CANDY CANE DUO! This duo of Christmas projects shows how you can decorate both a card and an Envelope Treat Box with a 12 inch strip of Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper.

Create this Christmas Card using the Sweetest Christmas Suite Collection from Stampin' Up! Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Basic White Thick card stock.

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Garden Green Classic Ink onto a  4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White card stock, about 1 1/2″ down and 1/4″ from the side as shown. 

Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut the following piece of Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper with a Paper Trimmer: 

  • Polka Dot: 2 3/4 x 12
  • Striped: 2 1/4 x 12

Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut on the 12″ side at 4″.  Set the longer piece aside for the Envelope Box. 

Adhere to the card base as shown with Stampin’ Seal.

Create this Christmas Card with the Sweetest Christmas Suite Collection from Stampin' Up! Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the candy canes in Real Red Classic Ink  and the foliage in Garden Green Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White card stock.  

Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Candy Canes Dies.  

Crop another piece of Basic White card stock with Candy Cane die. 

Adhere all pieces together as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wrap with Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon as shown, securing with a bow. 

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

POP OF PERSONALITY!  Embellish with Sweet Sorbet Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins.

Create this Christmas Gift Card Holder using the Sweetest Christmas Suite Collection from Stampin' Up! Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

Assemble an Envelope Treat Box. 

Wrap with the 2 3/4 x 8 piece of Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper (set aside from the card), adhering together (they overlap) with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the  sentiment and the foliage in Garden Green Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White card stock.  

Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Candy Canes foliage die and the Celebrations Tag circle die. 

Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Double wrap with Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine, securing with a bow. 

POP OF PERSONALITY!  Embellish with Sweet Sorbet Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins.

  3. Hi Mary! this has nothing to do with this project; but I was curious in the New Mini Catalog July- December 2022 on page 21; Handmade Wishes Bundle there is a card that says Happy Christmas. Do you know where that background paper comes from??? I really like it but can’t find it anywhere? Thanks! Ant help would be appreciated.

  4. I love the mix of striped papers, as well as the perfect sentiment for the card. The box is adorable. Love the idea of putting a piece of DSP at the bottom of the box.
