EASY PEASY! The painted scene on the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper creates the perfect background and does the work or you.  Add an element, along with the sentiment of your choice for a quick and easy card.

Peaceful Poppies Suite from Stampin' Up! 2020 Mini Catalog. Cards by Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty Simple Saturday CardSTAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Whisper White Thick card stock. 

Adhere a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to the card base with Snail Adhesive.

Use the Stampin’ Up! Painted Labels Dies and a die-cutting and embossing machine to crop the following:

  • Swirly Label – Vellum card stock
  • Medallion Label – Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper
  • Sentiment Label (smaller) – Whisper White card stock

Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment (Peaceful Moments) in Poppy Parade Classic Ink onto the sentiment label die-cut.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Medium Whisper White Envelope. Trim to size with Paper Snips.  You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.

  2. Hi Mary, this showcase is the #1 suite on my list as of now!!! Thanks for the good ideas. ( I have already counted the weeks until Spring – there are thirteen!! ) This paper is gorgeous. The colors fabulous. So nice to see flowers again.

  3. Absolutely beautiful cards. That DSP is going to be a go-to for many of us. Love how the suite has a sentiment stamp and an image stamp and dies to transcend them both. Great projects as always, Mary!
