New Video! My NEW Ribbon Reveal!

Click on the video above to watch my ribbon reveal!

Confession time!  I showed little restraint when I purchased ribbon from the HUGE new selection in the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  The least I could do is create a video so that you can get a closer look, right?  As I mentioned in the video, this isn’t your “grandma’s ribbon!”  There are so many unique and pretty details, gorgeous colors and possibilities!

Have a question, comment or a favorite ribbon you saw in the video?  Share it with a comment HERE.

MY RIBBON KINGDOM!  To organize my new ribbon, I used these ribbon shelves (above) from Stamp-n-Storage. You can get more details on the ribbon shelf using my affiliate link.  I get a small fee if you decide to purchase through Stamp-n-Storage – but wouldn’t recommend anything I didn’t love!

DON’T FORGET THE BAKER’S TWINE!  I also purchased all the available new Baker’s Twine (not shown in the video).  Here’s how I’m using the open space in my punch storage (also from Stamp-n-Storage) for baker’s twine and more!  More details on the Stamp-n-Storage Lock Down Punch Holder here.  Want more craft organization and storage ideas?  Take a tour of my studio here.

COMING UP TOMORROW!  I’ll share the details on the Birthday Delivery card shown in the beginning of the video.  I used the 1/4″ Stitched-Edge Ribbon in Pacific Point.  Yum!

In case you missed it, I shared the list of My Favorite Things from the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog here!

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments below.

  1. Hi Mary – wonderful ribbon summary! Quick question: I’m having a brain freeze and can’t remember how to make an envelope flap (as shown in the first part of the ribbon video). Thank you for all you do to promote Stampin’ Up! (For demonstrator too!)
    Inky hugs!

  2. Oh Mary, what a great video. It is so different to actually see the ribbons in your hands then to just look at them on the catalog page. Always wonder what the “feel” of the ribbon is and how it handles before ordering it. You can’t know that just by looking at it on paper. Also nice to see the colors in real life rather than just a picture. SU! does a beautiful job on their catalog, but your video just put a special added touch to all their new ribbons. Thank you for taking the time to do it. Great job as always!

  3. Oh my! Thank you for sharing this. I never realized the different textures. Now I will focus on ribbons in my creations. Have a blessed day.

  4. Wow! Beautiful ribbons, love them all! Thanks so very much for sharing them. It is really hard to tell in the catalog what they really look like.

  5. I love your suggestion about selecting different TYPES of ribbon in the new In Colors. A great idea for variety !

  6. It is so hard to pick a favorite ribbon this year! I love looking for design trends in fashion and home decor. This year more than ever, Stampin’ Up! is positively up to date with the ombre, 1/4″ stitched edge ribbon, and 1/4″ double stitched ribbon.

  7. The ribbons in the catty do not do them justice….so thank you Mary for introducing them to us one by one….I’m going to be broke by the ribbon orders lol.

    • I agree . . . you have to see them up close vs. a photo. Just promise me, Karen, that you will use your ribbon to make pretty cards and not just admire it!

  8. Such a great video, Mary! This is an AMAZING assortment of ribbons. What fun to have you walk us through it all.

  9. After your post yesterday, I decided that I needed to refresh my ribbon stash! I got online(while on vacation) and paced an entire $150 order of RIBBON! Haha! Then got online today and watched your video! I am so excited about he new ribbon! Thanks for being my enabler!

    • It’s worth it . . . no need for “ribbon remorse,” Judy. you’ll have so many colors and styles to play with!

  10. Great video showcasing the many ribbons Stampin Up offers. Great descriptions and love the update on the striped grosgrain ribbon’s thinner construction.

    • Thanks for taking the time to leave me a kind comment, Jackie! I appreciate your feedback!
