  1. Love your thoughts, Gloria. Thanks. I believe the new platform for the big shot is a bit easier to use and the results are more consistent and even. It is not necessary to get it, especially if you have great luck with the Big Shot and the Multipurpose Platform.

  2. I love, love, love these Flourish Thinlits Dies! Need I say ” I love these dies”! The cut is smart. The design is beyond question, the best flourish I’ve seen anywhere! I was disappointed we couldn’t pre-order this set. Now I understand Why! They are beautiful. I love designing with them. The ideas are only limited by your imagination! Thank you SU for these beautiful designs And Thank YOU Mary, for showing us the difference of the plates and cutting options. I don’t see an reason to order the new base plate. I have the old one and magnetic plate and the magnetic base plate. Let me know why I need the new plate? Again, Thank YOU

    • It’s not recommended and there’s really no need because the dies wouldn’t hold with the precision plate between them and the platform. It’s a bit difficult to remove the plate from the magnetic platform (trust me).
