Broadway Bound Birthday Bonanza: Day 2

Create a simple birthday card with Stampin Up Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper - Mary Fish StampinUp glimmer dot

It’s Day 2 of the Broadway Birthday Bonanza featuring the Stampin’ Up! Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper!  Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Lime Twist join forces for a bright and cheery card.  You can see Day 1 here.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Start with a  4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Lovely Lipstick card stock.  Use the Stampin’ Trimmer.  It cuts and scores!

Cut a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Gray Granite card stock.  Adhere the layer to the card base with Snail Adhesive.

Create a simple birthday card with Stampin Up Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper - Mary Fish StampinUp balloon

Adhere a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   TIP:  You can dry emboss this layer for an added pop of personality!

Cut the balloon pattern of Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series to 2 7/8 x 3.  Adhere to a 3 x 3 1/4  mat of Basic Black card stock with Snail Adhesive.  Note:  Adhere offset so that the right side and mat are even.  Wrap a piece of Lovely Lipstick 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon around the layer and secure with a bow. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  

Use the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 2 1/8 x 3/4 piece of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Stamp the party hat in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock.  Crop with the Big Shot, Magnetic Platform and coordinating die.  Adhere to card with a Stampin’ Dimensional and add a glimmer dot for personality!  Bundle and Save!: Purchase the Broadway Birthday Photopolymer stamp set and Broadway Lights Framelits Dies together as a bundle and save 10%!

Use the Stamparatus to perfectly align the black dots (Tuxedo Black Memento Ink) inside the “Hooray” sentiment (Lovely Lipstick) stamped onto a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White card stock.  Adhere to the inside of the card with Snail Adhesive.

Use a Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, envelope liner die (Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies) and the Lemon Lime Twist striped pattern from Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper to create a liner.  Adhere to the inside of a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Medium Envelope.
