Create a simple birthday card with Birthday Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper - Mary Fish cake idea

It’s Day 3 of my Broadway Birthday Bonanza featuring the Stampin’ Up! Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper!  So many creative  possibilities for this paper even when you use the same sketch (as I have for the past 3 days)!  I love the “you deserve it” sentiment with those chic and modern cakes on today’s card!  You can see Day 1 here and Day 2 here.

  2. What I really, really like about this card–firstly how fresh and cute it looks. Secondly that the front’s color came only from DSP. I like tips on how to use DSP more.

    • I hear you . . . I often end up with extra designer series paper. It makes such a statement and is perfect for mass producing cards to have on hand. It’s also fabulous for adding an envelope liner!

  3. Another winner. The colors are exciting, happy and full of energy. That makes this a wonderful card for any age group. On another note I am glad that your posts contain such nice photos so that I can really see the content. I don’t know if you used the hat die on the candle or used the hat paper; however, I still know that you are a genius! TFS

    • Thanks so much, Juanita. Photos can be a challenge, especially the lighting at different times of the day. Glad you enjoy them. The interior candle was stamped and then cropped with the flame and candle dies.
