We go back and forth on real trees vs. artificial. Bit I like to leave fake trees up til Easter!
I can see so many possibilities with this set!
Unfortunately artificial since my daughter is allergic to the real trees?
Looks like a beautiful stamp and die set; ready to make some spring floral cards!
We have an artificial tree. Our real trees are too expensive for us to purchase. But we do have pine trees in our yard to give us live greenery. Thanks for the chance at your wonderful giveaway.
We put up an artificial tree as it is easier, but have good memories of cutting a tree each year with the kids. They had planted the trees in younger years. Good Memories. Love the smell of a fresh evergreen.
artificial….we are surrounded with real pines outside. so choose the easy way inaside.
We decorate an artificial tree instead of a real evergreen due to allergies in the family. We love Christmas!
I decorate an artificial tree only because we have a real small space to place it. Love the smell a real tree gives the house for the holidays.
Our main tree is a live tree, and we have several artificial trees in other areas of our house. Thank you for this generous giveaway. Happy New Year to you & your family
We have always had live trees. This is the first year I’ve had an artificial tree. My husband of 50 years died unexpectedly earlier this year. I was simply not up to getting and decorating a live tree. Missed the fragrance but not the nettle mess.
Live
I LOVE a real tree!!! However, as I’ve gotten older, It’s become more difficult to get it in the house and clean up afterwards. I’ll take an artificial tree over no tree at all! LOL
we have an artifical tree but it has gotten old that it sheds and the last 2 Christmases we haven’t put it up. last year with covid and no family coming home for Christmas and this year we celebrated Christmas in November and so didn’t put tree up this year either. looking forward to a more normal year next year with a tree
Mary, I hope you had a wonderful & merry Christmas. Thank you for all the inspiration you provide so generously each day. Your blog is a daily stop for me.
Artificial tree! Oops
I love that stamp and die set! Merry Christmas and thanks for all your wonderful card ideas!!
I love that stamp and die set! Merry Christmas and thanks for are your wonderful card ideas!!
A real tree until this year, so a “Charlie Brown” tree he got, it went with our warm weather in Texas!??♀️??♀️?Happy New Year Mary..
I have an 8 foot artificial pencil tree. Living in an apartment affords a small area for additional decorations. My tree holds all of the many ornaments that I’ve collected, or made, over 50+ years. I always enjoy seeing each ornament and as I place them on the branches I reflect on where it came from and who gave it to me.
A real tree! The smell of the fresh tree as we decorate it is one of my favorite things.
Definitely a real tree! We drive to a tree farm & cut one down every year that we’ve been married. Love the smell of the tree once we bring it into the house!
Merry Christmas Mary! We enjoyed our Christmas with a real Christmas tree.
Artificial tree. With all the ornaments my mom made.
We have a little tree with colorful lights and lots of fruit (artificial ),garlands of glass cranberry , we enjoy “her” very much
Merry Christmas! We have an artificial tree at our house. Growing up, we had a few Christmases with a real tree that Dad would plant afterward in the yard. There is still one standing in the front yard of my parents home after all the years!!
I decorate with an artificial tree. It allows me to keep it up for a longer time to enjoy. Merry Christmas!
We have an artificial tree that we bought in 2020. It’s beautiful and has 1000s of lights.
We decorate an artificial tree. Thirty-eight years ago my husband injured his eye when he removed our real tree from the car. Ever since, it has been an artificial tree.
I buy so much and keep saying to my self “no you have enough flowers and new products are coming out soon.” However my eyes gravitate to this set every time I see a stamp made with it.
Our tree is artificial, mainly because my husband and I probably wouldn’t be able to remember to give a real tree enough water to keep it from turning brown before Christmas.
We use an artificial tree now but miss the fun of searching and buying and putting up a real tree
Thanks so much for the chance to win the Nature’s Harvest bundle!
What a great giveaway!!!
I really enjoy having a real tree. The smell you enjoy when you walk into the room. The beautiful look of nature when you sit and stare at it. A real tree is just so beautiful!
Artificial – but often (when I can find it in the stores) I hang the old fashioned tinsel on it so it looks so very real.
Artificial
A a youngster my family had an artificial tree, but now in my grown-up home we always have a real tree. It smells wonderful!
I thought your blue and white card made from this stamp set was stunning in beauty and elegance.
Due to allergies, I put up 2 artificial trees. One in the living room, which my husband affectionately refers to as the “show” tree. The other in the family room, where we gather to open gifts, which has all our family and travel ornaments.
I love a real tree but use a artificial one because if allergies. I also put up two 7 1/2 foot trees and a table top one which I leave up all year round and decorate for the seasons.
I do 2 artificial trees ! one in my living room – small white tree and our main one big green one in family room!
thanks for the chance to win
We now have a ceramic tree my mother in law made years ago. It brings back good heartfelt memories of her when we set it up. She would have it set up every year. She had made one for our family years ago but it was lost in Hurricane Andrew. I cried when her tree was given to me. We will keep the family tradition going. Happy Holidays and thank you for the wonderful card ideas you always share.
As a geologist/environmental scientist, I have to favor artificial trees in order to preserve the important role live trees play in the lifecycle of our planet- and the human race! Also, artificial trees are easier to set up and decorate, leaving time for family, food, and stamping Christmas cards!
Your post always inspire me. And I love the Sunday sharing of your post from other demonstrators.
Artificial with a scent disc for a nice smell. We switched when we built our house and went with hardwood flooring. No water spills, needles, or sap or critters.
Since we leave for the winter on Dec 26 I only put up 2 small artificial trees. Our 1st year going south we came back to our fully decorated home – then decided that taking down Christmas decorations in April wasn’t fun?
Merry Christmas Mary and thank you for another year of sharing you and your Teams unique talents. Our little ceramic tree serves for u. The old artificial one went to recycle land this year and we haven’t replaced it! Missed digging through the ornament collection; but there’s always next year!
Thank you for the opportunity to win, and for all your inspiration throughout the year! I love my artificial tree! I can put it up right after Thanksgiving and leave it until the first week of January and not have to worry about it shedding needles or catching on fire!
For many years on Thanksgiving weekend, I decorated a 6 foot artificial tree with Hallmark ornaments. The second weekend in December I would host a holiday party for family and friends. Now that many family members and friends live far away or are deceased, I decorate a ceramic tree with miniature Hallmark ornaments and remember the joyful times we celebrated together.
We use an artificial tree each year due to allergies.
We have an artificial tree as the kids are all gone and it is much easier. I remember the smell of a real tree from my childhood though.
Merry Christmas Mary.
We have an artificial tree. We live where the winters are cold and burn wood, so a real tree would dry out too quickly and be dangerous. I do not have that bundle and have seen it on so many Pinterest sites. Thanks for the chance to win. I hope you had a merry Christmas with your family.
I love to decorate for Christmas early and that includes the Christmas tree. So it’s artificial for me!
We have an artificial tree. Would love the smell of a real tree but it’s less hassle with the artificial tree.
Artificial is our tree. Would love the smell of a real tree but just too much work.
We have an artificial tree— a lot fewer hassles that way!!
Love ALL my SU stamps. Been a fan since 2001. This would make a wonderful addition. Your posts are great incentive to me. Thank you! Happy New Year To You and Yours!
Artificial. Still looks good after all these years with some fluffing of branches and adding decorations. It’s covered with ornaments that are sweet memories of our children, places we’ve visited and friends.
Merry Christmas!
We have to have an artificial tree because of allergies. However, with just a glance outdoors we can enjoy the pine trees for the holiday.
As long as we can all gather, whichever tree is chosen, it makes this season merry!
Some years we are with our daughter in Florida and with 3 investigating cats, it has to be an artificial tree!
