STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

I used a Stampin’ Up! Sponge Dauber and Calypso Coral Ink to create an ombre effect on “sunshine.”  I did the same thing on this card from last Saturday.  I’ll do a 1 Minute to WOW! video tomorrow with tips!

The negative space on the Smoky Slate rectangle (3 1/2″ x 3″) was created with a stunning stem die from Petals & More Thinlits Dies (Occasions Catalog).

Calypso Coral adhesive dots (Subtles Enamel Shapes) add pop and playful texture.

I heat embossed “sending” (Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set) with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Paper Snips make creating the flagged end a snap.

The final touch is adding random blooms from Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set to the envelope flap.

  1. What a pretty simple card. I enjoy the cards you do. Sometime the simple one send more love than the fancy ones do. Have a good week.

  2. I love this card, Mary! We used this leaf die in my club yesterday – as each person cut out the leaves, they commented how much they love the negative cut. I was planning to showcase it one day, but you beat me to the punch! I wouldn’t have been able to make something this beautiful. Love it!
