Flowers!
Depending on the design, I may add extra of both. Looking at the stamp set to be given away, I don’t think it would need either as an addition. Thank You, Mary, for sharing all your great ideas.
I like to add more leaves.
I usually do add another flower or two and extra leaves on my cards. Too me, I can’t have too many!
You inspire me every day Mary with your gorgeous cards!! I tend to add more flowers to my cards because one can never have enough flowers in their life! Happy Easter!

Do add but they are more of a “filler”
I would have to say leaves.
I use more Leaves then flowers
I add many more flowers than leaves. I don’t think I do a very good job with the leaves so I do not tend to use them.
I love them both, but I like the understated look of leaves. It’s a softer look somehow. But I really like those stamp sets!
I like to add more flowers than leaves. I’m never quite sure where to put them! Thanks, Mary!
Leaves, but flowers are a very close second.

Flowers, flowers, flowers! There are so many awesome Stampin Up! floral stamp sets!
Hi Mary. Adding more leaves seems to highlight the images & makes them pop more.
I like to add more leaves to go with my flowers that are usually the main part.
I’m a leaf lover. They fill in little blank spots, or they can balance the card out. And the best is that they can cover up something I may have messed up.
I tend to use more leaves. Thank you.
I definitely use more flowers, but I love leaves too! Maybe I’ll try to show them a little more love in the future. Fun giveaway!

Hi Mary! Love your beautiful cards! I have learned so much from the cards you design!
I tend to use more leaves to “frame” a focal point flower.
Cute projects!
I find that I try to balance the two, like in a floral bouquet arrangement. I think it just pulls it together more. Thank you for all your inspiration and for the chance to win a fun prize! Love your simple mother’s day card.

It depends on the size, but I like flowers more. A chance for more color!
I use more leaves in my papercraft projects. I combine them as frames and as corners on the inside of cards. I also use them on the backs of cards at the bottom where I have stamped “hand stamped by”. I use leaves to decorate envelopes too.
Mary, great job as usual!
Extra flowers, but looking forward to the Old Olive vellum for the extra leaves. Loved your little extra gingham clouds and reminder of what a great value the host sets are.
Girls at my table at On Stage in Charlotte are in your downline! They are blessed.
Have a great day.
Judy
Hi Mary, Thanks for the chance to win these great sets. I usually use more leaves than flowers.
I add more flowers to my cards. I can’t wait to see the improved dies. Thank you for all your hard work for us all
I use more flowers because you can use so many different colors
I like to add flowers to my projects.
I add more flowers! I love flowers even when they are black and white as a background.
I add more leaves if I have the confidence that it will look better, which is not often. :o)
I usually use a lot of leaves as they’re quicker for me to color. I’m still working on my coloring skills.
I add more FLOWERS ?
My favorite cards to make are fall cards using leaves. I also love the dynamic leaf ef. Thank you, Mary, for another chance at some blog candy~
I add more flowers and fill in with leaves.
Leaves are what I add more of than the flowers since I use bigger flowers I usually only use two of them and then the tendrils and leaves are added. Love the look of tendrils and leaves as an accent to the flowers.
flowers. and a few leaves for filler.
I love to add more flowers. Flowers can add such beautiful colors to a card. Thank you Mary for all that you do!
I love both flowers and leaves! Although I probably add more flowers, with leave accents.
I think I add more leaves when I am putting leaves and flowers together, but I use more flowers overall
I’d say I probably add more flowers than leaves for sure. Love all of the ideas you share!
I prefer adding leaves on my projects. To me it gives the project a finished and fresh look. I am a fan of all leaf type dies and stamps.
Leaves, definitely. Easy to get carried away with vellum and dies!!!
Ohhh, that’s a toughie!! I use flowers a lot but love to stick in leaves here and there~I guess leaves:). Thank you
I use more flowers.
I would say I use more flowers on cards than leaves.
We’re in the wholesale greenhouse business, so this is a hard one. I’d say, though, that I add more leaves. They’re great additions to masculine and feminine cards!
