On yesterday’s post, I shared a valentine featuring the Meant to Be Bundle from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. You can view the original post and supply list here. Today’s video (above) offers my tips and demonstration on how to create the stitched scalloped edge on the Whisper White Medium Envelope flap.

Here are the two products I mention in the video for storing my dies and embellishments.
Stamp-n-Storage Magnet Cards. I use 5 x 7 magnet cards for neatly storing my Stampin’ Up! dies. You can find them thru my affiliate link here: 5 x 7 Magnet Cards.
Totally Tiffany Stamp Pockets. My 5 x 7 magnet cards slip into these Totally Tiffany 5 x 7 stamp pockets. I keep everything together in a drawer with an expandable divider on the right.. See photo below. The stamp pockets can be found here: Stamp Pockets. I even use them to organize my embellishments (without the magnet cards). They have been on backorder so you may need to get on the Totally Tiffany waiting list to be notified when they are in stock.

where did you buy the black magnet board to put the dies on?
Hi Judy,
Thank you for your email, happy to help!
I purchase 99% my organizational items from Stamp-n-Storage.
You can see my Stampin’ Pretty Studio details here: Stampin’ Pretty Studio
If you scroll down you will see details and links to the items I recommend.
Magnet Cards. I use the magnet cards (5 x 7) for neatly storing my Stampin’ Up! dies.
The All-New Storage Pocket (shown below) is designed to hold 5×7 & 6×7 Magnet Cards, and Stamp Cards.
I previously purchased the plastic sleeves from Totally Tiffany, but now Stamp-n-Storage carries some so you can get them all in one place.
Hope this helps!
Wow Mary what a great idea. I’ll have to check out SU’s other dies
Thanks, Donna. I’m glad you enjoyed the idea!
I love that idea!!! I get so exited over the little things, too?
I sure love the little things, Maureen.
I loved seeing this envelope on your post yesterday and became rather excited about it. As always, you are so creative. I do have a question about this technique you used. This straight die is cutting off the whole center point of the flap. How much adhesive, if any, is left to seal the envelope for mailing? You didn’t show any pictures of the inside of said flap.
There is still some adhesive left on the envelope – probably enough. However, you could use Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to add security and cover a wider area.
Love this card and the scallops on the flap of the envelope is the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for a great idea!
There is something so graphically cool about the pattern, Sally.
Love this! ♥
Thanks so much, BK!
Thank you, Mary for the link to the pockets from Totally-Tiffany. Question: I have the die storage box from Stamp ‘n Storage. Do these envelope pockets fit in that storage box? I notice the pockets are about 1/4″ wider than the box. Doe this just provide the extra room needed when the pocket holds the dies?
Thank you for your response. I always admire your cards and tips.
I appreciate your question, Penni. I use drawer spacers to keep the dies tidy. I’m not sure what the opening is for the die storage box. The outside width of the plastic pockets is 7 1/4.
What do you do with all the envelopes the Thinlits and Framelits come in?
I store the plastic envelopes and put the dies back in them after the dies retire and I can sell them direct.
Thanks, Mary, for pointing out the perfect die for envelopes that can be used all year. It really adds an elegant touch to your beautiful card. Enjoy your day!
You bet, Hilda. I made several so they are ready to go.
Thanks, Kadie. I think it’s fun and there’s still a good amount of adhesive left on the flap if you keep the die cutting near the bottom of the original flap. Otherwise, there’s room to add some Multipurpose Adhesive Glue on the back for making it secure.
Well my friend……That stitched scallop die is the PERFECT touch to Caroline’s envelope. TFS.
