I’m Truly Humbled!

My husband, Scott, and I spent this past Wed. and Thursday in snowy Salt Lake City celebrating my Stampin’ Up! $1 million sales milestone.   More details on when I first earned this milestone last September here.

WOW!  What an experience of a lifetime!  Every detail of this trip was perfection including the warm welcome by two balconies full of cheering Stampin’ Up! employees, a private car and driver for two days (we love you, Terri), gorgeous accommodations and view from the 20th floor of the Grand America Hotel, thoughtful and luxurious gifts, Stampin’ Up! product sneak peeks (but I’m sworn to secrecy), fantastic food (and more food), spa day (the “works” for me) and Top Golf for Scott and the corporate “boys.”

I began the experience excited and delighted.  However, I left truly humbled by the kindness and generosity of Stampin’ Up!  I’m so fortunate to be part of this company.  Both Scott and I were blown away by the level of hospitality and love.

Shelli Gardner shared her perspective of our time together on her So Shelli blog here.

Sara Douglass shares her sweet thoughts on her Facebook page here.

Here are more photos highlighting many of the special moments!  More photos are posted on my Stampin’ Pretty Facebook page.

I kicked things off by sharing my outfit for the first day on Facebook.

. . . the shoes were a “step” outside my comfort zone but proved to be quite a hit!

Good things come in small packages . . .

and large packages, too.

A gorgeous Coach bag!

An early edition copy of Dickens’ Great Expectations.  My favorite book of all time and a treasure for this English Major!

Near and dear to our hearts!  Stampin’ Up! shared an example of one of two baskets they will be donating to a silent auction for the Cancer Society’s 56th Annual Picnic Under the Stars in Scottsdale AZ on behalf of Stampin’ Up!, Scott and me.

I met with designer and artist, Kathy Pitt (far right, below), to discuss the stamp set Stampin’ Up! will create for my million dollar achievement (2018).  We are taking a peek at future stamp sets below.  Mum’s the word on all of it!

A wintry evening at Log Haven Restaurant.  A bit of a treacherous drive (thank goodness we weren’t driving) but worth every minute to hang out with Pam Morgan, Scott Nielsen and Dave Baugh of the corporate team.

Day 2 was spa day for me at the Grand America Hotel.  Massage, facial, mani/pedi.  The best!

Meanwhile, Scott was at Top Golf  (primarily indoor) with Stampin’ Up! corporate guys Scott Nielsen, Chad Richards and Dave Baugh.

Dinner with Sterling, Shelli, Sara and Sean at The Dodo Restaurant!

Sara sharing enthusiasm and disbelief for the desserts we ordered.  None of us expected them to be so huge!

Scott and I are safely back home and enjoying the Tucson sunshine.  However, the memories of this trip and time with dear friends will be with us forever.

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments below.

  15. I’ve not met you, Mary, but everything I’ve heard about you is so positive that I know I would love you, too! Your warm personality shines through in your posts and in your lovely photos. I’m so glad I “know” you through my upline, Lisa Pretto. When I hear your story about joining SU just to get the initial products and see where you are now, I am somewhat stunned. I’ll bet you are, too! Congratulations on your $1 million in sales and for being the top demonstrator in the world. Good things also happen to good people, and I think you are so deserving. P.S. Those shoes are fabulous (even though they have killer heels) and I’m glad you have them.
