My dear friend, Kadie Labadie, stopped by My Stampin’ Studio a couple weeks ago and demonstrated how to create simple poppers using the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board. I was so WOW’d, I decided to create a 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial to show you how, too!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Each popper started with a 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ piece of designer series paper. Full details on how to use the Envelope Punch Board to complete the popper in the video.
- Alternative size! You can create a smaller popper with a 4″ x 6″ piece of designer series paper and score at 7/8″, 1 3/4″, 2 5/8″ and 3 1/2″. Punch with the Envelope Punch Board (see video) at 1″ on each side instead of 1 1/2″.
- Simple stripes make a graphic statement. All three of these patterns in Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo stripes are from It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack, one of My Favorite Things from the Occasions Catalog.
- I popped up the sentiments (Greetings Thinlits Dies) on tiny bits of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Each end is tied neat & tidy with twine from the Baker’s Twine Combo Pack. The combo pack includes both Mint Macaron/Black as well as Melon Mambo/Black.
- For a little pizzazz, I added coordinating It’s My Party Enamel Dots, one of My Favorite Things from the Occasions Catalog.

So very clever! Thanks for the tutorial! 🙂
Cindy
Love hearing from you, Miss Cindy. Thanks!
How cute! Just the perfect little surprise for my grand kiddos! Also, I so appreciate you sharing another tip for using the Envelope Punch Board.
Thank you, Renee. Tomorrow’s Sunday Picks is loaded with talent!
Hello Mary,
Thank you so much for sharing your video tutorial on the cute little poppers.
Enjoyed it so much.
How fun and like you said so easy to remember the measurements! Plus, your clever idea of adding the tape before punching makes it even easier. Thank you, Mary! I am looking forward to seeing all the beautiful cards that you will share tomorrow from so many talented and creative Pals.
Fabulous! Thank you for the video ( all the videos, really) – it really helps!
What kind of surprise did you put inside the poppers?
They are empty . . . but lots of possibilities!
What did you fill them with????
Thanks for sharing, the poppers are a great idea. Living in Australia, Hershey kisses (one of my favourites to buy at the airport duty free & to eat 🙂 ) are hard to come by but I’ll find something to put into the poppers. Great little gift idea!
Thanks, I love watching your videos!
Mary, love this cute poppers, and you are right, they are a breeze to make, I think you can easily fit 3 Hersheys kisses in there or maybe even those bite size bars.
Love this video tutorial, thank you for sharing.
What fun! The measurements are so easy – love hearing your voice.
Thanks, BK. But you hear my voice almost every day 🙂
I think it was great and I want to make some. What did you use it for? I know that sounds dumb.
Candy kisses or jelly beans should work. The open area measures approx. 3″ x 1″ x 1″. Hoping that helps with brainstorming!
Just wondering, do they fit a certain type of candy or what? They are really cute! Thanks for such an easy to follow tutorial.
Very cute. Thank you or the video. I am a show and tell person. If I see it made I can do it. And I did. Great, great, great. I put them in a clear container so when friends come over they can just take one. Thanks again.
A welcome gift waiting at your door. Very thoughtful, Rita!
Those are the cutest ever!!! Putting the envelope punch board on my future wish list order!!!!
That is really cool, but what do you do with them? Do you put something inside?
Yes . . . a few candy kisses, a small gift . . . lots of possibilities. So cute for place settings, bridal/wedding showers, birthdays!
Your Poppers turned out ‘OH SO CUTE’ and the video just hits this one out of the park. LOVE how you added the Tape onto the entire little panel BEFORE punching the last row…….BRILLIANT!
Thanks again for the lesson, Kadie, as well as the measurements for the 6 x 4! I love how perfect the adhesive works out if cropped with the Envelope Punch Board at the same time as the designer series paper.
Thank you, Lori! I think they are adorbs!
How fantastic is that? Thank you so much for sharing this clever idea!