My husband has cut down a noble fir tree from a local tree farm for 50 years – until this year. My daughter sent us a prewired artificial tree as a surprise, and I have to admit that it is beautiful and much quicker to set up.
We have an artificial tree but we do go tree hunting every year with friends that put up a real tree just because we love the experience and the memories. We take their tree home on our car for them after we stop for a bite to eat. We used to put up a real tree but i like to leave it up for a long time and dislike vacuuming up pine needles in July. LOL
Definitely artificial! No mess!
I decorated an artificial tree this year, and had a small gathering for Christmas Cheer.
Merry Christmas! We have an artificial tree and it takes my husband quite a while to put it together branch by branch. Its pretty though but miss the smell of a real tree.
Artificial tree that is small.
Merry Christmas Mary. We have 3 artificial trees. Years ago we had real live trees.
Love your card and the stamps and dues that helped to create it! So talented!
We have had artificial trees for the past 20 plus years. Ever since our last real tree fell over at midnight on Christmas Day and we had to pick it up along with the mess and some broken ornaments. We went to Menards first thing the next morning on the 26th and bought an artificial tree at 50% off already assembled. Took it home and decorated it that day so we would have a tree for the remainder of the holiday season.
Mary, we decorate with artificial trees because we have 2 cats and
one once climbed a tree in our back yard and had to be rescued.
I am afraid they might attempt to try to climb the Christmas Tree,
so my husband and I opt for artificial.
Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us. I LOVE all of
card tutorials.
We always had a real tree, until one year, our allergies caused us to have to move our tree outdoors. Now, we have an artificial tree! I can say, I do enjoy having the lights already on the tree when we set it up.. ? Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Since there is only my husband and me for Christmas we do an small artificial tree, but when our family is here it is a larger artificial tree and lots of decorations. Don’t wont’ to forget why there is a Christmas.
Thanks for all your great and cleaver ideas.
Thank you so much for all the tutorials. I wish I could win. Would even pay the difference for shipping to ??. But good luck and merry Christmas everyone. Happy stamping
5 artificial trees each with a theme
I prefer to see and smell live trees outdoors and artificial trees indoors. Outdoor trees can be decorated and enjoyed by many. Merry Christmas and thanks for a chance to win the wonderful Nature’s Harvest bundle.
We have a beautiful artificial tree, decorated with sentimental ornaments collected from friends, family, travels, or handmade by our children.
Artificial. We love to decorate for the holidays and it’s nice to have the tree ready to go when we are ready. Merry Christmas!
We now decorate an artificial tree, but it used to always be a real tree. As the years have passed, so has my energy for the decorating. DH doesn’t even care any more if we have one up. So I put it up anyway and it always cheers him up.
While I love the smell of a real tree, I went with an artificial one a few years ago. It is still festive and so easy to decorate and set up.
Artificial…… I stopped picking up pine needles in June many years ago! I use every green room spray so it still smells like Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!
I have a 9 foot artificial tree, and enough ornaments to decorate it.
Artificial! Pre-lit! The only way to go! I’ve had live trees ? in the past but too much to take down and dispose of.
Used have tal tree growing up and when my kids were small now I have artificial one because it is easier.. looks real.Hope your Christmas was special.
Merry Christmas. Thank you for the detailed tutorials. They are so helpful.
We have an artificial tree and it’s a new tree for us this year. Turned out just beautiful!
We decorate an artificial tree but it’s a beautiful one. No dry needles to make a mess! We can leave it up longer. Merry Christmas Mary!
Artificial, due to tree allergies! 🙁
Growing up I remember my father going into the woods and bringing back a tree for our Christmas celebration. We made paper chains, and we made a popcorn string for garland. Great trees!
Definitely artificial! I’m allergic to pine so I’ll stick to the fake ones!
As a child and adult, it is always a real tree. I love the look and smell of a real tree. Merry Christmas!
We always had a live tree but several years ago we purchased our first artificial tree and we prefer the safety of the artificial tree to keep it up longer.
Artificial with all ornaments we collected when my son was growing up. Mostly handmade ones.
We decorate an artificial tree. Years ago when the kids were small we always went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in another state. We weren’t going to be able to keep a live tree from drying out while we were gone. It was too much work to decorate a real tree and then take it all down before we left on vacation. So we have had artificial trees ever since.
For many years growing up and about 30 years into our marriage it was always a live tree. Now that we are older, it’s so much easier to just bring the tree down into the basement, cover it up and wait till next year to bring it back upstairs and decorate all over again. Ah, the simple pleasures in life~
I love my 9.5 foot tall artificial tree. I put on most of the ornaments I have collected over the 42 years I have been married. I also put up an artificial tree in my kitchen with kitchen ornaments. Love looking at my trees during the holidays. I usually leave the kitchen one up extra time.
We have a very large artificial tree with white ornaments and cardinals in memory of our daughter who passed away 5 1/2 years ago.
Definitely artificial. I’m severely allergic to evergreens.
Artificial tree with a few sprigs of real tucked in. That way I can enjoy the scent of a real tree without all the hassle of remembering to water the tree.
We have to do artificial tree. We used to do a real tree they seem to be to much trouble as I get older.
we have an artificial tree because we are getting older and its easier for us to have and decorate

I decorate an artificial tree. I love the way they look!
Love real trees , but we fave a step ladder tree!
We have an artificial pencil tree in one room and a real tree in another. You can’t beat the smell of the real tree. When Christmas is over we put it outside for the birds with some peanut butter and birdseed pinecones on it. Our pencil tree has all our 3 kids ornaments on it that they made through out the years. Our oldest is 47 so that’s a lot of ornaments. Merry Christmas.
Real tree for sure! Merry Christmas!
WE decorate an artificial one since I am allergic to the real one. You have to put each branch on separately. We bought it 20 years ago and it is still in great shape. Looks so real Everybody thinks it is. I have a mild pine scent that I put in room to maker it even more real.
I decorate an artificial tree. Every time I bought a real tree it dried out. So for the past 35 years it’s been artificial. I love them just like a real one . MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I love a real tree, but for inside it has to be artificial.
I love a real tree, but for inside my house it has to be artificial.
Nowadays, we have a silver tinsel tree in the family room and an artificial green tree in the living room. We cut down real trees when the kiddos were little!
Our Christmas tree is now artificial after decades of decorating a tree cut from a commercial forest. I do miss the scent of fresh pine, but not the chore of removing needles from the carpet…
Hope your holiday was merry and bright! Thanks for the chance to win a wonderful bundlr.
Merry Christmas! We have a real tree as our main tree and we have a little artificial tree in our dining room for just “kitchen” ornaments. 🙂
Merry Christmas, Mary! Our Christmas tree has to be artificial since fifteen years ago I became allergic to the real ones we always had. It’s still festively decorated with Hallmark ornaments we’ve collected over forty-one years. We rotate themes from year to year because we have so many. It’s a fun tradition and now the grandchildren love it too.
Merry Christmas! Inside TREES are artificial, outside trees are of course…….real!!!!

Thank you for offering this give away!
Merry Christmas!
I love the smell of a fresh spruce tree but unfortunately my allergies do not. So it is an artificial one now for me!
Both, I love Christmas.
I purchased a beautiful pre-lit artificial tree 14 years ago, and I can have it up for 6 weeks without worry or fuss. I do miss the smell of a real tree, but Thymes Fraiser Fir scent helps to serve as a substitute.
An artificial tree that can stay up for many days!
Merry Christmas!
What a wonderful prize that set is! Merry Christmas to you.
Artificial tree. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
We Do a faux tree… but I’m ready to go back to a small real one. I miss the smell. Merry Christmas!

It’s always an artificial tree for us! Thank you for a year of inspiration and the many opportunities for some great candy!
What a beautiful set! Thanks for sharing with us!D
I love your posts and look forward to your email each day. Thanks.
