Today’s Happy Birthday card features a pop of colorful circles quickly created by zipping the Picture This dies through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard)!
WHAT I LOVE ! The Picture This die offers a plethora of possibilities (I adore that alliteration) for color combinations. Red, White and Blue on the 4th of July? An ombre of reds and pinks for Valentine’s Day? Kiss. Kiss.
NEED COLOR INSPIRATION? The colors used on this card are based on the color combination shown below, one of five that I shared on Tuesday’s post.

PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Gorgeous Grape layer to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.
Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Picture This circle die:
- Crumb Cake, Gorgeous Grape, Gold Foil and Early Espresso Layers
- TIP! Save all those extra die-cut circles and layers for future projects!
Adhere a slightly smaller Crumb Cake Layer behind the Crumb Cake die-cut layer with Stampin’ Seal. This makes adhering the circles a snap.
Adhere the die-cut circles as shown with Stampin’ Seal.
Double wrap with gold Simply Elegant Trim and secure with a bow as shown.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink onto the Very Vanilla layer.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Picture This rectangle die.
Adhere the sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots.
