  1. Very nice giveaway & I really enjoy your blog.

  2. I make birthday cards the most. I love to individualize each card according to the interests of the recipients.

  3. Birthdays are when I make the most cards. It would be Christmas cards, but since I’m a newbie, I’ve not built up that stash yet. Next would be Easter, and Valentines. I have to comment further about how inspiring you are and how pretty your cards are. That’s a big reason to get into card making.

  4. Hi Mary!
I find myself making more Christmas cards than any other occasion, but I also make cards for my mom – she likes sending them, and I love making them!I love getting all of the ideas that show up on the blog – I have a lot more ideas now! Thanks!

  5. I make birthday cards the most and also for every ones birthday at church.

  6. Thank you cards, by far!

  7. I probably make more Thinking of You cards because on the inside
of the card I can personalize it with birthday wishes, get well, whatever the occasion. This gift would be awesome to use.

  8. Definitely Christmas but also make lots of birthday cards. I create cards for deployed military so they have cards to send home to their loved ones.

  9. Rachel L. Helberg

My most fav card making time is for Christmas. I do it all year long so I have lots of extras. I take my extras to our local elderly complexes and place them out as “free for the taking” so they have something special to send to their own loved ones. I love making cards that little kids would love as most of the freebies are usually sent to their grandchildren. Some years I make enough to give out for Thanksgiving as well. I just love making them all year around.

  10. Your cards are exactly my style. I LOVE the beautiful paper and I think using it will speed up my Christmas card making during this busy season. Thanks, Mary, for the opportunity to earn this fabulous set.

  11. I make birthday and thank you cards in equal amounts. I hope I win! Love that suite!

  14. I would say it is a dead heat between Christmas cards and birthday cards. I just love when I get a message thanking me for MAILING a card!

  15. I feel like I may make thank you cards the most, but I just make whatever comes to me at the moment

  16. I make more “Thinking of you cards” than any other cards. I like to send them to the sick and shut in at church and to the elderly.

  17. I definitely do the most card making for Christmas. Besides the cards I mail, I make gift card holders for my adult children and then there are gift tags for the grandchildren’s gifts.

  18. I make more “holiday” type cards than anything else. Especially enjoy making spring and fall cards!

  19. I love making all types of Christmas cards, tags, and gift card holders, but lately I really enjoy making “Thinking of You” cards for church friends who are going through a rough time. Even the men appreciate the sentiment! Another favorite of mine is making sets of coordinated “Thank You” cards as shower gifts for brides or new moms. Bundled up with matching envelopes and tied with a pretty ribbon or twine, they make a great, thoughtful gift.

  20. Kathy Malanoski

  23. Thanks for the chance to win this marvelous bundle! I make lots and lots of Christmas cards every year.

  24. Thinking of You and Just Because cards are the ones I make the most. I like to give little gifts to people and you always need a card to go along with your gift. Never pass up the chance to make someone smile!

  25. I guess I make the most birthday cards. Although my favorite cards and projects to make are Thanksgiving!

  26. Thinking of You and Just Because cards are the ones I make the most. I like to give little gifts to people and you always need a card to go along with your gift. Never pass up the change to make someone smile!

  28. Cheryl Delfino

Hi Mary, thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy!

I mostly make birthday cards and recently sent a birthday card to a stranger for the first time. I saw a request on social media from a WWII Veteran who was turning 100 and said he’d like to receive 100 birthday cards, so I sent him one. What a great feeling to give back to someone who gave up everything back then to protect us here at home. I was really excited when they posted pics of the thousands of cards he received and thought how wonderful it was that sooo many people responded to his request! He must have been so so happy! And isn’t that what making cards is all about, sharing what we love and making others happy while doing it?

  29. I make thank you cards the most. People are so touched to receive a handmade card with a handwritten note inside!

  30. I make thank you cards the most. People are so touched to receive a handmade card with a handwritten note inside! I get “thank yous” for my cards. Many people have told me they save every card I have given them!

  37. I definitely make more birthday cards, or at least I would if I didn’t have such massive time constraints lately! I have noticed that I need to make more sympathy cards as I get older. I love this paper series!

  38. Maria Valladares

I normally do more birthday cards then mothers day and christmas, but since the last two I do each type for a specified date it might seem I make more of those!