Love this set! No I usually don’t add extra leaves to my cards.
I always add more leaves, in a lighter shade, love the cards.
I use more flowers when making cards. I love the variety that Stampin Up offers.
Thank you, Mary, for your generosity. I use more flowers.
I usually do more flowers and sprinkle in some leaves. Thanks for a chance to win!
I almost always add more leaves !!
I think each flower needs at least 2 leaves to make it look balanced, but I’m not opposed to adding more leaves.
I think they are equal.
Flowers!
I prefer to add more leaves to my projects.
I love your posts. They are so creative and I just wish that I had more so that I could enjoy doing them. But as a single home keeper who is very active in civic organizations. I enjoy helping others and caring for my two fur buddies and do well in getting the carpet vacuumed occasionally!
I like to balance them out but each flower general has 2 leaves…thus I add more leaves! Hope you’re having a great day Mary!

I think it gets to be more leaves, I love flowers and you always add at least 2 extra leaves. Thanks Mary
I’m a sucker for leaf stamps, dies and punches!
I’m a leaf girl. Thanks for a chance to win!
I love leaves, so I usually add more via punches or framelits. Although coloring extra leaves with SU’s variety of green is typical, I’ve discovered using vellum and foil adds a wonderful touch.
Flowers for sure.
Do we add on more leaves or flowers? Mary, OF COURSE WE ADD ON MORE LEAVES AND/OR FLOWERS! more, More, MORE!
Punch, stamp, die-cut…
I definitely add more flowers than ieaves!!
Flowers – Always! They make me smile!
Flowers for sure! They are everywhere and so inspiring and make me happy =)
Definitely flowers!!!
Flowers ? flowers ? flowers ?
Both great sets—I tend to add more leaves; especially to dress up sentiments.
I like leaves, but would have to say flowers because you can use them in so many more colors 🙂
I use more leaves than flowers. Although I use a lot of both. ?
I guess it depends on the size of the card and/or what else is going on with the rest of of the card. I have a tendency to use LESS than MORE,
What a beautiful card, using my favorite sunshine phrase! Love it.
Elina, you are very artsy, you have to look at like you were planty a flower garden!?! Ask yourself IF IT WAS MY GARDEN, FLOWER, WHAT WOULD I LOVE TO HEAR SOMEONE SAY ABOUT MY YARD!?!?? WE KNOW A WEED FREE GRASS IS A PLUS. BUT SOMEONE SAYING,” OH I LOVE THIS YARDS GARDEN, ELIMATE OF SURPRISE THAT SHOWS OFF THEIR GARDEN SO PRETTY, WELL WHAT, SORRY. THE FLOWERS ARE BEAUTIFUL, THEY DONOT OVER POWER BUT THE COLOR OF THEM AND DIFFERENT KINDS OF THEM +, THE COLORS BLEND NOT OVER POWER. LIKE A SURPRISE GIFT!! BY CME
Stamps are awesome can’t wait to see new catalog!
Definitely flowers! I buy every flower die or punch.
Mary,
Thanks for the great blog candy! I’m a flower person, so this is what I like to add to my cards. FLOWERS are a girls best friend.
Oh, gosh…I LOVE flowers. But they always look better with leaves!
I really don’t like my card to feel too cluttered. I have seen some with so much, they just overwhelm me! Thanks for all you do Mary!
Wow – good question! I believe I am more of a Flower Power Girl!
Flowers all the way, but it’s great that we have so many options of punches and framelits with different leaves to accent all those flowers!
Thanks for the chance to win
I probably add more leaves than flowers.
Both. You can’t have flowers without leaves.
Lately I tend to add more leaves than flowers. Thanks for the chance to win!
I use more leaves as filler.
Yes, I add more leaves whether they are leftover from PP, punched, stamped, or stamped and cut out…I DEFINITELY add leaves!
Sometimes I use more flowers than leaves. It really is determined by the size of the flower. I love both leaves and flowers.
It depends on the size of the flowers, but I usually use a ratio of 2 leaves to every 1 flower. Thanks for your inspiration, tutorials and blog candy!
