  12. Ginger bread cookies. Takes me back to when I was a child. The aroma of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg baking in the oven. Mmmm

  13. My favorite dessert for any occasion is Carrot Cake! I make it the healthy way with carrots, pineapple, applesauce, walnuts, raisins, unsweetened coconut and a 5-grain flour that I grind myself. It’s so yummy and always requested~

  14. The sugar cookies that I began making with my grandma as a small child in the 60’s & still make every Christmas time!

  15. My favorite Is Crack Candy, it is so easy to make and everyone loves it. I have not made it for several years, as I can’t stop eating it.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a better 2021. Thank you for the opportunity to win the Little Treats bundle.

  16. My favorite Christmas treat is homemade carmels. We make them every year for neighbors and friends.

  17. I think our favorite treat at Christmas is my candy cane cookies-red and white dough rolled separately into short logs, then twisted together and formed into candy cane shapes. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top after baking-YUM! My mother gave me the recipe-we made them as kids & now I make them with my grandchildren 🙂

  18. I make an amazing apricot-pineapple strudel around the holidays every year. People beg for it every year.

  19. Merry Christmas! So many delicious Christmas goodies…Melting Moments Cookies are a #1 favorite of mine.

  21. I really like ALL cookies, but my favorite are the little tea cakes my mother used to make – loaded with pecans and rolled in powdered sugar!

  22. I love making all kinds of cookies. I give them as gifts for family and friends; but as a special treat for Christmas dinner, I love my Cranberry Orange Cheesecake. I did not make this year, as no one to enjoy it but my husband and I, and that is a lot of cheesecake for 2 people.

  24. Merry Christmas Mary! My favorite Christmas favorite is Mexican Bunuelos. It’s a crispy round dough sprinkled with sugar and ground cinnamon. It is fried so I enjoy them during the holidays only and look forward to them the following Christmas.

  25. I know this is going to sound strange because must people don’t care for fruit cake. But my grandmother could make the very best fruit cake, with lots of Black walnuts. I’m 67 years young and I can still remember how it smelled so good and I didn’t want to wait till Christmas for a slice. She would make it early in the season and pour a grape wine and slice apples over the cake. One month before Christmas. The smell would be wonderful.

  26. Happy Holidays. My favorite dessert is “White Mice”, a German cookie but similar to Mexican Wedding Cake cookies. I only make them at Christmas. My favorite candy is Ghiradelli Peppermint Bark!!

  27. My family looks forward to me making Italian Pizzellas on the holidays. The recipe is from my husband’s Grandmother and I always have fond thought of her when I make them! My boys have grown up with them and now their wives look forward to them. They’ve become one of our family traditions

    Especially the pale pink peppermint.
Now everyone – including me – loves my microwave caramel corn! It’s made in a paper bag! This year my boyfriend and I made 8 batches!

  32. My favorite Holiday treat is a fresh rosette. The lady who made these at church for our annual Christmas cookie sale died this December and her family made them in her honor this year. They were almost as good as Joyce’s, but still not exactly how hers turned out. We all miss Joyce so much, but her legacy will remain.

  33. I have 2 favorite Christmas desserts that are now reminders of my Mama and Daddy. For the last few years until my Mama passed away October 2019, I helped her make her fabulous nut cakes. She always made 2 to share with my siblings and to have some for herself and Daddy. I’m trying to continue the tradition. My Daddy’s favorite cake until he passed away in 2014 for me to bake at Christmas was an Italian Cream Cake which I also love. I didn’t bake it this year because of family not being able to be together this year because of COVID.

  34. My favorite Christmas dessert is a Happy Birthday, Jesus! cake–and singing Happy Birthday to Him. Favorite holiday cookie is a Mexican Wedding cookie (or any of its variant names!). Favorite candy is anything chocolate! Hope you had a wonderful holiday and that 2021 is much, much better.

    Have a blessed day.
