It’s perfect for today’s 5″ x 5″ square card using this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch (PPA288).  The sketch was designed by showcased PPA Team member, Amy Lazzell.  See more ideas using this sketch by the PPA Design Team and play the challenge here.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • It’s new!  The sentiment I used on the heart (cropped with the Sweetheart Punch) is from Party Pants stamp set, one of the new Sale-A-Bration free gift options.  Read more about Sale-A-Bration . . .

  • Shapes within shapes.  I love the clean look of the heart layered over a circle (2″).  I heat embossed the sentiment for a bold, glossy look with a touch of 3-D!

  • This 5″ x 5″ card could use a custom-sized envelope, yes?  It’s a snap to create one with the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board (25% off through Feb. 22) and Neutrals Envelope Paper (the ideal weight).

  4. Hi Mary,

Your card is so bright and fresh and pretty and I appreciate your good tips!

I’m thinking this is NOT your Mojo Card, because it does not say. Sorry but I don’t know where to find it to comment there.

  5. Such a clean and yet vibrant card. The whisper white border on the strip just makes the whole card pop. Top that with with a sweet Baker’s Twine bow and it just makes for a sweet card.

  7. Love this card. It doesn’t hurt anything that Bermuda Bay is one of my favorite colors. You just have that magic touch:)

  8. Thanks you for such sweet comments. I’m going to bet both of you (Kadie & Maria) are enjoying coffee right now. I’m having a cup of Lavazza Espresso (my current favorite for the Keurig).

  9. Love this card in Bermuda Bay, this color looks very tropical to me, perhaps it’s because I’m dreaming of those gorgeous beaches on the Mexican Pacific resorts while we are enduring this long Winter months. Love the coffee theme, I couldn’t function this early without my coffee, beautiful interpretation of the sketch, as always Mary.
    Thank you for sharing.
