CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Night of Navy Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Layer – 2 1/2 x 4
- Die-cut Flower – 3 x 4 (before die-cutting)
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Die-Cut Sentiment – 2 3/4 x 1 1/4 (before die-cutting)
- Misty Moonlight Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 2 3/4
- Real Red Card Stock:
- Die-Cut Heart – scraps
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Night of Navy card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Misty Moonlight layer to the large Basic White layer together and to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the Night of Navy layer to the center of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block E to stamp the zinnia flowers (Simply Zinnia Stamp Set) in White Craft Stampin’ Ink onto the Night of Navy layer. TIP: See My Stampin’ Pretty 1 Minute to WOW Video here.
Let the White Craft Stampin’ Ink dry completely or use a Heat Tool on the low setting to speed up the drying process.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop with the coordinating Simply Zinnia die, secured in place with Post-It Tape.
Adhere to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block C to stamp the sentiment (Simply Zinnia Stamp Set) in Night of Navy Classic Ink onto the Basic White layer.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the 2 1/4 x 7/8 Tailor Made Tags die.
Thread white Baker’s Twine Essentials through the tag hole, securing with a bow.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop the Real Red card stock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the Thoughtful Moments heart die.
Adhere to the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with 3 large Night of Navy Ombre Matte Decorative Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Center and line up the Basic Borders angled edge die onto the Medium White Envelope flap, tape to secure (Post-It Tape) and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard). Watch my Pretty Envelope Flap WOW! video for a quick demonstration here.
