I always enjoy your posts – they are short, concise & easy to follow. I just wanted to thank you again for the newest catalog. I can relax and get ‘away’ from all the chaos of pandemic, as well, as Tucson fire alerts – and just dream of making cards! Ahhhh!
Hello Mary: I hope this comment sticks, I’ve been having some trouble with my comments being published for a while now, this happened before and, that time, it kind of fixed itself.
But this time was worse, I couldn’t even comment on my DT challenges and that really made me angry.
I called my youngest daughter and she came yesterday to take a look at my computer, she said I had a lot of files, or cookies, or whatever the name is, that my virus protector was out of date and I don’t know what else.
She told me she fixed this problem the best she could so, the trick now is to see if my comments stick.
I don’t want you to think I was not even looking at your blog, you have been a source of inspiration from the very beginning and I appreciate your talent and generosity.
I promised my daughter to keep up with the virus upgrading and with deleting unnecessary files.
Anyway, I love all of the cards you create, I’ve learned so much about color combinations and pattern combinations from you.
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
I received your comment, Maria! No worries, I am not upset, just happy to see that you can leave comments again. Hugs, Mary
Thanks so much for the cards and inspiration in this post – as well as all of the smiles they generated to start out my day 🙂
Awesome pdf Friday projects. Hope you are still in your home and haven’t had to evacuate because of the Big Horn Fire. I can see the horrible smoke from my house and hoping you are still in the SET mode and haven’t been moved to the GO mode. Thinking of you friend.
Thanks, Kadie. Still in SET mode fortunately. Less smoke behind me today. The past week has been very frightening but I remain optimistic.
Wow! What a delight to read your comment first thing today, Jane. Love your Swarovski crystal personalization and hope to see your gift set. Stamping is such a pleasure for me and I love presenting ideas and learning from others. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
I have been an SU stamper since 2006 and have a vast collection of stamp sets. My all time favorite that I go back to every year is the lovely and versatile sets of vivid, vibrant and varied vases! Along with its punch I have made many gift sets of cards. Each gift set has its own unique design. The SU stamp sets and punch are a card designer’s dream.
My daughter, Eve, a beader (necklaces, brackets, earrings) sent me a dozen small bags of Swarovski flat crystals. The colors are beautiful: turquoise, aquamarine, cobalt, tangerine, blue zircon, etc. Their size range is 1.7 mm to 2.5 mm in diameter. They are too small for her to use because they are without a hole for beading. Larger crystals without holes can be beaded around its outside edge and incorporated into a piece of jewelry. These tiny crystals are perfect for the center of flowers in your inspiring VASES stamp sets and punch.
Thank you for posting your completed cards and Encouraging us to make and send more cards. My SU demonstrator, Susan Elise Morton, (like you) is an outstanding teacher and mentor. As a retired public school teacher I truly appreciate the time and prep work it takes to create a blog. A great blog is a video lesson.
I am also going to state on the back of every card Swarovski crystals were used to create it.
Once I finished this gift set of cards I will post a photo for you.
Thanks for always inspiring us!
