  7. This is a hard question to answer since I like so many combinations of colors. For valentines this year I like rose red and blushing bride. However I have made cards for individuals in the colors of their respective football teams using the bloomin heart die. For Pitts Steelers fans I used yellow and black with red and blue flowers on the front with white centers. For Seahawks fans I used lime green and night of navy. Some of the paper was sparkly. All turned out great.

  20. Pink, Purple, and Green. No doubts about that. I just ordered flowers for my sister-in-law’s funeral this past week asking for Pink, Purple, White with of course, green fern. I am looking for the flowers at the funeral home based on what I ordered. Never found them, so I started looking at ALL the flowers and finally found them. They were four white roses and ALL yellow daisies. 🙁

I love to send cards with colors chosen as a reflection of that person: for my bluish-pink loving friend, Lori, I would use STRAWBERRY SLUSH; for my warmest sister, Crystal I would use, and have many times, MELON MAMBO or CRISP CANTELOPE; and for my elderly friend, Olive, I would select PINK PIROUETTE to match her sweet cheeks.

  74. This was so hard because there are so many lovely colors and combinations. I like to use cucumber crush with pink piourett (sp?) and melon mambo as I am partial to pinks, but then a lavender and so saffron combination works well too. I see cards with eggs, cards with flowers, cards, cards, cards. Guess I had better get busy. Thanks Mary for asking this question and making me think about it.

  141. I keep reaching for the Pool Party. It compliments all the lovely reds and pinks for Valentines Day, and all the lovely florals, too. I guess it reminds me of blue skies, instead of winter grays.

  149. Old Olive is my go-to color whenever I want to give touches of “nature” to a card. With the green that spring brings my favorite colors are subtle pink, now Blushing Bride, and Old Olive.

  151. Funny I was just talking to a friend about this I used to be a pastel girl and now that I’m getting older I really enjoy the bright colors so I think I would say melon mambo, daffodil delight, and old olive. Thanks for the chance to play : )

  152. My favorite color is ANY of the soft subtles for Spring colored cards. I tend to gravitate to those colors as a rule but they are certainly suitable for anything Spring!

  155. My favorite color or combination for spring is pool party or soft sky with pink piroquette or blushing bride. I do miss the in colors of 2013-2015. They were perfect spring colors.

  156. Glorious springtime makes me think of tulips….pink ones. Melon Mambo and Pear Pizazz …..on a crisp white background are my pick for the season. It just cant get here soon enough!

  167. Hi Mary! I love combining one of the vibrant blues/greens such as Bermuda Bay or Tempting Turquoise and mixing it with a bright red: Real Red or Watermelon Wonder. Add a few coastal images for the perfect beach themed card! Thanks for the chance to win some great Blog Candy!