Well, we have had an artificial tree for a few years now. My husband used to grow Frazier Firs organically, but became allergic to them. We can no longer have a fresh tree!?But it is not about the tree , although there can be symbolic meaning to all the elements of the tree. We are blessed regardless. The 26 th is my birthday and today was my son-in-law’s birthday. Thank you Mary for your generosity. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours.
It has to be artificial now following problems with real trees, unfortunately.
I love the cards made with the beautiful Nature’s Harvest Bundle. I think the blue is stunning. I love your cards
We had real trees the whole time the children were at home. Now it is artificial. I do have fresh boughs in the house the the lovely pine fragrance.
Real in pot ready for early spring planting in deep well covered hole is the tree for me. Thank you for asking. Such a rebuild attitude in this drought stricken part of Montana!
Mine is artificial and it’s decorated in Dallas Cowboys theme with a heart for my brother that passed away in August of this year. I actually leave it up all year and use it for lights for my dogs.
I would love a real tree, but my daughter is allergic, so I really over decorate an artificial one!
Artificial. So much easier, not as fragrant though.
I love going to a tree farm and cutting down our tree each year.
Artificial trees work for us. We choose to save the environment for generations to come.
Merry Christmas
We’ve always had a real tree. This year we bought an artificial one and had to take it down after only a few days because our kitten was destroying it. LOL.
Sometimes real, sometimes artificial. This year, artificial, but it looks great!
We decorate a real tree. Love the smell!
Artificial- I love trees and can’t stand to see a real one slowly die after being cut.
Merry Christmas, Mary! Because we have pets in the house, we have an artificial tree. It’s just easier.

Merry Christmas. We have a Artificial tree, I love them because I can have a few small ones and not worry about a fire.
We have an artificial but had a real one for years. I miss it but this is easier. Love this bundle!
Since I’m a tree hugger I have an old and sad, Charlie Brown looking artificial tree. I love the challenge of making it “happy” each Christmas with the decorating help of my grandchildren.
Merry Christmas, Mary!! I love your designs!!
Artificial when we do decorate a tree. Never had a real one.
Artificial. So much safer, it can go up earlier and stay through Epiphany.
Artificial…but more importantly, because it was my Mom’s tree. Since she has passed, I am so blessed to have her tree in my home. Magical Christmas memories.
So many beautiful cards are possible with this set! It can be used for any and all occasions.
We chose to put up a real tree as we love the smell which ties us to friends and family who are no longer with us.
Artificial with loads of snowman ornaments I’ve collected over the years with some hand made by the kids. Love a real tree though.
I love real trees!
Used artificial for years while apartment living, but then bought a house that had a “perfect” Christmas tree corner. Then we bought real trees after that.
My hubs and I haven’t had a real evergreen tree since I moved to AZ to be with him. I’m fine with having artificial as I live vicariously through my daughter who has a real tree in WI AND I get to visit!
We used to buy our tree from the Boy Scout tree lot in our little town. But since we moved, we decided to use an artificial tree now. I miss the smell of pine.
Merry Christmas,,
I love that bundle… I use an artificial tree .. I love real trees but it’s easier for me to use artificial tree since I decorate it myself
I usually decorate a artificial tree which is white one and I change up the colors this year I did all red bulbs. Since the kids have their own family I do it by myself and that’s why I use only I color next year I’ll look for black bulbs that would be different. Your card is beautiful.
I was forced to decorate an artificial tree. I am allergic to real trees. Bummer. I have two themes I rotate – angels or candy canes. I made all the ornaments
.
Actually, both. We decorate several evergreen trees outside plus we use a small artificial one inside. Christmas is a special time of year and we so do enjoy it. Lovely stamp set! Thank you for a chance to win it.
We do both. I have a beautiful flocked white christmas tree that looks so real.
This year we put up a real tree, nothing like the smell of a fresh cut fir tree.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a Beautiful Stampin Up product.
Real or artificial tree? Neither. We always had a real tree, but they lost their charm the year a sac of spider eggs hatched in the decorated tree in the living room. Yes, the sheen of the web the little rascals spun all over the tree was very festive, but it had to go. I have decorations, but no more trees.
We do an artificial tree as I like to keep it up past Christmas. It also does not drop needles as much. Just miss the smell but diffusing pine scented oils works well. Thanks for the chance to win the bundle. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Mary! I like the looks and scent of a real tree, but I put up an artificial one. That way I can keep it up longer.❤️
Merry Christmas? Since I have big dogs, I decorate two table top artificial trees. One has ornaments my mom has crocheted.

We decorate an artificial tree. We travel on Christmas to be with my brothers.
I use an artificial tree. So much more convenient for me and I like the consistency of it!

I have had an artificial tree because of allergies. I do love the smell of a real tree. Love lots of white lights on my tree and ornaments from each family across the years and now my grand children.
It takes a while to decorate the tree and I want to feel relaxed and have fun…the artificial trees with lights on them already makes the decorating fun!
I love this bundle!
This year the only Christmas Tree we have is made of fussed glass. A local Artist made it. My regular Christmas tree is fake but in our shed.
I have been sick with COVID for the last 2 weeks. Only health for my family is the priority.( We received both of our shots and still got it) Have watched every Christmas Hallmark movie.
Merry Christmas.
This year we decorated an artificial tree. I prefer a real tree as there is nothing like the pine smell you get when you walk into a room with a real tree. The weather just didn’t cooperate this year so cutting down a fresh tree will have to wait until next year.
Merry Christmas ? we have two artificial trees each year. Although I love real trees, artificial works for us!
I love your cards and the beautiful simplicity of each card!
In my younger days I always had real trees – using my children’s creations and other special Ornaments We as a family collected. in the states we were stationed. (AF)…. Now I no longer put up a tree… the last artificial tree was ten years ago. Now I just put out my Christmas decorations:)
Real, love the smell.

Merry Christmas to you and all your Loved ones!! We do an artificial tree.
We always decorate a real tree! Always a lot of lights and different colors, but always with favorite, old ornaments!
I have both. Each tree is In a special place in our home and represents special times. This year is especially important as we have lost many friends and family. Holding memories during the holidays brings a bit of peace.
We had a live tree for years. My father-in-law sold them for a few years. But as the kids got older and not around for cutting one down, and the artificial ones looking better, we went artificial a few years ago. No regrets! So much easier!

I always have had a real tree—I love the smell. My cat sits down under the tree like he’s outside again as he is a rescued cat. I think he has memories of living outside. Happy holidays to everyone.
We have a beautiful artificial tree that looks so much like a real one.
BTW: I love real trees. My cat does, too. She climes them. That is why I decorated with DSP Paper.
I hope someone will post a how to for the new tulip dies. They look complicated.
We have an artificial tree with lots of handmade ornaments! Happy stamping in 2022 to all!
Artificial tree has been our tree since moving to sunny Fl. Growing up and living up north only fresh. Both have their advantages and disadvantages
Cannot thank you enough for all your creative ideas I love your blogs!!!!
Wish you health and happiness in the new year
Thank for all the ideas and including all the items used. It makes shopping so much easier. Wishing you all the best in 2022
My husband grew up with a real tree every year; however, we’ve gone with an artificial tree made to look like a real tree. I like the idea of not finding small critter friends hiding in the tree ?.
Beautiful card. I do artificial tree. Love ram trees but it’s a lot to put lights on and then to take off
Great question. I grew up in upstate NY where we would traipse up the mountain in snow up to our knees and cut our own tree and drag it down to the car. Now, I live in WA state and we have an artificial one. My dad passed away in October so this Christmas will definitely have a different feel to it. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!!!
