Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “CASE the Catalog” so the Design Team chose a card from the new Annual Catalog and has CASEd it with their own creative twist. We really hope that you are inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are showcasing today! As you hop from blog to blog, please share some love by leaving a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
CASE: “Copy” means “allow yourself to be influenced by” another paper crafter’s project. CASE-ing is a great way to be inspired! Focus on an aspect of a creation (sketch, colors, images) that you absolutely love and use it to spin something of your own. My card was inspired by the card on page 16 of the 2022-2023 Annual catalog.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Basic White Thick card stock.
Adhere a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the floral images in Starry Sky and Gray Granite Classic Ink onto a 3 x 4 3/4 piece of Basic White card stock as shown.
Use the Vintage Bottle Punch to crop directly below the flower bouquet.
Adhere the Vintage Bottle Shaker Dome to the backside of the negative bottle space.
Fill the bottle 1/2 full of Effervescent Elements.
Remove the adhesive backing from the Vintage Bottle Shaker Dome and cover with a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 piece of Basic White card stock.
Adhere to a 3 1/8 x 4 7/8 piece of Basic White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Zip a 3 x 5/8 piece of Gray Granite card stock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.
Lay the cropped bottle over the top of the brick piece and trace the bottom. Use Paper Snips to cut on the traced line. Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Starry Sky Classic Ink onto a piece of Gray Granite card stock that is 3/4 wide and flagged with the Banners Pick a Punch to 1 1/4 long.
Tie a bow of Starry Sky 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Adhere to the bottle with a Mini Glue Dot.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with Pearl Basic Jewels.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of Starry Sky In Color Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on July 13th. Our theme will be “Create Your Own Background” when our Design Team creates a background using any technique they wish, such as stencils, stamping, watercolor, embossing but not DSP.
Until then, have fun in your craft space!