I love the leafy vases and the really cute sentiments
Thank your for a chance to win.
More leaves than flowers ??
I tend to go a bit overboard in the flowers! Thanks for the chance to win your awesome blog Candy!
I like to add both leaves and flowers to balance it out and give it more texture!
Definitely more flowers – they give me more opportunities to color, something I’ve enjoyed since I was a small child!
Thanks for keeping us informed of all that is going on at StampinUp.
Flowers
I am new to stampinup and love all of your examples.
I’m afraid I’m a flower person. You have to have leaves, but I’m much more inclined to add more flowers to bring out the pink, red, orange or violet colors in my project.
Usually I have more flowers than leaves. Thank you for such a lovely blog candy giveaway combo!
Flowers because I don’t have many leaves.
I usually end up with more flowers than leaves.
I just love using lots of flowers and leaves. Always try to have an odd number of each.
That’s true Ellen but you want your flowers to blend w/ different kind and color. The eELAMENT OF SURPRISE?? YOUR LAWN SHOULD BE GREEN BUT TO BLEND OR WITH the color of the flowers should blend like shading in a stamped flower on a card. Color is great but not only blend but not too many so, it would be a surprise of different colors blending and not over powering the garden. Take a look in professional nursery’s and make a sketch of what you see?!!?? What ya think Mary Fisher?!? Cindy E.
I prefer to add more leaves … gives the card depth.
I’m more of a keep it simple stamper. Hardly ever add more leaves. May add more flowers occasionally.
I love the flower stamps. I say “I will not order any more flower stamps!” and then I see the new catalog and go crazy. I like to add more leaves.
I’m afraid I’m a flower person. You have to have leaves, but I’m much more inclined to add more flowers to bring out the pink, red, orange or violet colors in my project.
I’ve never really thought about it but I’d say more leaves! The flower is more the focal point!
Amy, YOU ARE RIGHT BUT REMEMBER A LITTLE CAN GO A LONG WAY. KEEP IT AT THAT LEVEL OF SURPRISE AND BLENDING THE DIFFEREN COLORS TOGETHER. CMT
It depends on the design of the card & whether it is M or F. But, generally it may be a few more leaves……especially with the sprigs & leaf punches & vellum makes a very nice accent. Thanks for a chance at a very nice set of stamps & have a great Easter week-end.
I like to add more leaves. Adding sporadic leaves near the bottom edge, inside near sentiment and on the outside of the envelope seems to make the flowers pop, but also reflects a personal style of creativity.
Those stamps are a real treasure. I am a flower fanatic but, they must have a leaf somewhere, right? The leaves are important because they help identify the plant. TFS.
I love leaves, even if not using along with flowers! But, when using flowers, I try to add the leaves proportionally!
All depends on the season
More leaves fall and winter ?
More flowers summer and spring ?
More flowers but some need leaves with them.
I always add more flowers then a little sparkly bling with rhinestones, sequins, or pearls. I love your blog! Thanks for sharing!
I am always about flowers!
Definitely more leaves! They are easy to add to a background even when there are no flowers present on the card.
I would have to say flowers… with a side of leaves!
Yes, almost always add some that pop up or curl up.
I think I tend to overdo the background to make the foreground pop, so more leaves than flowers
I like to add leaves to almost any card. It adds color and nature without distracting from the main focus.
I seem to add more flowers than leaves to my cards.
Sometimes I will use just leaves. I love leaves. Fall is my favorite season, so many colors in the leaves!
Usually an equal number of both . . . I like creating in “odd” numbers, but an occasional “adjustment” on some projects might be in order!
Hello Mary – I really enjoy seeing what you post on Stampin Pretty. You give me such good ideas. I tend to use more leaves on my projects. Have a great day. – Jane Trafton-Winch
I’d have to say I add more flowers
Actually I add more butterflies! They are small enough to cover up any smudge or speck of ink that seem to ruin the focal point and they seem
to go with any card theme.
I add more flowers for sure. Maybe I should try to focus on adding leaves for a different look.
