I can’t believe the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog is winding down (ends June 1) as we await the new Stampin’ Up! 2014-2015 Annual Catalog (starts June 2). There are still a few stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog I need to “get inky” with, including the Cool Kid stamp set. These images are so perfect for Samuel’s (my little grand nephew) birthday card!
My color inspiration is from this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA203).
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- After a little paper snipping, my superhero canine friend was wearing a Cajun Craze cape and boots!
- The Stampin’ Up! Word Bubbles Framelits Dies work with so many sentiments. Since most of the stamp images in Stampin’ Up! catalogs are true to size, you can layer the framelits over them in the catalog to see if the sentiment fits! This really opens up the possibilities.
- I allowed a peek of Cajun Craze below the focal point by adding the tiny scallop border (Stampin’ Up! Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch).
- The 3/4″ Circle Punch quickly popped out the circles for a “LEGO-licious” tone on tone effect! Fun!
