Today’s feminine and nostalgic love card was designed for my mom (Mother’s Day) and shares sneak peeks of many new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog (starts June 1 – get a catalog here). I think this little cutie pie girl, cropped from Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (new) and using a coordinating Birthday Friends Framelits die (new), is “lovely” in every way.
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
NEW WOW! VIDEO TOMORROW! I have a 1 Minute to WOW! video to share with you tomorrow to demonstrate the versatility and fun of using the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper and Birthday Friends Framelits Dies together!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Picture perfect. Many of the images in the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper are perfectly sized to be cropped with the Birthday Friends Framelits Dies.
- Bundle for 10% savings! The Birthday Delivery Stamp Set (not used on today’s card) also coordinates with the Birthday Memories product suite. It will be offered June 1 at 10% off when purchased as a bundle with the Birthday Friends Framelits Dies.
- NEW! The sumptuous Powder Pink 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon is a pretty finish. Powder Pink is one of the five new 2017-2018 In Colors. See how it compares to other Stampin’ Up! pinks below and view ALL new In Colors here!
- The sweet sentiment is from Lovely Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set (available June 1). I think the font and message is “just right” with the balance of the card.

Perfect card for a mother of four girls. I think that is so special. My grandmother was a mother to seven girls. My Mom was the fourth of the seven, And, yes, there was finally one boy later.
Magnifique carte, j’adore ces petits personnages vintages. Merci et bonne journée.

Martine:
Vos mots signifient tant. Je vous remercie
She looks like an old-time paper doll. The card layout is fantastic.
A sophisticated twist on this charming stamp & die set-
What a super-sweet card, Mary! I love the pops of soft pink against that Night of Navy panel. So sweet! Great showcase of this new paper/dies. Love it!
I’m kind of confused — so the image of the girl is on the DSP there are dies that correspond with the images on the DSP? I am really intrigued buy this – I can’t wait see more of the images!
yes. that’s exactly right. it will make complete sense when i share the video tomorrow, Liz!
This card brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of my Grandma. It is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Such an adorable card. I love this dsp, it reminds me of old fashioned paper dolls.
I enjoy reading your sweet comments. You are going to LOVE the video tomorrow showing off more of the “characters” with coordinating dies!
She is darling!!
Mary, This card is so sweet. I love this cute little girl. This girl reminds me of dolls that i used to play with. You brought those wonderful memories back , Thank you so very much. I love the Ribbon . Your bow is so pretty. Can you please do ac video on how you make this bow? Please, Thank you, Have a wonderful day. Ellen Hinds
I’ll give a video some serious consideration, Ellen 🙂 Honestly, I don’t have a particular method and do a lot of fluffing to make it pretty. However, if you think it’s helpful, I’ll see what the future brings!
This little Mary Jane girl throws me IMMEDIATELY back into my childhood (which is a GREAT thing).. I love every single little thing about this card……and the pretty bow you created puts it OVER THE TOP in my book.
Hi Mary, will you be doing a video on your “favorite things” from the new catalog? I always enjoy It and it helps me with my ordering picks! Love your card today and everyday!!
Thank you
Absolutely will do a favorite things but not until the catalog is live on June 1 so that can get more product photos.. Shooting for the 2nd week of June.
This card reminds me of paper dolls when I was a kid.
ADORABLE! An instant smile is on my face when I see this little girl and your bow….OH MY -a Mary Fish classic at your best!
Adorable little image Mary, it has a sweet vintage feel that reminds me of some of my Elementary School year books.
And the new Powder Pink color is just as lovely as can be, I think I like it better than the Pink Pirouette, it’s softer and so much lighter, just perfect for girls of all ages.
Of course, your layout is fabulous, love the pink bow and how you framed this cutie pie matching the color of her pretty dress.
Thank you for sharing.
XO
Maria.
Sweet & beautiful ????
