Welcome to the International Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop! You may be just starting here (in the U.S.) or have come from Steffi Helmschrott (Germany). Either way you can make your way around the world by using the list below so that you don’t miss a blog.
The hop includes 11 incredibly talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who are highlighting new products from the Sale-A-Bration Promotion. For more information about today’s start of the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Promotion in the U.S., please read more . . .

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- My card is a very simple 5″ x 3.5″ note card using the Flowering Fields Stamp set below. It’s one of the FREE (and exclusive) product gifts you can earn during Sale-A-Bration. In the U.S., get one FREE gift for every $50 you spend (before shipping and tax). See all FREE Sale-A-Bration product choices here.
- For a simple polish, I added more pretty stems and a butterfly from Flowering Fields stamp set to the envelope.
- Don’t you love the look of a white embossed sentiment on Basic Black card stock? “Oh, Hello” is from Honeycomb Happiness, another Sale-A-Bration stamp set.
- NEW! A Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (also available in gold) adds sparkle and definition when dotted on the blooms and leaves of the Flowering Fields stamp images. It’s difficult to see from the photo but stunning and reflective in real life.
- I used Stampin’ Up! Shimmery White Cardstock because it works beautifully as the canvas for my wash of Melon Mambo and Pumpin Pie ink.
- Hover and Pin it! Here’s a photo showing key products for today’s card that you can save or pin to Pinterest. See ALL my product photos in one spot on my How to Make Simple Cards board on Pinterest.

Thank you so much for joining me today – please make sure that you don’t miss one of these amazing blogs as you hop around. Next on the hop is the talented Kylie Bertucci, one of my best Australian demonstrator “mates” and the organizer of the hop! Thank you, Kylie!

Isn’t it amazing that we all connect globally with our passion for stamping and paper!
What a beautiful card Mary! I love that background! And that touch of Wink of Stella is a stunner.
Again a quick glance overlooked a gem…I did not realize that this stamp set was 7 different stamps! I thought it was all one stamp…silly me! Thanks for using it…I am going to get it now! I enjoyed the international blog hop! A must do again! I love seeing what overseas demonstrators do with the stamps too!
This is beautiful Mary.
Hi Mary- What is your “go-to” card size (cut dimensions) to insert into the regular Stampinup envelope size…..to allow for easy entry into the envelope and the liner thickness? Also. as a follow-up, if you wanted to add a mat layer, what size mat would you recommend that looks best on top of a card? I know this can vary according to personal preference/style, but as your cards always look so nice, wanted YOUR expert opinion and thoughts! Thanks for taking the time to read this and reply AND thanks for all your wonderful posts and suggestions each day!
Debbie
Oh, hello, this is gorgeous, Mary!!
Beautiful card. I love this flower set
Gorgeous! Thanks for the tip of watercoloring on the shimmery white card stock.
So simple and sweet, Mary. Gee, those flowers are really growing on me… 😛
These wonderful comments keep me inspired. Thank you!
I love the simple, but powerful, wash of color. Can’t wait to give it a try!
I really must try the shimmery white cardstock and the Stella Pen. You have also given life to this Sale-A-Bration set as it was one I quickly looked past.
Love everything about your card :-)!
Can’t wait to try this card. So effective.
LOVE this card Mary! You have inspired me to get out the aqua painters again – I absolutely love this effect!!!
I really appreciate your comments on my card today! Thanks, all!
Oh, Ellen. I can’t thank you enough for your continued comments and kindness.
Mary, your card is so sweet. I love everything about your card . Great job. Ellen Hinds
Mary, love how you used just a few flowers from this set! Simple and wonderful. Will Definitely make something similar.
I love your clean and simple card Mary! We nearly used the same technique for this bloghop! x
must be that international paper crafting vibe!
What a pretty card, Mary! I love how you have used the new goodies!
Hi Cheryl: Thanks for your question. Shimmery White Paper is a good background. I just did a wash of ink using the Aqua Painter.
Love your card! How did you do the background colorwash? Would love to try this technique!
I love this simple and wonderful card Mary! What a fantastic quick card for a workshop, In house party or for friends. I will definitely be casing this idea for a future customer card. TFS!