While I love adding flowers and leaves to my cards, it depends on what is my focal point of the card. But!! I have been known to make a card or two into a garden-fest.
Leaves, all the way
Usually more flowers than leaves
I would tend to add more leaves leaving the flowers speak for themselves.
It depends on the card.
But usually flowers.
Probably more flowers than leaves!
Definitely flowers. I have a few leaf punches and framelits but dont think I have ever used them…oops lol
Love the stamp set.
I usually add more flowers to my cards. Flowers are added to accent the flowers.
Every card seems to be different. Each one has a different balance so sometimes it needs a few more leaves while other times I am looking for a more simple design.
I typically use more flowers than leaves, although you’ve given me some great ideas in your posts for accenting with leaves, so I plan to try them more.
I like to add more leaves, but still make the design balanced and natural looking.
HI there! Love your cards. I think I love the simple elegance to them. I always get such great ideas from your examples. I add leaves and flowers whenever I can to a project. Just love the natural effect it gives! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
If just stamping an accent, I use leaves, but for part of the card design, I use more flowers! So both, but flowers would win!
I like my cards simple and clean so no, I don’t add extra flowers but may add a few extra small leaves.
I usually add more flowers to my projects then leaves….but I do love leaves! Some people just made them beautifully to cards/LOs. Thanks for the chance to win such great stamp sets!!
I use more flowers ? then leaves ? !
Love leaves.
Love your clean lines and sometimes less is more and one flower or leaf will do. Keep those great ideas coming. Many thanks.
I always seem to add more leaves to my projects. I especially like adding the vellum leaves that add some softness to the sometimes vibrant colors that I choose.
Flowers usually!
I usually use the flower(s) as the focal point of the card and add more leaves.
I add more leaves, particularly vellum ones. I think they add an extra touch of elegance.
I use more flowers, I love the way they add colors to my backgrounds!
I tend to add flowers everywhere and need to try to add more leaves! Love your blog!
Flowers!
I add more leaves and love to add dimension behind them.
I use more leaves because they are so versatile to layer under things such as sentiments and such.
I add more leaves and in the fall it is all about the leaves!
Oh my, I usually look over the hostess sets but these are pretty!
Hello, I do tend to add a few more leaves when creating a card. I love your videos and your ideas for creating lovely cards.
Not hug eon big flowery designs, so I like adding little flowers OR leaves as accents. Sometimes a few leaves is just a nice touch!
I tend to add more leaves around the flowers. There’s only so much space for flowers, which means that they can’t continue to be added. It’s easier to tuck leaves into existing elements.
I do like the look of added leaves. Sometimes I add them, other times not. Thanks for the chance to win these pretty stamp sets.
I add more flowers usually to my projects/ but leaves ususally come with that as well – what’s a flower without the leaves right~
It depends on the stamp set I am using but I usually will add more leaves. This is such a cute set.
I like to add more leaves than flowers. The flowers to me can be the focal point to a card.
Not usually but sometimes ?
yes. I always seem to add more leaves and usually flowers and buds to my projects
I tend to add more flowers as there is always room for an extra posey.
I use more flowers, but love to add leaves for accents.
Flowers…..especially during our long winters!
Stampin’ Up has such a variety of embellishments to choose from, it’s hard NOT to add a leaf or flower to your cards! It just adds a litte “pop” and makes it alot of fun!
I usually do flowers. Small flowers seem like a perfect color addition to a card.
Absolutely more flowers! 🙂
I like to add tiny flowers as an accent to the stamped words. I add leaves to help fill in the empty space.
Yes, I add flowers and embellishments when I can get away with it for mailing. But sometimes they are a must for the card and then I make a separate mailing envelope!
I do love adding leaves to everything!
For one its a quick easy showstopper!
And it always fills in nicely wherever I need it! After the new catalog is release I may be using more flowers!??
I think I add more leaves. I usually do the flowers first and then use leaves as a flourish. I like whispy leaves for a “garnish”.
Flowers always.
I do more flowers but like the leaves….they add to the design.