I look forward to your posts and am continually inspired by them. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Merry Christmas
My family gets a real Christmas tree each year. It’s a family tradition that started when my 2 daughters were very young, we would just let them roam the lot and choose a tree together (within reason). They sometimes chose a tree that was too big for our home and had to have them select another one. It was lots of fun watching them running around the tree lot. We have photos documenting the occasions.
We have an artificial tree filled with very special ornaments, mostly bought in Door County, Wisconsin. ❤️
Merry Christmas Mary!
I always want a real tree. I leave it up for a couple of days with no
decorations just to enjoy and then go to work on it. I love the smell.
This is a great bundle. Thanks for the chance to win.
God is good – not just at Christmas – but all through the year! Christmas blessings gs!
We do artificial. We find that a real tree dries out way too fast in our area.
Merry Christmas!
I love a real tree, however find it difficult to think about cutting a tree down for such a short pleasure so have resorted to a artificial and get many years of use from it.
AS SOON AS I SEE ITS A POST OF MARY….ITS CLICKED ON BECAUSE I KNOW I WILL BE INTRODUCED TO DELIGHTFUL CREATIONS. AND YES, I WOULD TRULY VALUE THIS WIN. MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH MANY BLESSINGS.
It’s an artificial tree for us. I am too lazy to go thru the watering and vacuuming every day. Would rather spend my time STAMPING! Merry Christmas Everyone!
Merry Christmas from rainy Gilbert AZ ?
Thanks for the inspiration all year long and the chance thi win!
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Love Stampin Up!
Since I’ve downsized I decorate a 3 foot artificial tree with my favorite handmade ornaments. It is still beautiful and warms my heart. Merry Christmas!
Artificial trees through the house! “Oh so pretty”.
Merry Christmas to everyone.
Love your simple but elegant cards.
Merry Christmas! Love to decorate for the holidays! We have always had a live tree. We like to cut a tree at a tree farm in Wisconsin.
We decorate an artificial tree. While I love the scent of a real tree I believe it’s best not to chop a tree down just to use for a few weeks.
Let’s save those trees! Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Mary!
Artificial tree, but I miss the fragrance that a real one provides. Thanks for offering this great bundle. Happy Holidays!
Artificial because of my age. Real would be fabulous and gives me wonderful memories of my childhood and my kids growing up.
I look forward to your posts everyday!
Xmas cards are lovely and so are the stamp sets. I’d love to see new Chanukah sets. SU basically ignores Chanukah.
We use a prelit artificial tree ! Do miss that natural pine smell- but love the ease of putting up & taking down an artificial one.
We decorate an artificial tree, but I love the smell of a fresh tree, so the mantle decor is fresh!
Real! I love picking out our special tree and smelling it throughout the Christmas season.
We always had a live tree, but as we got older it was too hard to go and cut one. We now have a 7 foot lighted artificial tree. It is so pretty without the ornaments that this year we only put my collection of Christopher Radko’s on it
Merry Christmas to you, love your daily posts
After many years of real, flocked and messy trees we have gone with artificial for the ease of putting up and taking it down. Merry Christmas!
An 18” artificial tree is all the space I have for a tree. I decorate it for all holidays. Christmas is my favorite.
Every year I say “This is the year we get an artificial one; real ones are expensive and the lights are already strung on artificial ones.” But I just can’t do it. I LOVE the smell of real trees.
We decorate a skinny artificial tree. Getting too old to struggle with the beautiful BIG trees.
Thank You so much for the opportunities to win your great blog candy.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Only real Christmas ? trees.
Nothing compares to a fresh cut Christmas tree, especially the aroma. We have now for several years decorated an artificial tree; a memory tree honoring our Son who was killed by a drunk driver 12/19/07. This tragedy has probably taught us most, the reason for the Season. Our lives change but God remains.
Merry Christmas to you and all your Family.
Artificial these days. We used to get a real tree when the kids were little.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas. We decorate an artificial tree…I can’t stand the thought of cutting down a beautiful tree and then throwing it away a couple of weeks later. When all the decorations are on it is just as pretty.
We decorate an artificial tree each year due to allergies. Thankfully, though, you can get artificial trees that are quite beautiful now.
Merry Christmas! I have a small table top tree these days with tiny glass ornaments. I never thought I would go to a small tree but I finally got rid of the 9’ one and this is much easier. I love my tiny tree ♥️?
You are so talented and so generous I have learned a lot from your post
You and Christmas Blessings to you and yours
We opted for a small artificial tree this year, but I miss the smell of a real tree.
Merry Christmas, Mary! I love my artificial tree as it allows me to keep it up for a longer period of time. No needles but, on the downside, no fresh pine smell. Thank goodness for air fresheners!!
Real tree for me!???
Artificial — when my son was a baby, for two Christmases, he spent in the hospital with respiratory problems. We finally figured out he was allergic to the live tree. Never had a real one since!
Real tree for me!???
Real or potted tree that we plant after Christmas! Enjoy the pine smell!
Merry Christmas!
I really like the card you have posted. Cone flowers are one of my favorite flowers. The birds love the seed heads.
Last minute purchase of an Artificial Tree from the Humane Society Thrift Store. Top half won’t light up but at least we supported a charity!
Merry Christmas!
Artificial. Then the dog won’t eat it!? No needles and not having to remember to water it are extra bonuses!
Artificial for the last 2 years.. Real for the previous 48 years of our marriage
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! Here’s to a bright 2022.
Real tree for me!??
Happy Holidays Mary !
We have an artificial tree. We had a real tree when my daughter was very little but we found out the hard way she was allergic.
Fake! No needles!
It was always a real tree while the kids were at home, but now it is an artificial one. Miss the smell of the pine! But still hang all the ornaments we have collected of travels & special homemade ones from family & friends. Merry Christmas to you & your family.
We have always had a real tree for Christmas. In the early years of our marriage we would also get a potted tree which we planted in the yard. Today, those trees that we planted years ago soar over our house.
Great set would be wonderful if I won. Merry Christmas
A real tree or a living tree that we can plant after Christmas. Love the pine scent! Merry Christmas!
Real tree for me. This year we made salt dough ornaments for it. So much fun!
Artificial tree here. When the kids were living at home we did a real tree. Merry Christmas
I decorate a very small artificial tree with paper ornaments made from Stampin Up stamps.
Although I love the look and scent of a real tree, I decorate an artificial tree for Christmas. Setting up a real tree and keeping it watered is too much work. Plus I think it is better for the environment to let the real trees keep growing.
Real, I love the smell.
Love those kind of flowers (cone flower, I believe they are called; at least that’s what I call them).
We decorate an artificial tree due to allergies to pine.
Artificial (unfortunately, I’m allergic to pine trees). Thank you for the nice giveaway. Hope you’re having a wonderful Christmas Day!
Thank you for all your great card ideas! And…I have an artificial, pre-lighted Christmas Tree…so easy for an older lady!
Would love to win this!
Merry Christmas!
Both types of trees have their benefits, I have often set up an artificial tree because it is economical and I can set it up early in the season. This year, I purchased a Noble Fir and am enjoying the glorious fragrance of a real tree.
We have an artificial tree now, but I miss the smell of the real trees we used to have. A lot less mess with the artificial tree.
Merry Christmas Mary! Artifical for me. Ornaments are the only thing I add. Several years ago I like the lights arrangement & left them as is & took the tree upstairs. This would be a great Christmas gift for me to win!!
These can be used for any occasion! Reminds me of growing up on the farm.
Although we absolutely love a fresh tree, we switched to artificial. Seems wasteful to cut down more trees that can be used. (Want to be more eco friendly.) Being older now without kids around it makes for an easier process–no more fighting about shape and size. Besides, I don’t miss shopping in the rain and cold. We do get greenery for wreath and swag–love the smell of pine!
We have an artificial tree. Merry Christmas!
Mary, wishing you a very merry Christmas. Thank you for all the inspiration over the past year. Cindy
We use a real tree ? like the smell of it. Usually we go out to a farm and get it fresh.
