My mantra for quick cards is “just add DSP” (Designer Series Paper)! Gorgeous spring patterns like this one from Stampin’ Up! Sunny Days Designer Series Paper do most of “the work.”

2 MINUTE TECHNIQUE TIP! I’m enamored with how the Stampin’ Up! Basic Borders Dies reshape my envelope flaps. As a matter of fact, you are going to see a lot of envies reshaped with these dies because it’s such a chic way to “style up” and make an “impression” before the coordinating card inside is even seen!

NEED COLOR INSPIRATION? The color combination for today’s card used one of the 5 Sunny Days Designer Series Paper Color Combinations that I shared on Tuesday! You can see my Color Combination library here.

PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Layer and adhere the Designer Series Paper, Basic Black and Poppy Parade layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Wrap all three layers with black Baker’s Twine Essentials, securing with a bow.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a Clear Block C to stamp the sentiment (Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Basic White piece.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the Nested Essentials 1 5/8 x 1 rounded rectangle die.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add glue to the flap, not the DSP. Center, line up and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Basic Borders curved edge die.
