This simple holiday card offers the WOW! of a pretty poinsettia and the sophisticated texture of  white embossed pine boughs.

The color inspiration for this holiday card comes from my Inspired by Color board on Pinterest.  Be sure to follow my board for fresh and modern color combinations.   NEW color ideas are added regularly!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The Pine Bough Textured Embossing Folder adds texture and subtle beauty to the Whisper White background of the card.
  • Sparkle & shine!  The poinsettia in the Reason for the Season Photopolymer stamp set is a two step stamp. The outline was stamped in real Red and the detail stamp was followed with Real Red Glitter Emboss Powder after stamping with Real Red ink. A quick heat set and the flower sparkles!

  • The poinsettia was fussy cut and layered over a second stamp (same base image) of the poinsettia in Wild Wasabi.  This produced leaves that were heat embossed with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  HINT: The embossing provides an easy guide when paper snipping!
  • The sentiments for the front and inside of the card are from Christmas Pines Photopolymer Stamp Set.

  • The poinsettia on the inside was also heat embossed in Real Red Glitter to continue the sparkle!