Merry Christmas! I definitely prefer live Christmas trees. Grew up in the Christmas Tree capital of the world and have very fond memories of harvesting wild Christmas trees with my family to send out by truck and rail. You can’t beat the wonderful aroma.
My husband and I would cut down our tree until one year we had to drag our tree down the road until we found a hill to roll the tree unto the vehicle. Then when we arrived home we had to take the door frame off to get the tree inside. After that incident we went to a large artificial tree. We loved and used that tree until we bought furniture that took up most of the room so we had to downsize to a smaller artificial tree. This year my husband had surgery so we decorated one of our smaller artificial trees as our main tree.
We decorate the cutest little artificial tree in our CA home. It’s very special. Our tree is covered with red pointsettias and memory ornaments from friends. Merry Christmas and Happy 2022 to you and yours.
Artificial – don’t like picking up those real needles from the carpet. Also, allergic to perfume so a real tree does not work for me. Merry Christmas!
Unfortunately artificial because of my allergies
We have had many types of trees over the years, but now we mostly have a special tree that we brought back from Panama. We can keep it simple or add whatever we want to it.
We use a skinny artificial one, because that’s the biggest space we have, but also, our kids are grown and out of the house now, so we just keep the memories of their excited childhood. And we celebrate at our daughter’s house and she has a real one.
Merry Christmas, Mary! Artificial trees due to allergies but this year I have a large vase of evergreen cuttings with flowers. Smells wonderful.
A small artificial tree with lights built in and lots of small ornaments.
Thank you for so much inspiration through your projects. I love creating with you! Merry Christmas!
I decorate a real tree. Nothing beats the smell of a real pine tree.
Love your card samples, thank you for sharing them!
Artificial tree now, my husband got tired of tree tipping over and needles all over.
Although I love real trees, it’s more practical for us to have an artificial tree. It’s old and funky and sheds just like the real thing.
This is a beautiful set. Thanks for making it a blog candy. Merry Christmas
We have an artificial tree so the small grandchildren and pets do not eat the greenery. Plus, I still place my mother-in-law’s ceramic tree out. She made it at her first ceramic class when that craft started.
Merry Christmas morning everyone! I love decorating the tree with handmade ornaments (some stampin up designs!) photos of the kids &dogs and ones we pick up on our travels. And, yes, we love the economics of the artificial tree. We are only on our 2nd one in almost 40 years!
This is such a beautiful set thanks for giving me a chance to win.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
We have an small artificial tree because I am allergic to real trees. Merry Christmas to you and your family.?
Due to allergies we need to get an artificial tree. One benefit is that I can put it up mid November and keep it up until late January. I love the way it makes the house look cozy in the evening of the winter months.
My first love is a real tree but that’s no longer an option. So fake tree it is. My husband liked white lights and I like colored so with real tree we alternated every year.but the fake one had both so we alternated every other day.
I decorate an artificial tree each year with ornaments that my Grandmother crocheted for me, wonderful memories of her each year!!
It’s artificial for us…we do several trees so it’s more cost effective and I can start them at any time of the season I want too, usually mid-October.
I decorate an artificial tree. Merry Christmas an Happy New Year!
I prefer real when we went to a farm and chose our tree, but as we age, convenience rules the day and now we have an artificial one. Merry Christmas, Mary, to you and your family!
Artificial pre-lit tree for us decorated with many special ornaments that we get during our travels of 35 years.
Merr Christmas!
An artificial tree for me, less damage to the environment and healthier for me!
Merry Christmas! I have a small artificial tree. Easy to put up and quick to take down. As snowbirds, we waste no time heading south after the holidays. Your giveaway is awesome. Love your daily blog posts. Happy New Year!
Pre-lit artificial tree fir us with our special ornaments collected during our travels in our 35 years of marriage!
Merry Christmas!
I live in Florida now and miss the evergreen scent. So we choose to decorate with a live tree placed on our lanai. This way we see it from all directions of the house.
Thank you for all you do and have healthy New Years.
Mary, I look forward to seeing your posts each day-such talent and inspiration! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
We love a real tree, always enjoyed the trip to cut the Christmas tree down, hot chocolate and many memories will always be with us! But now as we are older, our tree is artificial and we still have the memories!
Artificial with no dropped needles. A good tree looks real!
We do an artificial tree – all ornaments are Santa, all different.
Merry Christmas! I decorate a real tree every year. I just love the smell of a real tree.
At 73, we still have a big artificial tree. I have always felt it is less a fire hazzard. I load it with a million would, glass look & the kid’s ornaments, gold beads & garland…finishing with gold tinsel. Quite a project.
We have a beautiful 9’ artificial tree. Real trees just got to be too messy to deal with. This bundle is on my wish list. I would love to win it.
We are not at home at Christmas time, so no tree. But I have many nativity sets that set up during the Holidays.
I have both, one real in our entry way. The artifical one is in the living room. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Fake trees. I have 6 of them decorated this year. I’ve had more than that in past years
We go out in our woods and pick a small sapling to decorate. Its our Charlie Brown tree. We decorate around the house as well. Love that set. Thank you for offering this. Merry Christmas.
I decorate two 9′ artificial trees!
We decorate an artificial ttee!!
I really appreciate your emails.
When I was young it HAD TO BE a real tree, freshly cut from our neighbors tree farm. Now that I am much older I prefer a pre-lit
artificial tree. I don’t have to climb on a ladder to decorate it and I can
leave it up until Three Kings Day (January 6th) without worrying about
it catching fire.
We have a real tree
Merry Christmas ! I prefer a real tree because it smells so nice! It brings me back to my childhood when we had real tees and decorated it as a family!
Merry Christmas,
I’ve always been partial to live trees, but not willy age I do artificial for convenience.
We do artificial. My son-in-law has allergies. I don’t like vacuuming up needles. ? Live your card!
Real tree that is replanted after the holidays!
Thank you for all your inspiration!
Merry Christmas Mary. Thanks for another give away. We winter in our Bus. So we don’t put up a tree. Just a few decorations.
We decorate an artificial tree. I would like a real one sometime, or at least a wreath. Love the fresh pine scent.
Merry Christmas! Hope you are having a wonderful one and a Blessed new year! We put up an artificial tree. But, real is my favorite!
Although I prefer a real tree, it’s having to throw it to the curb after Christmas that bothers me. So we now have an artificial tree.
Artificial, the Friday after Thanksgiving. No worries with drying, fire or messy needles. I had a live tree my first year of marriage. That was it for me. Tree stays up until middle of January.
Merry Christmas. Have a wonderful day. When I was younger I loved a real tree and do still so enjoy them when I see them. Now I have a lovely smaller artificial tree that I am able to handle alone. It is beautiful and loaded with lights.
That card is so pretty..I always love to see what you create..used to always be real..but now it’s artificial.
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to everyone. Hopefully this year will be the best.
Happy Stamping!
If possible, we buy a real tree. In our younger days, we even stomped out to the forest to cut one.
Artificial all the way! While I love the way a fresh cut tree smells in the house….we tend to decorate early and those poor trees would definitely be dried out well before Santa arrives! Also, we feel that it’s slightly more eco friendly to not chop down a tree every year.
Merry Christmas!
I put up an artificial but real looking tree and it is loaded with ornaments with special meanings, many handmade and many paper crafted by friends. Hanging each one brings back a memory
We now have an artificial tree. But I do miss the snell of real. However the older we get, the smaller the tree.
When our children were little we would go to a tree farm and cut one down. Love those memories. May the true meaning of CHRISTmas give us much HOPE in the coming year.
My dog and I prefer the simplistic style of no tree. ?
Our tree is artificial …. I’m allergic to real trees. ?