  39. By making so many Christmas cards at one it feels like it’s the most often made but Birthdays come a close second

  40. I usually say Christmas since I do so many at once but Birthday is probably more often but with one at a time it feels less.

  41. Vicky Heimbecker

Birthday! But I also send Valentine’s, Easter and Halloween cards.

  42. I would have to say birthdays. My friends are still amazed I remember to send each one of them a hand made card every year. It’s been 20 years since I’ve bought a card.

  47. Rosemary Sterner

I make more birthday cards, but Christmas cards are a close second! Thank you for sharing all your lovely ideas and for giving me a chance to win this beautiful new set. Thank you!

  48. I make card for all occasions but birthday has to be the number one cards I make. Love your cards Mary and all your posts thanks

  50. Wow! What a wonderful suite to give away! I am blown away!! Thank you for the chance at winning. I make more birthday cards than any other. I am recently retired and am having a blast making more cards than ever.

I make all my Christmas cards. It’s a toss up as to which is more. I just love making cards that I know are treasured and enjoyed.

  57. I love Thinking of you cards. They can be used for many occasions by what is said on the inside.

  58. I make more Holiday cards, but thank you and birthday cards follow pretty close behind! Thanks for another awesome blog candy opportunity!

  59. Catherine Grossmann

    Hi Mary,
I’ve found what Shelli often reminds us of to be true: nothing encourages people like a handmade card! And the feedback from friends and contacts who are ill, have received a serious health diagnosis, or experienced surgery or some type of loss and received a card is overwhelming. They feel love and support in a unique way. So I love to send “Thinking of You” cards!

  60. I feel like I am in the Frozen movie with Ella! I love this !

  61. I make birthday cards more than any other.

  62. Birthdays, because everyone to have someone to remember them on their birthday. I make them for friends, Pastors to send to parishners, and especially to those I think may not have loved ones around. Next are get well cards and thinking of you to shut-ins (those who cannot leave their home.). Making cards for others is my passion.

  63. I make more Christmas cards than anything else. Followed by Halloween, because not only are they fun to make, but people love receiving them!

  64. Charlotte Johnson

I make more Birthday cards. 😀 I can never make them fast enough it seems.

    Thanks, Charlotte

  65. Halloween and the Fall are my favorite time of the year. With that kind of inspiration I seem to make the most cards! Leaves, pumpkins, monsters, ghosts! What more could one ask for?

  66. Kathy Rosenheck

I make the most “thinking of you” cards because they are my “generic” go to card. If I am late in sending a card for any occasion (which I often am), a “thinking of you” card will work.

  67. Well my main reason is Just Because, for encouragement, love, prayer, Police and vets just to pick someone up etc Then maybe thanksgiving and Christmas tied.

  68. Exciting thought to get the Frosted bundle! I make Birthday & Thinking of You cards the most throughout the year. I also make quite a few Holiday cards as a way to keep in touch with my East coast friends.

  69. My biggest card making holidays is Easter and Christmas of course!

  70. Christmas is probably the holiday for which I make the most cards.

  71. Silvia Hutchinson

    Love the Frosted Bundles papers!!
I tend to make Birthday cards more than other cards

  72. For personal use, the cards I make the most of are birthday cards. But the cards I’ve made the most for any occasion are Thank You For Your Service cards our card group makes for each veteran on the Honor Flights from our area each year. It’s such a great feeling to be able to show our appreciation for their service, and the cards are greatly appreciated by the veterans.

  80. Elaine Harrison Lane

The occasion card THINKING OF Y O U. I send a bunch of Thinking of You. That card can be personalized inside concerning sickness, a loss or a birthday. I like the way three simple words can mean so much to the receiver from the sender. My Stamp Camp ladies like the phrase, too.

  81. Virginia perez

I enjoy doing cards for Birthdays and Thank You cards. But if i had to choose, it would be Thank you cards, not too much for my self but to family and friends. They always want to replace my paper or what ever I use. Of course it’s always “no thank you” I just enjoy crafting and always looking for another craft to do. I always love a challenge.

  82. Jamie from Kansas

Birthday cards! I had two girlfriends help me make one for their cousin and we had a blast!

  83. Vicki McCollow

I love this suite and all of the beautiful examples you have shown using it!

