A quick sunday post today that focuses on a trio of beautiful cards. Each was created for the Stampin' Pretty Pals swap at the Stampin' Up! Convention last month. These three women really know how to make your mouth drop in Wisteria Wonder! I'm so proud to have them as part of my group.

Simply gorgeous!! I love all you do!!
They did take a long time. It will be a while before I ever make another one. 🙂 The drying time is the longest part though- lots of glue is used.
Details for my flower can be found on my blog at

Mary,
Could you please share with all of us the directions for making the first two card’s flowers? I, for one, would very much appreciate the directions!
Darlene
Love the Wisteria Wonder card! So very cute and creative!
Thanks so much. The card is just beautiful. Looks like it took a long time!
Thanks Kristen for responding to my S.O.S. for help on this . . . all due to the popularity of your card! Hugs, M
These are BEAAUTIFUL! Thank you so much for sharing your team’s art!
How to make the Hydrangea Flower
Step 1. Punch 6 circles in graduated sizes. My largest is 1 3/4″ and the smallest is ??.
Step 2. Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the back of the circles and layer from largest to smallest on top to create the hydrangea base.
Step 3. Punch out a bunch of the four petal punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. When you think you have enough go ahead and punch out several more because you will need more than you think. (I think I used about 125 per Hydrangea)
Step 4. Place the itty bitty punched petals on paper piercing mat and push down in the center of each itty bitty punched petal with a stylus to curl the edges of the punched petals up.
Step 5. You are ready to start applying your itty bitty punched petals. Apply a generous amount of Multi Purpose Liquid Glue over the top layer and spread to the edges. Use plenty of glue. Pick up each itty bitty punched petal with the point of the paper piercer and apply right in the very center of the top layer of the hydrangea base. Continue adding itty bitty punched petals around the center hydrangea base until you have covered the layer. Make sure you squish them in close together even if you are over lapping the itty bitty punched petals.
Step 6. Apply a layer of multi purpose liquid glue around the second layer. Apply more itty bitty punched petals to the second layer remembering to place them close enough not to show any of the base. Continue the steps until you have covered your whole hydrangea base. The last layer will require a double layer of punched petals to cover the edges.
Step 7. Add some leaves of your choice to the hydrangea and then spray your hydrangea with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz for some extra sparkle and then create a wonderful project using your pretty hydrangea.
I am especially drawn to #1 and #2. Id have to guess the flowers were maybe glued to a Sweet Treat cup (Stampin’ Up)? I love it! Going to try my version now! But Id love to know what you dd?! Thanks for all the samples! They are gorgeous, all three! Thanks for the reminder to think outside the box;)
Some “Pretty” talented stampers in your group! Beautiful job ladies!
All three cards are great! It is fun seeing three very different cards =I am always amazed at others creativity!
Mary, these cards are really gorgeous! The first flower looks extremely detailed…how was it done? Also I love the pink and wisteria combo of the 2nd card and the 3rd is so original! TFS !
Hi Mary:
Had to check out these beautiful cards before Irene hit here. Lots of rain, wind not too bad yet. I too would love to know how the flower on that first card was made. Absolutely beautiful.
The first two cards are beautiful. . .fun ideas for sure. The third one is great. I just love how people think outside and box and are able to create such masterpieces. Thanks for sharing!
Love them all. As always, thanks for sharing. Love the first flower too! Awesome ideas, always.
Can you please share how the 2 flowers were made, especially the first one?? Thank you!