Artificial tree. As time goes on it is getting harder to carry and move a real tree
usually try to have both types of trees, love the pine scent
We have an artificial tree. Merry Christmas!
Harvest speaks to the bounty of not just food but of family and friends. This bundle is on my list to buy!
I love the naturalness of a real tree. Every year you enjoy the experience of selecting the perfect tree and highlighting it’s beauty with lights and ornaments.
I don’t put up a tree. There is only my dog and me and I don’t think she cares one way or the other
I love your cards and I would buy all of them if I could
I love a real Christmas tree! However, a real tree is not practical for me, so I choose to decorate a small, tabletop, artificial tree with tiny lights & chocolate ornaments.
I’ve always had an artificial tree….more cost effective…one tree reused for many, many years and I did not cost the death of a living thing!!
Also no pine needles to vacuum up months after the real tree is gone….although the smell of a real tree is amazing.
What a beutiful bundle. I would love to win this and create beautiful year round cards. Merry Christmas.
We decorate an.artificial tree.
Since the job of putting up and taking down the tree is on me It’s an artificial tree for me, less mess and hassle.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!! We enjoy putting up a real tree because of the aroma of the pine through the house smells so nice!!!
When I was a child, we had real trees and then the sixties brought in artificial…we had them. I got married and we had an artificial the first year, after that…REAL! The kids have grown, and we have moved south and well…back to artificial tree and it’s only 3 feet tall! How this tree thing, changes over the years! Merry Christmas to you ALL!
Both! I love a fresh tree, they smell so wonderful! I also like very realistic looking artificial trees so I don’t have to water them or deal with sap. My solution…real tree in my yard and artificial in my house ?
Artificial. I like to have my tree decorated to enjoy for several weeks and my cats would destroy a real tree. Merry Christmas!
We have an artificial tree for many reasons but I do miss the lovely smell of a real tree! Merry Christmas!!!
I’ve moved to artificial tree this year but I love the smell of a real tree. It brings the outdoors inside with an earthy pine scent.
Used to cut down our own real tree on our property. After moving and children grew older, artificial. Now moved again- just a Harland with twinkling lights
I decorate an artificial tree, because my husband has allergy. Not the same as real but it still is a beautiful Christmas tree.
Nancy
Merry Christmas! I decorate an artificial tree but prefer a real tree which we have had in the past.
Mary,
I would like to wish you and all of our crafting friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Tree and packages or ready to be opened after lunch.
I like to display several different clear fiber optic trees. As I get older, it’s just much easier, but yet very pretty. Merry Christmas to you & yours!
Mary,
I would like to wish you and all of our crafting friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas! I love the bundle! We use an artificial tree.
Real, the fragrance and memories are the best! Happy Holidays??
Artificial…unfortunately allergies in the household! But we decorate it so that you would never know the difference anddddd no needles to clean up!!
When I was small it was always a real tree. You could smell it all over the house. Now as I am older it is artificial, easier on me but I do buy the spray and spray the whole tree to make it smell real.
Merry Christmas to all.
Real trees are great to have in the home at Christmas, but at my age, one I can easily handle and decorate, is best for me. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Out tree this year was smaller than usual and placed on an end table. The presents had to be placed on the dining room table. Enjoy your holidays.
We often go camping over the holidays so we only put up a small artificial tabletop tree in the camper. But I miss the smell of a real tree.
Always real! We used to go cut down our own years ago, now we “cut” one from the local nursery! Love the smell of fresh pine in the house!
Artificial now. Used to be a read tree until the two-year old twins pulled it down . Now it’s three – ten trees of different sizes.
Beautiful!!
We have a beautiful artificial tree with lights that we decorate with ornaments from all the years we’ve been married – every year we bought or made special ones. The tree stand allows it to rotate as it stands in the bay window. It looks best when I take out my contacts and the lights become little stars.
I decorate an artificial tree. I grew up using live trees at Christmas so I had to have a live tree each year. After my divorce – and getting older – I went and bought a beautiful artificial tree.
Artificial. Our 9′ tree is over 30 years old. It’s lost tons of needles and even some of the little branches. We decorate it with hundreds of ornaments we’ve collected over 42 years of marriage, and a few from our childhoods. We have big blown glass Ornaments deep in the tree to reflect the lights, and glass icicles on most tips. Every year we say we should probably replace it, but then it is so beautiful when decorated that we decide it will last one more year
I decorate an artificial tree with golds and reds. Love it!
We decorate an artificial tree ? every year. It’s easier to place & bend those branches for ornaments!!!! Merry Christmas Mary & to your family! The best to you in the New Year. ?
Artificial white with blinking lights…oh so beautiful.
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas! Thanks for the chance to win and for all you do!
We have an artificial tree too. We usually travel to visit out of state family for Christmas so a real tree just isn’t safe for us. I have fond Christmas memories of chopping down real trees with my father when I was a child though:)
Artificial with a smell of pine spray. Save the real for the forests. Merry Christmas to you all.
Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, real all the way! Fake trees are taboo in our house. Merry Christmas!
Love to keep my Christmas tree up as long as possible so I vote for artificial, although I miss the smell of a real tree.
I had an artificial tree for about 40 years, but decided last year that dragging it out, sorting branches, and assembling was dragging my Christmas spirit down. So, away it went, and I have a real tree this year. It smells wonderful–and no stress!
Merry Christmas to you.
Thanks for all your inspiration on a weekly basis.
This is a beautiful bundle that I don’t have.
Merry Christmas to you and yours! Lets hope 2022 we can get back to a ‘new normal’.
Tree – I haven’t put one up in 6 years – we lived in CA for 5 1/2 years and travel between Boston & Dallas. Now we live in San Antonio so will just travel to Dallas this year
Always real! AND my husband of 29 years is terribly allergic. He is sick every year in December. Every year.
Artificial trees ?
Love adding real beaches in planters for the beautiful smell.
Love the simplicity of your card. It’s so stunning wouldn’t think of using that color!
A very Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I have three little rustic-looking trees that I decorate every year, so artificial all the way! After Christmas I take ornaments off and leave them up until March sometime as “winter trees”.
Five years ago we gave up apartment living to travel in a RV. Gave away 99% of our Christmas decor. Now we have a 4 ft artificial tree in an apartment. I did save some our favorite ornaments and now looking for a few new decorations. Love the holidays!! Merry Christmas!
Artificial.
I love real trees we use to get cedar trees but now we get pine trees cant find cedar ones anymore.
Sometimes Pine, sometimes Cedar but always real. We love the choosing the perfect tree out of our woods, we love the smell it adds to our home, but most of all it brings back memories of other trees and family gatherings as a child
At a gift giving time of year, thank you for sharing your gift of creativity with us every day. Merry Christmas ❄❄❄
I use an artificial unlit tree. I have purple LED lights and many, many purple ornaments! I bought a Balsam Hill tree in 2020 and would highly recommend them!
Since I live alone I decorate an artificial tree. I would prefer a real tree but it is harder to get inside and up.
We used to put up a real tree but now put up an artificial tree because of my allergies. No matter which we have, the celebration of our Lord’s birth bring us joy! Merry Christmas!
Many years ago we had to switch from a real tree to an artificial one because our son was allergic to pine. It was strange at first, but we searched for an artificial tree that looked like it had just been cut down. Mission accomplished! Especially when friends come into our house and think it’s the real thing.
Love your cards! Thanks for the chance to win. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi Mary! There is nothing like the smell of a real Christmas tree and a live tree is my favorite choice. But at 74, it’s getting too hard for me to get it in the tree stand and make it straight. So, I have opted for a 5 foot faux tree. So much easier for me to handle! I also leave the lights on the tree when storing it away for the year. And you know what? Once the tree is decorated with all my favorite ornaments, it’s beautiful!
Merry Christmas to you and your family! And thank you for all your posts!
