how to cut your cardstock & dimensions:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Basic Gray Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Flirty Flamingo Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 5/8 x 4 7/8
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Stamped & Die-Cut Layer – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Stamped Sentiment – 2 1/4 x 3/4
- Basic Gray Neutrals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper:
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 (before snipping)
how to make this simple card:
Burnish the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Basic Gray layer to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to stamp the floral image (Spotlight on Nature stamp set) in Basic Gray Classic Ink onto the Basic White layer. Watch my 1 Minute to WOW video: The Magic of the Mini MISTI for a quick demonstration here.
Use light flicks of light and dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to color base of flowers.
Zip through a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop the decorative edge circle (2 1/4 Spotlight on Nature die) from the stamped image as shown.
Layer and adhere the stamped Basic White and Flirty Flamingo layers together and to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the cropped circle die-cut as shown with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow of black Baker’s Twine Essentials and adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots.
Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to stamp the sentiment (Spotlight on Nature stamp set) in Basic Gray Classic Ink onto the 2 1/4 x 3/4 Basic White layer.
Adhere the sentiment as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish as shown with 3 Flirty Flamingo Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add glue to the flap. Flip to the inside of the flap and carefully snip away the excess with Paper Snips. Watch my 1 Minute to WOW Video Tutorial to learn how here.