More leaves the better!! It makes the card look alive
I use leaves and flowers on almost every single card I make. Guess it is the Master Gardener in me! I would love these two sets especially the Just Because set!
I’m in love with this stamp set! This will create cards for all occasions. The sentiments are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Qi always add more leaves..there are so many different types and using vellum ones give that added “umph”.
love this set and have so many that are my sunshine.
This week I’m adding leaves, but I usually add a flower with a balance of leaves.
I definitely add more flowers to my cards and other projects. They make everything brighter and more beautiful.
I am excited that there are more dies to cut out leaves so I can dimension them to really accent the ?
I add more flowers to my projects. Thank you for doing candy blogs!
Less is better
I add more flowers to my projects with a touch of leaves.
Traditionally I have used more flowers but leaving are making their way into my cards year round now!
I do usually add more leaves. I use flowers as background stamps too.
My focus is usually on the flowers but add leaves as needed. They both add such beauty!
Mostly flowers with just the right amount of leaves.
Yes, I add more leaves.
leaves for sure.
I love flowers so I do more flowers then leaves
I tend to be more a flower girl using the leaves to poke out and accent the flowers.
So enjoy your creations and talent. Thank you for sharing with us.?
I believe I add a good combination of both. Usually flowers in spring and summer and leaves in the fall.
I add leaves, the more the merrier!
Just love the cute pizza box project!
Right now I am obsessed with floral! So I would have to say more flowers with just the right amount of leaves to balance them out.
that is a tough question, Mary, but I think I add more flowers (they are usually easier to glue down!) Thanks for the chance to win!!!
Usually more flowers than leaves.
Definitely more flowers!
I really like the new candy stamps! My family who sings a lot, grew up singing, You are my Sunshine! This is a nice set of stamps and has many uses!
More flowers. Also love seeing more ideas for your pizza boxes. They are so cute and more ideas are great. Thanks.
I love leaves . They are one of my favorite things to color because the shading can make such a difference.
I add more flowers,, both stamped and dies, than I do leaves.
Flowers!
I do add flowers n leaves. They seem to fit n and can also fill n a small area that needs a little help!
I usually add more flowers.
I always love to add a flower or two!
Flowers and bling!
most of my cards have a nature theme, therefor I use lots of flowers in the spring and leaves in the fall
I use more flowers but I’m always surprise how a few leaves can finish the design. I only have a few leaf punches and stamps but they seam to work with many flowers
I usually add more leaves. Love your projects and PDFs. Thanks for a chance to win!
I am definitely a flower child! But you have to add leaves for balance.
Definitely flowers, but usually with some leaves!
I add more leaves. I just love them.
I use leaves with my flowers and probably use more leaves than flowers since I also use leaves with my lemon and lime stamps too.
Thank you for your generous offer of winning these two great stamp sets. Always fun when you do a drawing like this. 🙂 Marcee
I like to add flowers of different kinds and sizes. Thanks for the chance to win!
I think I add more flowers. I love the bright colors it adds to the cards, especially Melon Mambo.
I add more leaves. Thanks for the giveaway. Love your blog and your peek into your craft room.
Flowers! They just say “Love” ??
I think I add more flowers, but leaves are always a good accent, and depending on the time of year, like Fall it seems to call for more leaves.
No, I don’t add leaves, but I should! I really like the look of them.
I admire flowers. Love your projects.
I definitely like greenery.
Probably looks like I add more flowers because they are usually larger, but I love lots of leaves with the flowers.
It definitely depends on the project but I find myself thinking “flower” first and “leaves” second most of the time.
flowers if I need more color, leaves if I need more filler.
I prefer to add leaves, but don’t do much of either. I need to expand into new creative ways.
More flowers, they are so cherry.
Leaves….even when there are no flowers!
i usually add more leaves using a punch or framelit to add mote dimension to the card.
Actually I would say neither. I guess I probably would add leaves more often.
I use both. I like leaves as a background/filler stamp. But I also like to make bouquets.
Definitely leaves. For me it adds just the right finish.