Patty
I always enjoy your posts! Thank you!
Allergies mean an artificial tree for us … and like the precious poster, smaller as the years go by! Merry Christmas!
Definitely artificial now…,although when the kids were younger we enjoyed the “experience “ of cutting down a live tree .
Artificial—with the lights already on it.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas! Thank You for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
I’ve done artificial for years.
I’m allergic to pine trees so I’ve had an artificial tree my entire adult life. The past couple of years I’ve decorated a pyramid shaped trellis I have on my patio with lighted evergreen garland and put it outside my patio door as my tree since I have limited space in my living room.
Artificial or Real ???? I much prefer the Real tree with all its wonderful fragrance. We have had both in our 56 years of marriage, mostly depending on where we were living and circumstances in our lives. Either way, it is the meaning of the season and I can be happy with either.
Love the look and smell of a real tree covered in multi-color lights. It bring nature and magic to the Christmas season.
We decorate after Thanksgiving with a 4ft artificial tree.
Merry Christmas to all.
Merry Christmas to you and yours! I love following your SU ideas.
Back when I was younger we had a real tree, loved the smell and decorating with my daughter. As the years went by, I bought potted trees to be replanted after the holidays. Fifteen years ago we sold our house, bought an RV and traveled the country. No room for even a small tree. But I fashioned one out of the cards received. We no longer travel. We still live in our RV and near our daughters. My daughter decided we needed a tree. Artificial silver about three feet tall.
Mary, I love your blog and many ideas. They are simple to create, yet lovely. I have 1 one foot high artificial tree, that I keep up all year around. I decorated for different seasons, with little ornaments, including those from SU dies
We have an artificial tree and decorating it and looking at it always brings a smile. I love this time of year and all the decorations. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and happy, healthy 2022.
Merry Christmas Mary! I enjoy your posts!
I decorate a real tree. This year it is a 10′ Frazier Fur.
We decorated an an artificial tree this year. We married in June so this is our first Christmas together. There is one ornament of a pair of Cardinals. The other decorations is paper ornaments.
This tree represents our starting over together.
Love this set as I love flowers, particularly ones you find in a field or roadside. Gets me to thinking about the spring on this Christmas Holiday and our foggy, midwinter day here in Wisconsin.
We always had a real tree until recently. Because we are traveling after Christmas we have had a small artificial tree the last couple of years.
Thank you, Mary,for your inspiration.
Artificial and it stays up the whole month of December ?
As the daughter of a firefighter, our tree of choice is an artificial one.
I decorate a small 4′ artificial tree (that we have in our open concept, but small kitchen/dining/living room) and a 6′ – 7′ real tree in the family room. We have a raised ranch house so there is a tree on both levels.
Merry Christmas to all! Let’s hope the coming year brings more peace to all!
Definitely artifical! Those needles on the live trees can be hurtful!
We have an artificial tree because we can leave it up longer. Our tree is full of ornaments gathered from trips and events. Over the years, we have given our two daughters ornaments for their own trees in their homes, so it is delightful to put up our tree and to see special ornaments on their trees. I love the Christmas memories.
I prefer real but live in Florida and they don’t last long in the heat so I have a beautiful artificial tree and a candle that smells like a fresh pine tree.
We decorate an artificial pre-lit tree. No dry needles or sticky sap to clean up.
Artificial tree and the lights always give us fits lol! Merry Christmas ?
I prefer a live tree, but age and lack of family participation, but a few years back I purchased an artificial tree. I use scented pine sticks to add the aroma.
Merry Christmas: I really enjoy your blog posts and my daily newsletter. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of it. I am a fellow stamping demonstrater a/k/a discount shopper, also.
My Christmas tree is artificial with all gold and white ornaments.
Wishing you a happy and safe new year.
Merry Christmas!
We decorated an artificial tree this year as some of us will be away for part of the Holiday Season
Last year it was real and either way they are a beautiful symbol of the festive season
I have a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree and love it.
We don’t have a tree. We have a Christmas ladder that is decorated with a village and Santa and snowmen collection. The ladder and shelves are painted red and it has lights snd garland.
I decorate an artificial tree but occasionally will decorate a real tree so I can enjoy the fragrance. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas blessings. May you have a beautiful and wonder Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas! I decorate a small 4’ artificial tree that I’ve had for 2 decades now. I do miss the fragrance that a real tree brings. ?
We decorate an artificial tree with a different theme each year. My favorite one is the. Handmade ornaments from friends and family
Merry Christmas
I have an artificial tree that I really love. I quit having “real” trees several years ago after a friend suffered a fire from hers! Plus, my cat has asthma and I don’t think a real tree would be good for her.
On another note, thank you so much for your inspiration. I just love the beautiful simplicity of your “style” of cards.
Artificial because of allergies. Love the card you share!
Artificial at my house. It holds an accumulation of ornaments (and memories) from our kids and grandkids and the travels and adventures of 50 years of life together.
Happy Holidays, Mary! We decorate a pre lit artificial tree. I miss the fragrance of real greenery but I’ve been guilted out of a real tree every year. I love the rental service I’ve read about in the UK where you get a tree for the season that gets replanted for a few years and then retired at 7-years-old.
Merry Christmas! Love how you have used this set. Stunning!
Merry Christmas!!!
A Thomas Kinkaid with the winter village encircling it.
I love your wonderful creations Mary! Look forward to every email I receive with new projects. I’ve used so many of your awesome ideas for cards and gifts to give to family and friends. Thank you! and thanks for sharing!
artificial
No tree in my house bc the 2 cats would tear it down in no time flat! In the past, I had an artificial mini-tree.
I have a small artificial tree that I decorate. Merry Christmas
An artificial tree, we always had a real tree until we got old and had a hard time handling it. Merry Christmas!
GM and Merry Christmas ? When our children were home they would pick out a tree from the tree lot. Now that we’re empty nesters it’s artificial all the way. Some seasons it’s just lights on it.
With the artificial tree I’m comfortable with leaving it lit all day and night so we can enjoy it’s beauty without fear of it drying out!
We do artificiall now. Too many live trees are being cut down & we feel we should be be more responsible with our resources. I do miss having a live tree in the house, though- the smell of a live tree permeates the house & says ‘Christmas’. I don’t miss vacuuming pine needles until June- or the cats getting sticky. I do miss that fresh, pine smell, the fullness & beauty of having a real tree inside. We were thinking of trying to grow a real tree in a container inside….maybe that’s a way we can compromise- no idea if it will work-
We decorate four artificial trees; one large, one medium, and two smaller trees. I like being able to put them up as early as we wish and leave them up.
Thanks for the chance to win some lovely candy, Mary! For years we did real trees, but broke down and got a pre-lit artificial tree a couple years ago! I admit that it is easier to handle but I miss the piney smell, but not the needle mess! Merry Christmas!
We always have chopped down our own tree at a tree farm. We love the real thing! Merry Christmas!!
Love this bundle. We don’t put up a tree so I don’t have a preference.
Merry Christmas, Mary! Love your artwork. The monochromatic look is so soothing. I am artificial tree team! I am too afraid of fires to enjoy a real tree in my home. But I sure love the smell of a fresh tree ?
I have an artificial tree. It’s tall and small— pencil tree. It’s packed with ornaments and brings so much joy to our home at Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mary! We put up an artificial tree, but we love it and every ornament has a special meaning! Thanks for the chance to win! ???
Always an artificial tree. Hate the mess of a real tree, but do miss the scent.
Artificial. Have a Merry Christmas.
We have always had and continue to do a real tree. Our family tradition is that the day after thanksgiving, we go to a family owned tree farm about 20 minutes from our home and cut our trees. We then have lunch and do a holiday movie. My daughter and son are grown and my daughter now has two children and the tradition continues with them. ?❤️
As much as I love the fragrance and beauty of a real tree, I have to do artificial. Being in Florida, real trees don’t last long.