  85. Thanks for the marvelous posting! I quite enjoyed reading
it, you will be a great author.I will remember to bookmark your
blog and will come back later on. I want to encourage one to
continue your great writing, have a nice weekend!

  86. I absolutely love making a card that works for lots of occasions by just changing the sentiment on the front and inside (Happy Birthday, Thank YOU, Thinking of you, Sympathy, Friendship). Not all cards work this way, but the ones that do are VERY popular at Stamp Camp.

  87. I make mostly birthday cards & Christmas cards…..I do try to keep on hand Thank You cards & Sympathy cards.

  88. Mary Beth Ayers

Typically I make more Birthday Cards than anything else. However this year, I’ve made a lot of Get Well Cards. My Mother, Mother-in-Law and my Father have all 3 had surgeries. It made me realize that I didn’t have very many Get Well stamps in my collections so it gave me the perfect reason to shop for something new!

  89. Julie Turzynski

I make a lot of birthday and anniversary cards throughout the year. But I would have to say that I probably make the most Christmas cards all year. I love making Christmas cards!! I still have Christmas stamp sets from when I first started stamping in 2003 and still USE them!! I just love Christmas period!!!

  90. Birthday and sympathy cards are the cards I create the most of. In looking for more ideas, my husband and I went with friends to a class that uses transparencies to make cards. Your frosted bundle reminds me of these!

  91. Cheryle Pagarigan

Most of my cards are for encouragement . I make a bunch for our church pastor’s wife to help her . She gives so many away to congregation members. An homemade card speaks of special care for individuals who need encouragement.

  92. I would have to say the holiday I make the most cards for is Christmas. Thank you for sharing all your ideas.

  93. Wow! What a beautiful giveaway. This is tough. I really like making birthday cards/thank you cards. People don’t often hear thank you enough esp kids. I find I am making a lot of sympathy cards as well. What I really love is when my family asks me to make cards for them to give away. That means a great deal that they enjoy my fun and want to share it. Twofold kindness. Thank you again. Blessings. 😊

  94. Hello – is the card I make the most . It can be used for Thank you, birthday, sorry, thinking of you, get well, even sympathy -even just Hello.

  95. I love making cards for christmas. It is one of my favorite holiday cause me and my dad did alot of things for christmas together before he passed away. I definitely make most of my cards for birthdays, but I’m hoping soon, to be making all my special occasion cards, I imagine Birthday cards will always be the higher count, especially until I get better at making quantities of cards, as I would need for Christmas. (The blog candy set would sure help😉)

  106. Denise Eitenmiller

I make birthday cards for all members of our Sunday school class(we have 55 members – large class!) I love these people! I also make birthday cards for people at an assisted living center and give them some chocolate candy. They are so sweet and very appreciative. I use Paper Pumpkin kits a lot for those cards.

  107. I make thinking of you and inspirational cards the most. I like being able to convey a deep sentiment with paper, and Stampin’ Up!s beautiful products make it easy.

  108. I absolutely make the most cards for Christmas. Birthdays are a very close second.

  109. I make the most cards for birthdays.

I always make Crds for birthdays a lot. But during teachers appreciation, I did make 80 Thank your cards for the teachers and staff in my daughter’s school.

  111. I make 75 Christmas cards every year and I don’t think I make that many birthday cards in a year. My Christmas cards are all the same so it may seem easier to churn them out but Stampin Up does provide me with some great birthday stamp sets that make it easy to make birthday cards.

  112. This is a great blog candy. I create a lot of Halloween cards as my birthday is the day after, but I think the most would be Christmas. I made for 3 different groups last year and had a lot of fun making them.

  126. Kathy Van Helsland

The most cards I make each year are for Christmas. I make about 120. Half of them are for friends and family. The other half are for my coworkers. It is always a pleasure to design and make them each year.

The winter holidays are definitely when I make the most cards, especially for Christmas.

  128. Barbara Reynolds

  129. Probably Christmas followed closely by birthdays.

  130. Debi Krebsbach

I love to do the Christmas and other holidays the most.

  133. I make the most cards for Mother’s Day, then birthdays next! By October being in full swing, I have Halloween in high demand! I love all the products from the new holiday catalog!!!!