I always add more flowers, especially in my scrapbooking. I hadn’t thought about it before though. I will have to start adding more leaves.
Leaves are what I like to use. I make a lot of men’s cards as there is a lot of men in our family. Flowers and leaves are great for covering smudges and mistakes too. Lol!
For me it depends on the project… sometimes I have more leaves and other times I have more flowers… I love both but I do think the leaves add texture and depth to my cards. Thanks for this chance to win these awesome stamp sets.
For me, it is more leaves. Love all the SU varieties and usually buy anything with leaves
Hi!
I prefer to add leaves rather than flowers. Greens are the perfect background. ?
Thanks!
Definitely leaves for me.
Definitely more flowers! I have the leaf punch but have yet to use it…?
I use a lot of flowers but leaves are good fillers. The tiniest flower on a card can make such a Big impact
Definitely flowers!
Flowers
I think we kinda need both! I love adding foliage for lots of texture and dimension, but who can resist coloring some of those beautiful flower sets?!
I’m always looking to add a little more “life” to my cards…..that usually means leaves, flowers, and of course some bling!
I add more leaves, I think. SU has so many different leaf dies that add all sorts of textural interest to a project. Either way, with our great line up how can we go wrong?
I generally add more flowers, then more leaves, then more flowers …. and so it goes
Hmmm, I see what looks good. If I have a large flower then it will be 2 leaves.
I add more flowers; they make the card more “happy”!
Leaves are always a great way to add interest and dimension, especially on cards with a floral motif (but they work just as well with any card).
Leaves
I’m probably an even-steven gal. I like balance, thus equal flowers to leaves.
I love this little stamp set! I could do so much with it. I use more flowers.
When I add a flower to any project, I always include leaves. It just makes the lflowers pop more!
I add more leaves, I love the look of greenery. Thanks for the chance to win the blog candy.
I add more leaves using the leaf punch. They add a simple three-dimensional detail to my cards especially using vellum or sparle paper. I just bought the sprig punch and I look forward to adding its more subtle detail to my cards.
I enjoy adding additional flowers and leaves, as multiple layers add depth to any design. Thanks for the chance! It is a lovely blog candy prize, as always. You are very generous, Mary!
Of course it depends on the project, but I usually use more flowers than leaves. I use leaves to accent the flowers.
I add more flowers. Stampin up has so many different kinds of blooms that I love to use. Thanks!
Yes if I think it needs something extra. Happy Easter, Mary
Yes! Everything is better with a touch of nature!
This is tough question, Mary! Considering the holidays, I probably use more leaves than flowers.
It depends on the season, but I will have to go with flowers. What a great, versatile set.
Good question! It made me think about what I gravitate toward. I think I use more leaves than flowers because they have a classic shape that accents anything.
I use more leaves to help the flowers that I do use ‘pop’.
With different types of leaf & flower punches & dies, the same layout can look totally different.
Thanks Mary for your continued inspiration and informative blog!
I usually add more flowers to my cards especially cards that I make for women.
I LOVE my flower dies and punches but when it comes down to finishing the layers on my cards I most always use leaves! I’m very appreciative of the video gallery you provide-I use it again and again for instruction and reminders. Thanks!
Depending on the design, I like to add additional leaves. Many of our stamps have plenty, but to add a few extra seems to make the card “pop.” Thanks for the chance to win.
More leaves, yes. The more the better.
I tend to add more leaves to my crafting projects rather than flowers. I use leaves as “fill” particularly when there is open “real estate” that just needs a little something extra.
I love that Stampin’ Up has so many different leaf types and sizes because this means I always have the perfect leaf for every project.
Typically I tend to add more flowers on my cards but that is because most of the people I send my cards to are women. When I have the need to send a card to a man, I would definitely lean towards something more nature-neutral like leaves or trees.
I add more flowers.
Since flowers tend to be larger than leaves, I usually add more leaves to counterbalance them. But some of my favorite cards are fall ones with all leaves. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy Easter!!
I enjoy adding flowers, especially using the punches that make it easy to do.
