Stampin’ Pretty Tips:
- The Crumb Cake card base is matted with Basic Black and a snappy argyle pattern from the Warmth & Cheer 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack. The patterns in this stack are perfect for holiday cards and beyond.

- The band of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon and the pine boughs are a great backdrop to the framed sentiment from the Christmas Pines Stamp Set.
- Add a little interest to the inside sentiment with a small panel of DSP and Basic Black cardstock. This is such a simple way to boost the WOW! factor of any card.
- A Crumb Cake envelope embellished with a little more DSP results in a beautifully coordinated holiday card.
- Need more enabling? This fabulous alternative idea from Stampin’ Up! uses the Christmas Pines stamp set and Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies! Aren’t those pinecones adorable?

I’m happy to answer any time, Terry. Glad you found the answer!
Love this card! What did you use to cut out the sentiment? It does not look ‘fussy cut’!
So beautifully simple, Mary.
I have been waiting for you to do a card with this set. I absolutely love it!
Wow, wow, wow! Love how the black mat makes your design and color choices pop right off the page!
GORGEOUS card my friend. Makes me want to grab a blankie and turn on ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.
Beautiful analogy, Kadie, and one of my favorite holiday movies!
Love these cards. I can’t get enough “pine” in my life. Maybe because I grew up in the ‘long leaf pine state.’
Mary-how was the sentiment cut out? Was it on a framelit or fussy cut? I didn’t see a framelit, so i am thinking fussy cut bubut it looks too perfect! ?
Thanks!
Kathy
Fussy cut 🙂 I would love a framelit, however. That would be cool!
