Create a simple friend card using Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper - Mary Fish StampinUp

A pretty pattern (Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper), simple sentiment and layered die cuts were perfect for my Simple Saturday friend card.

MY STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base using Melon Mambo card stock and the Stampin’ Trimmer.  Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Whisper White card stock on top.

Create a simple friend card using Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper - Mary Fish StampinUp Ideas

Using the largest label die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies and the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, crop a pretty pattern from Garden Impressions 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  Trim right side with Stampin’ Trimmer as shown and adhere to Whisper White layer with Snail Adhesive.  Learn more here about the Limited Time Color Your Seasons promotion.  Starts Aug. 1 and includes the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies.

Using the smallest label die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies and the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, crop Melon Mambo card stock.  Trim right side with the Stampin’ Trimmer and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals to pattern.

Using the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool, stamp “friend” in Melon Mambo ink on Whisper White card stock.  Crop with a stitched oval die from Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and the Big Shot.

Crop vellum card stock with the floral vine die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies and the Big Shot.  Adhere vellum “vine” below the “friend” oval and adhere both to the Melon Mambo layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.

Glitter Enamel Dots – Images © Stampin’ Up!

Splashy sparkle.  Add three coordinating Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dots.

Crop an envelope liner using the same pattern from Garden Impressions 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, the Big Shot and the envelope liner die from Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies.  Adhere to the inside of a Medium Whisper White Envelope flap with Snail Adhesive or an adhesive of your choice.
