I finally get my oodles of stamping and scrapping treasures organized — and use them instead of simply collecting and stacking them. Also, and more importantly, I promise to be more attentive to my girlfriends and I’ll start by giving the Punches Three set I win from you to my best stamping girl Jenny since she really NEEDS it!
I don’t have a new years resolution…I’m bad! hope everyone else has good luck with thiers! happy new year and thanks for chance to win!
I don`t usually make resolutions , BUT, I hope to use all my stampin up supplies more this year, not just simply for cards, but for gifts as well.
Thanks for sharing your creativity and being such a great inspiration to people like me who aren`t as naturally gifted as you.(:
My resolution is to inspire others with my passion for stamping, scrapbooking, card making, and gift giving.
~Trish~
Hi Mary,

Giovana
Happy New Year!!!!
I guess my Resolution would be to do more for others. Like making/sending cards. And cleaning up my stamp area.:) (wish me luck with that)
My New Year’s resolution. I new to ‘StampinUp’ the fall of 08. I am going to attempt to make all of the cards I need for the coming year.
My resolution is to scrapbook each week, at least one page a week. I’m so far behind!
Love your site!!

My New Year’s resolution is to plan a weekend get-away with hubbie at least every other month. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas you share!
My resolution each year is not to make anymore resolutions.
It works, I haven’t 🙂
However, I hope to read my bible daily and attend more studies in 2009.
One of my New years resolutions is to make my Christmas cards and gifts throughout the year, so I don’t get swamped in December! Love your creations!
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! My New Year’s resolution is to spend less time cleaning and more time playing with my children. =)
My New Year’s Resolution is to use the Wii Fit we got for Christmas every day, even if I can only fit in 10 minutes. 🙂
My New Year’s Resolutions are to lose some weight and start exercising a bit, and to cut way down on impulse spending. My husband would be happy to hear the last one! LOL
Thanks for the chance to win. I love your blog.
Hi Mary,
I promise to create at least two cards a week. I love to stamp, but find it difficult to make the time. This year will be different. Your cards are a great incentive. Thanks. Lorie
(I posted this for Lori who sent it to my inbox–Mary)
Mary, I check your blog daily, your cards are fantastic! My New Year’s resolution is to use stamps and embelishments that I already have and have not used!
A New Years Resolution? Oh boy…well, my upline, Dawn has started an incentive program for her downline. This program is designed for demonstrators to build their SU business, and it will be hard work, as we are forced to go beyond our “comfort zones” in order to succeed. I have signed up, so my NYR is to stick to the program in hopes of boosting my Stampin’ Up business. Love your blog Mary!
Happy New Year!
-Laurie
My resolution is to start using all the supplies and tools I have accumulated for scrapbooking for my 3 grandchildren as well as making cards!
Wow…I’d have to say my New Year’s Resolution is to not organize and re-organize my stamping supplies but to USE them more often and more freely.
I LOVE the hardware, felt flowers, beads and buttons but hold back on adding them to projects~I’m not sure why….I can always order more!
My new Year’s Resolution is to start “early” (February) on my Christmas gifts. I make gifts for my family: blankets, scarfs, pj’s, etc. I am going to make a plan and stick to it! I want to be done by December. My goal is to enjoy the holidays completely! Oh ya! and lose 40 pounds by June.
My New Year’s resolution is to scrapbook more….I really need to catch up! {SMILES}
My resolution is to use at least one stamp out of each set that have yet to see ink! Yikes! Thanks for sharing the goodies. I was just looking at that stamp set the other day to use to make invitations for my sister’s upcoming baby shower (okay it’s not until May but I thought I should get going on them!). Thanks for sharing!
My New Years Resolution is to be more creative and get my crafty projects completed. I also hope to organize my home and clear out the clutter! 🙂 You can be way more creative when there isnt clutter in the way! 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful New Years Mary! 🙂 Keep up the good work, i really enjoy coming to your blog everyday! 🙂
Oh Mary, thanks for this opportunity! My resolution for this coming year is to get back to exercising regularly, and eating better…hopefully leading to weight loss! 🙂
My New Years Resolutions are to post more cards more often to my blog, to get organized (both in the craft room and my house) and to teach my kids (especially my 2 daughters) the art of being crafty!
I hope to start walking regularly again and spend more time with my family just doing fun things. Happy New Year to you!
My New Year’s resolution is to make more time for the crafts I love to do and to send out more cards to the people I love.
My New Years resolution is to make many more cards and make them ahead of time to have on hand.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to win the wonderful prizes.
Happy New Year to you and yours.
Dee
I’m new to your blog but I though I’d play along if you don’t mind…
My New Year’s resolution this year is simple – Stop worrying about the little stuff and put more focus on the big things. For example- No need to have a spotless home constantly if it is taking away from my amazing family in the process…
I make them and within hours I’m already breaking them. But I do want to get in shape this next year…So we will see how that goes now that I have finished off all the goodies in the house since I am PMSING. So no more temptation. Have a great New Years!!1
My New Year’s resolution is to start using more of my embellishments. I purchase things then hate to use them up.
My New Year’s resolution is to spend more time with family and friends, lose a few pounds and to make beautiful items with my stamps. Happy New Year!!!!
My resolution is to not sweat the small stuff so much!

My New Years resolution will be the same as last years…..to not be late mailing any bday cards or packages this year! Last year I made it all the way til summer, then I began to fail miserably! I want to finish the year good this time!
Mary-
What a terrific idea! My New Year’s Resolution is to take better care of me. I find that I am too busy to do that while I am taking care of so many others. This is one resolution I plan to keep. Have a great day!
Kristina
Hi Mary-Love your blog, I check it almost daily and find you are a creative inspiration to me! My NYR is to keep my stamp room more organized and to stamp more in the New year!
Love your creations! Thanks for the chance to win–my resolution this year is to THINK before I BUY! To think realistically and to be smart about what stamp sets, accessories and other accoutrements I am contemplating buying–do I need it? Do I just want it? Will I be able to use it for many applications (as a demonstrator) or is it just something that I think I have to have because I’ve seen some really cute project made with it that I probably won’t do myself??? I hope I am not sounding depressing, but $$$-savvy! To make my supplies work for me! Okay, I’m done now. 😀
LeAnne
I’m praying that I will be more appreciative DAILY of the blessings God has lavished in my life, to not long for what I do not have, to acknowledge that life is good EVERY day!
Mary,
My new year’s resolution has been said before ‘live like there’s no tomorrow, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no ones watching.’ I’m not quite sure who wrote it or if it’s correctly stated but I think it simply says to live each day to the fullest, with a light heart, and never, NEVER let people guess how much you love them. The weight will come off, the house will get as clean as it needs to be and everything else will fall into place because the degree of stress will be minimal.
My New Year’s Resolution is to stamp, stamp, stamp!! Miss Mary, you’re an inspiration to so many and I love your blog. I feel like we’re best friends and I visit you almost daily! Thanks for being there and I wish you all the best in 2009!
I wish you happy holidays. My resolution for this new year is to break every resolution I make. phew!!!
thanks for a chance to win.
Blessings,
Beth F
