  2. I love all the holidays for paper crafting however my favorite would be Thanksgiving because of the beautiful autumn colors! The colors of fall just make me happy and invoke a general feeling of blessed gratitude and thanksgiving!

  4. My favorite holidays to make cards for is Easter and Valentine’s Day. I try to get my Valentine cards done early so that I can send them to the Loveland, Colorado post office to get the special postmark they do every year. Thank you, Mary!

  8. I try to start my Christmas cards in the fall, since I make over 50. We belong to a senior community in the winter, so a lot of my cards are not mailed, just put in there mail boxes. I love the fact that when we create birthday cards, I always think of their personality, and make my card to fit it! Love, love card making!

I have already started making my Christmas cards and I try and get them finished by the middle of October, so then I have time to do my Thanksgiving cards. I make both Holiday cards for our church for the sick and shut-ins (which include those in the nursing homes). So,I do a lot of these 2 holidays, but I enjoy doing them!

    I have fun all year making birthday cards and get- well cards but the one holiday that I look forward to is Christmas! I start making cards in the fall and enjoy crafting 50-60 cards for all of our family and friends. Last year the SU Night in Bethlehem was stunning. Thanks for all of your inspiration!

  26. I love all holidays but Thanksgiving is my absolute fav!! One because it around my birthday time and two because of all the joy love that we have as a family. I start creating cards in August for the fall holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving and a few general autumnal theme cards, and keep right on going through Christmas, the winter season, and Valentine’s Day. I sometimes take a short break before starting work on Easter cards. Needless to say I don’t really have a favorite holiday. I love them all. In between holidays I make birthday cards for friends and family.

A group of friends go to the coast around hunting season (so our husbands are away in their favorite place – the woods) We each make two or three cards to share and come home with enough cards for all. Halloween is tricky because some don’t want witches, and I avoid spiders on cards for the ones who have a continuing battle with brown recluse spiders. (Spider webs are okay, since the brown recluses don’t seem to use webs.) I’ve personalized with names on headstones, and moving pieces for the more action-oriented ones.

  112. I would have to say Halloween. All the paper colors, and stamps…oh my! You aren’t as rushed with so much going on

  113. My favorite holiday to stamp for is Secretary’s day, or I guess now it is Administrative Assistant’s Day. As a result of my job, I work with 3 different secretaries from different organizations. They are wonderful ladies! I love to make them a hand stamped card with a message that reflects them – like ‘You are Amazing’. i try to make my cards in January or February so they are ready for April, and I add a little thank you gift of flowers to accompany the card. One lady I worked with had her card displayed in her office for the remainder of the year – it meant a lot to her.
    I enjoy stamping the most when my intent is for a specific person or two (or three).

  133. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday to papercraft because there is so much to do! I love making invitations for the 8 families represented at our table each year plus I send cards to those who can’t attend. Then I make fancy leaf decorations for the table with lots of glitter. Plus I make handcrafted nut cups for each place setting…a tradition that goes back to my grandparents. A few years ago I started sending home “leftover” containers, one per family and I do a little pumpkin or leaf decorations on the lid. (Sometimes I think people enjoy the leftovers more than the meal itself!)
    Papercrafting continues old traditions and creates new ones!

  160. My favorite time of year to make cards, for is Christmas. It is a wonderful time of year to remember friends and family near and far.   170. It’s funny. I don’t like the holiday itself, but I love making cards for Halloween! Such a variety of ideas always come to me because images can be silly, scary or pretty. They can include so may things: cats, bats, witches, goblins, fields, fences, a big orange moon!

  171. Fall in Wisconsin is my favorite time of year and I love all the fall colors so I would have to choose Halloween. It’s really just my spring board into the holiday season.

  174. I love Halloween! My grandchildren and I like to make little treats for their class for their Halloween party. They are just in elementary school but have become quit the little crafters already. I love it when the tell everyone that we craft together and make projects.

  179. Christmas is probably my favorite. I have tried to incorporate a Christmas card design with each of my monthly Stamp Camps.

    Valentines is my second because of all the little treat bags and boxes you use with candy. I think more about chocolate at Valentines Day.

    They are both about love. GOD’s love for us, so HE gave us Jesus, and our love for one another and using Valentines Day as another opportunity to express that love.

  180. I love using my Stampin’ Up supplies for my Christmas packaging! I stamp on tissue paper and gift bags and make all of my gift tags to make my packaging extra special!

  184. Although fall is my favorite season, it seems Christmas is the easiest and most rewarding card crafting holiday with so many more tools and products, ideas and excitement. As soon as I see the fall colors and pumpkins my heart does a flutter, but before I know it it’s gone and Christmas takes over with it’s lengthy decorating and gift giving season. I do love Christmas too.

    • Christmas would have to be my favorite holiday for paper crafting. From sending Christmas cards, making holders for gifts, tags and treat holders to decorate the table keeps me busy.

  210. I would have to say Christmas, because that is when I send the most cards. I also do a Holiday Stamp Camp which is loads of fun!

  211. Christmas would be the holiday I stamp the most for. But although it isn’t a holiday birthday parties would be first. Invitations, party decorations, room decorations, favors, etc. etc.

  212. Since each of my cards take a lot of thought about the recipient and sometimes hours to design and put together, my favorite time of year to make them falls under the “other” heading… the in between times for both the ups and downs that I want to acknowledge.