After many years of having a real tree, we have switched to artificial. Mostly for convenience sake. Nothing beats a real tree!
We have an artificial tree. It doesn’t have the wonderful smell, but we don’t get needles all over either. Thanks for an awesome giveaway! Merry Christmas!
When our son was younger we would search for the perfect tree to cut down.. now we decorate a small artificial tree.
Merry Christmas!
Hi Mary, We made our tree this year. It is real in the sense we created it from fallen branches! You can view it on the first page of our Christmas letter to family and friends. It is made in the shape of a Christmas tree and hangs on the wall! We love it!

We decorate a real tree every year. The smell is wonderful.
Merry Christmas!
I still love a fresh tree! But I add two smaller artificial trees – one in my scrapbook room and one in my bedroom. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year filled with health, happiness and crafting! ?
Artificial! I love the smell of real trees, but our household allergies can’t take it!
Artificial tree for my family. We had a bad experience with real trees falling over in my childhood days that I will never forget so I wouldn’t even consider a live tree now.
Merry Christmas! We have a small, artificial tree – this year we decided not to decorate it, and it’s really quite pretty in it’s simplicity =)
I have a miniature artificial tree just for the grandkids. Happy Holidays
We always put up artificial trees. I like to begin celebrating Christmas the day after Thanksgiving and putting up an artificial tree allows us the extra time without needles dropping from a real tree as it dries out. Love your card Mary! Merry Christmas!!
We live in S. Florida and the real trees dry out so fast so we do an artificial tree. Merry Christmas.
Thank you for the blog candy giveaway.
Merry Christmas! We have artificial trees in our house due to children with allergies.
We have artificial. Enjoy the convenience of pre-lit but miss the aroma of a real pine tree. Thank you for your generosity. Merry Christmas!
We love to decorate both types and trees, but lately, we have an artificial tree. Thanks for your inspiration & generosity. Merry Christmas!
We decorate an artificial pre-lit tree now. Love having the lights done!
Artificial….it’s a table top tree that has small white lights, pine cones and some handmade paper ornaments. Wishing everyone a happy holiday!!
I decorate with an artificial tree as for me it’s all about the shape of the tree. I get in the Christmas spirit early to enjoy it as long as possible. Merry Christmas ??
I do a small artificial tree, better for our 2 cats, Merry Christmas
Artificial. Merry Christmas. LOVE your card designs. 😀
We do artificial because of our dogs, past and present. Between then trying to drink the water or eat the pine needles with. A live tree it became too much. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
We always used to have a real tree until our daughter gave us a beautiful artificial tree with lights(so less work now we are getting older lol????
Artificial with lots of ornaments from everywhere I’ve traveled.
We have decorated an artificial tree the last 20+ years. I miss the smell of a real pine tree, but not the mess.
moved & downsized a few yrs ago so now have just some small decorations, 2 of which are small but nice wooden trees
LOVE this bundle!!!
I love real trees, enjoyed selecting and decorating for years when my son was growing up. Now I use a small artificial tree with fresh greens inside and out.
We have a real tree. We enjoy cutting it down ourselves and decorating it early in the season so big can be “up” for a while.”
Mery Christmas Mary. I’m a silent long time (years) follower of your blog. Have a very Merry Christmas.
Due to allergies we have artificial trees. 5 of them. I miss real trees, but with lots of decorations, the artificial trees are beautiful, too! Merry Christmas to you and your family and may your New Year be full of blessings.
When our kids were little we always did the cut your own real tree but now that we are older it’s the less mess and hassle artificial! Merry Christmas!
Real love the smell
We have an artificial inside, but real greens in containers on the outside. Merry Christmas ???? to you and your family.
I love floral stamps especially those with matching die’s!
It was always a real tree – I love the smell! – but the last few years it is artificial as it is a little easier. I miss the real tree but not sweeping needles every day!
This is one of my newest favorite sets.
We would always buy a fresh tree from a tree lot when the kids were young. Now we have two teens and we own 2 artificial trees. Merry Christmas from Duncan, SC (Greenville area)!
Looking forward to use the stuff in the new catalog.
I have 2 artificial. One is specifically for my vintage ornaments and is put out on the sunroom every year. The other is in the living room with all the family ornaments.
Merry Christmas to you and family….I always enjoy nature cause living on a farm a lot of trees.I been stamping for 21 years after my husband passed. Please keep doing cards, always enjoy your work. Stay safe and healthy for year 2022 .
Love the nature’s harvest stamp set. Would be very happy if I won it. See so many pretty cards are made with it. Appreciate all the videos you have made.
Due to allergies we have 4-5 artificial trees each other, each with different themes. I love a real tree, but don’t miss the clean up.
We have an artificial tree that my husband patiently resurrects the lights on every year now for 20 years. Decorations are eclectic saved over our 49 year marriage. Starting with a white plastic reindeer given to us the year our first daughter was born. The last decoration added is a garland made by me out of small pinecones (gathered from trees in the pacific northwest and dried over furnace vents), then handstrung with red and white wooden beads. Perhaps not the prettiest tree in the neighborhood, but full of happy memories.
I decorate with artificial trees because I’m allergic to real ones.
I have always wanted this beautiful set. Merry Blessed Christmas to you and your family???
We have an artificial tree but I love both. Thank you for a fun Christmas give away Mary. Merry Christmas!?
I decorate an artificial tree with lights already on it to avoid the grumpy me when trying to untangle the lights and get them on the tree correctly. Also I am allergic to pine and I don’t look good with a rash
I love that gorgeous blue card!! I have a tall skinny artificial tree decorated in patriotic red, white & blue. We used o have a real tree every year & always cut it down ourselves but as my family has gotten smaller, we switched to artificial.
I love a real tree at Christmas! I love the lights and special ornaments that we place on our tree! Merry Christmas!
Family always loved cutting and decorating a fresh tree. I enjoyed the evergreen smell in my home. After 40 years and loss of husband needed to go the artificial way. Still a beautiful tree and I still have the memories of cutting and decorating a fresh tree.
Tried a real tree a couple years ago. It had no smell and was a pain keeping it water. Now we are back to artificial. I put those pine scented sticks on it.
You are correct in saying “Oh so pretty”. I love the Nature’s Harvest Bundle! The blue card design is beautiful! We don’t put up a tree but decorate everywhere else. Tablescapes in gold and red with tree trimmings in the center. 41 years ago, it had to be a live tree according to my husband. Then we switched to an artificial but when my daughter grew up we just don’t put one up anymore. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Both types of trees…a small artificial in the house and larger blue spruce trees outside….lots of goodies on them for the deer, squirrels and birds! Enjoy that the most!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Honestly, both are used. In our living room, is an artificial tree. I am allergic to the real tree. In my sitting room, there is a real tree, for my husband, to enjoy the pine smell. All family members who visit enjoy both and it feels extra festive in our home. 5:24 am
Merry Christmas ? it’s always a real tree for us. Love the shape that nature provides and they always make the house smell so good!
Until 2 years ago, it was always a live tree that we would find and cut down. This would be followed by stopping for hot chocolate and a sweet treat before heading home to decorate our purchase! When we moved to a condo 2 years ago we got an artificial tree to fit our smaller space.
I love the simplicity of your card!
It is an artificial tree for our family!
No real tree for me. I am allergic and would be sick by Christmas Day if a real one comes in the house.
I decorate an artificial tree. And as I get older, the tree gets smaller.
We have a ceramic tree that my mom made us 53 years ago. We put small wooden ornaments from around the world on it. That tree has traveled from NY to KY, OH, MA, MS, TN and finally AZ. It has created many memories for us and is SO appreciated since my mom died 5 years ago.
