  16. I would have to say Christmas comes first but I have 6 lovely friends from my childhood that are spread out the states. I try to send them all a card every other month or so whether it be a birthday, thinking of you or just checking in. That may add up and pass the December count?

  24. The most cards I make are definitely Christmas cards. I’m a teacher, so I start them around May or June and am finished before September. How I wish Stampin’ Up would put out their seasonal catalog earlier! I use a lot of the Christmas products from the previous year since the new products aren’t available when I have the time to stamp.

  37. By all means it’s the ( Thinking of You ) cards that hopefully will bless someone’s day knowing that whatever the situation they are not alone.
    Sadden that some of the younger parents are not teaching children to follow thru with acknowledgments of gifts, B/D’s etc.. Becoming a lost art. So thankful Stampin up is doing their part to keep this alive.

  38. You are so inspiring! Thanks for all you do for us! I like to do generic cards that I can add sayings to later for whatever specific topic is needed. That way I choose cards based on the person’s likes… floral, trees, cute, graphic, simple, etc. Thank you again for your ideas!

With so many choices for cardmaking these days – framelits, dies, colors, buttons, glitter dots, ribbons – oh so many choices…I find myself stamping/creating cards for many of my friends weekly…no ‘rhyme or reason’…I just love to use all of these products available to us…I hope everyone enjoys receiving their cards! The card I make most frequently is a toss up between “Thinking of You” ( I put that on the front and leave the inside blank so I can use it for different reasons and events) and “Happy Birthday” (always need those – especially kid-themed). But…the older I am getting, I now need sympathy cards more than ever before ( it may join the “most frequently made” category in the future!)

  114. Happy Thursday! I make all kinds of cards but I enjoy creating the cards and hanging on to them for a special moment. I then add the sentiments when I need the card. Always have a stamp and punch or thinlit handy to add last minute. I never stress if I can use the card I just made for a birthday or a thank you card! Just gives me options!!

    A demonstrator friend formed a group of us that are willing to send cards to anyone that the group hears of that has a need.
    Crafting with a purpose to cheer someone you may not even know has been very rewarding. I highly recommend joining or organizing a group if you can.

I always add a hand written note inside of my cards, so I can add something more specific there. “Thinking of you and hope you are feeling better”, “Thinking of you at this difficult time”, “Thinking of you and wishing you a happy birthday”.   165. This is hard to limit to one. Birthday are the first that comes to mind. It seems like I also send a lot of cards to friends just to say hello. With most everyone using computers I think there are less cards being delivered by mail. It is fun to recieve an unexpected card in my mail box.

Stampin’ Up gives us such a wonderful variety from which to do our work and a wonderful opportunity to create our masterpieces under the tutelage of designers such as Mary it’s a privilege to finish each creation; which for me, is mainly Birthday and Christmas. I agree with Monique about encouragement cards being needed more today and will make more of those. A handmade greeting card is a creation of our expressions and joy for the person receiving it. Everyone is now thoroughly spoiled by Nana’s birthday cards and expects to receive a unique custom handmade card from me.   313. SINCE I HAVE MOVED 3000 MILES FROM SO MANY OF MY FRIENDS AND TWO OF MY CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN, I SEND A LOT OF “MISS YOU” CARDS. I am quite lost in my new found digs even though 71 years ago, I was born here.
    Missing co-workers also after 40 years of employment at the same skilled nursing facility. Making cards has helped me immensely. I never used to send cards while in California.

I have not yet purchased the Well Said bundle due ti the cost but it is on my wishlist. I probably make Thinking of You cards the most followed by Birthday. And I love butterflies and hummingbirds. This Occasions catalog has been a purchase challenge for me and those two bundles won out over Well Said. I am subscribed to your videos and will continue to watch as long as you provide them.   445. The type of cards I make the most are birthday cards. SU has such cute stamp sets and framelets for making them that the cards themselves end up being a gift. Using dies from this set would make them even more special. Thanks for offering this set and I love the cards you make. Keep it up.

  483. The cards I make the most are “ Just a Note” type. I love sending cards of encouragement and always have them ready. This type of card also makes great gifts. A set of 10 with matching envelopes packaged up in SU clear acetate boxes with coordinating ribbon is a lovely gift for any occasion.

  499. Good Morning Pretty Ladies! Well, we send lots of cards to so many people that are hurting. But I would say from your list, friend would be it, but we do send lots of others. This is part of my ministry. There are so many people hurting our there and a card not a text means a lot. There was a 75 lady in our farm store yesterday the is abused. Please pray for her.Oh and I love your ideas! they really help us.
