The inspiration for this card was found in the Pottery Barn Teen Catalog.  Paisleys are definitely IN… and Stampin’ Up! knew it!

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The A2 card base (4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) of Night of Navy and Whisper White mat provide a crisp, clean backdrop for the paisley pattern stamped in Night of Navy on Pool Party cardstock.
  • Color it!  A Stampin’ Write Marker in Bermuda Bay added the extra pop of color.  With coloring being all the rage, this set will allow your inner artist to shine!

  • The lovely sentiment, also from the Paisleys & Posies stamp set, has a sweet, coordinating font.
  • A bow of Night of Navy Solid Baker’s Twine is the perfect finishing touch.

  3. Very cool card! I love paisley and I love that you didn’t stamp the designs on white but chose a color instead–a unique and creative touch!

  4. I love this set! I notice you stamped the paisley pattern in Night of Navy. When coloring with the markers, will the colors bleed because the pattern is not stamped with the archival black? Just curious.

  6. Love this color combo Mary and Paisleys remind me of the 60s’ era, very cool.
This stamp set can be used in a lot of fun ways, like coloring each of the designs in very vibrant colors, like those designs of that long gone time.

  9. Sorry Mary but I’m really not into paisley at all; color doesn’t matter. Your card is nice but … not the past decor.
