It’s Time for Linda’s Annual Calendar


My sweet paper crafting friend, Linda White, sends me a beautiful, handcrafted desk calendar annually.  When I take photos and share the product details each year, it becomes one of my most popular blog posts.  I’m proud to share Linda’s 2017 CD calendar today! Thank you, Linda, for allowing me to showcase your creative genius!

WHERE TO FIND IT!  Linda purchases her pre-printed calendars and CD cases from eBay seller, Painter410 – you can find Painter410 by clicking here.

The base color for each calendar size is 5 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.  The black mat is 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″.

JANUARY

  • Base color is Night of Navy
  • Ink: Going Gray and Night of Navy
  • Stamp Set: Festive Flurry and Framelits Dies
  • Rhinestone
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals

FEBRUARY

  • Base color is Real Red
  • Cardstock: Lost Lagoon 3″ x 2 1/4″
  • Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper 2 7/8″ x 2 3/8″
  • Stamp Set: Up, Up, & Away.  The balloon base is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
  • Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack.  Punched with biggest Balloon Bouquet Punch. The bottom of the balloon was cut off with paper snips.
  • Fiskars small hand held heart punch

MARCH

  • Base color is Garden Green
  • Card Stock: Wild Wasabi, 2 1⁄4″ x 3″ and Whisper White
  • Ink: Garden Green
  • Stamp Set: Lucky Shamrock
  • Embossing Folder: Polka Dots
  • Punches: 1 3⁄4″ circle, 1″ circle
  • Iridescent ice embossing powder, Heat Tool and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

APRIL

  • Base color is Pink Pirouette
  • Card Stock: Whisper White
  • Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack 3″ x 2 1⁄4″
  • Stamp Set: Easter Lamb, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with aqua painters using Smoky Slate and Pink Pirouette ink.
  • Lucky Limeade marker was used to color grass
  • Punches: 2″ circle, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for flower.

MAY

  • Base color is Melon Mambo
  • Card Stock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo
  • Embossing Folder: Elegant Bouquet
  • Punches: Triple Flower Punch and Small Butterfly Punch

JUNE

  • Base color is Tempting Turquoise

  5. Thank you for posting this each year. I’ve looked at them for 4 years and (woo hoo) decided to make a set. So easy and fun! Easy to mass produce . And What a great way to use old dsp, , and tons of punches and dies. You can’t go wrong. Thank you!!!

  8. I love the calendar and can’t wait to get started – just need to gather in what I don’t have. Thank goodness for good friends and eBay for things that have retired. Thank you, Linda, for your creativity and Mary for generously sharing. Looking forward to 2018’s.

  10. I have been waiting to see the new calendar. Outstanding! I finished January and as I speak I am working on February. I love Linda’s ideas and I do case some of the months. Thank you Linda, it’s not an easy task trying to put ideas out for each month but you always seem to come through. Thanks Mary, for sharing this wonderful piece of art. Love it!