  134. Sandra Rowland

Hi Mary, It’s Sandra. Thanks for this opportunity-I love making cards for any occasion; all occasions. Card making is a way of reaching out and touching someone. E-mails might be nice, but a card is a physical connection with lonely people, hurting people, happy people. A connection in a world ever drifting farther apart. (You know I cannot give a simple answer.) So, Birthdays, Sympathy, Thinking of You, Congratulations, Wedding, Thanksgiving, Christmas; it is a long list. Have a great time this fall.

  135. Janet Mayfield Warthen

I make the most cards for Mother’s Day, then birthdays next! By October being in full swing, I have Halloween in high demand! I love all the products from the new holiday catalog!!!!

  136. I love the paper with this set, it just makes me feel like winter!

  137. Lately I have been making quite a few thank you card. That and birthday catds.

  138. Birthdays are first followed by Christmas. Seems like when you send someone a hand made card they look forward to one every year! That make it even more special!

  139. This is one of the nicest sets/paper ever!! Thanks for putting it on your “candy” list

  140. I’m new to card making and I seem to be concentrating on Birthday cards. One of my
first purchases with Stamping up was the Happy Birthday die which just seems to make me happy to use it. It is so versatile. I love it.

  141. Christmas is when I make the most cards during the year, 50-75. I mix them up since I get bored making the same card over and over.

  142. Janet Ver Planck

Birthday cards are top on my list.

  143. I would say I make the most birthday cards. I enjoy making all types of cards. This frosted suite would make some beautiful cards as you’ve already shown. Thank you for the chance to win this suite.

  144. I probably make the most cards during Christmas time! It’s my favorite season and I love sending handmade keepsakes. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway!

  145. I make more birthday cards followed by thank you cards. I donate the birthday cards to the county department I work in so our chief can sign and distribute them to staff on their birthdays. Staff love the homemade cards!

  146. I make Birthday cards the most. I sure love the Frosted Bundle.

  147. Christmas is 1st followed by birthday cards. Sympathy and get well are next. Thank you for the chance to win at the giveaway

  148. Evelyn Petrere

Happy World Card Making Day! Thanks for a chance to win the Feels Like Frost Suite. Christmas cards are the ones I make and send the most, followed by birthday cards.

  149. Birthday cards!

    • Other than Christmas cards, I definitely make the most birthday cards. Thank you so much, Mary, for the opportunity to win this gorgeous suite.

  150. Kristine Boydstun

I make birthday cards, the most! Love this frosted set!

  151. Christmas and birthdays. Many cards of both occasions.

  152. Cheryl Delfino

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for the opportunity to win some awesome blog candy!

I mostly make birthday cards but also enjoy sending “thinking of you” or just a “hello” card. I have to admit I’ve sent a few cards to strangers like WWII veterans turning 100 who go on social media and are saying they’d like to 100 cards for they’re birthday. Sometimes they post pics of the cards they received and there are 1,000’s of them! What a wonderful feeling, knowing I contributed to giving back to someone who served our country and gave up their lives for us. That’s what making cards is all about isn’t it?

  153. I make more Birthday cards than any other. I head up the card ministry at church. Several gals and I meet monthly to make BE cards for those in our congregation and I personally make close to 200 just for family and friends. I design cards for a group of elder ladies in a local retirement home. We most always make birthday cards, two twice monthly for each person. My home workshops weekly yield two cards and the ladies have choices on sentiments. About 90% are also BD cards. I pray card making never becomes obsolete due to ecards and other web ways of communicating.

  154. Beatrice Putnam

  579. Good morning! I would like to start of by saying that you inspire me every time I open your emails. From the design of the card, the colors you use and the little bit of accent you apply to make the card “pop”. My favorite time of the year is the Christmas holidays. I now you didn’t ask that of us but I thought I’d share that because Christmas cards are the cards that I make the most. As years pass, I have learned that the best part of any holiday, is a card received in the mail by one you may talk to all the time or ones not so often and I believe that when one speaks of the spirit of Christmas, it’s to give and what more can one do, especially when one crafts, is to give a card. The simplicity of a card can only bring a smile to one’s face so show one cares, thinking of you, and loves you. Well, I believe I have babbled enough so I hope you have a wonderful day and I look forward to your inspirational cards.
