One of the questions I often get asked is about getting better coverage with solid image stamps, especially photopolymer stamps. Stampin’ Up! photopolymer (or clear) stamps are my stamp set of choice because they stick well on clear blocks and their “see through” nature allows for easy and precise placement. Photopolymer line images stamp very crisply. However, solid images can be a bit more of a challenge to get good ink coverage. This is easy enough to remedy with a few simple tips!
Today’s WOW! video shares my tips on how to get good ink coverage with solid image photopolymer stamps. It also gives you a closer look at the new A Nice Cuppa stamp set and coordinating Cups & Kettles Framelits Dies. Both will be available on Jan. 5, when the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog begins.
You can see this card using the stamp set and dies on yesterday’s post.

That’s music to my ears, Rene!
I just shared your video with my 15 year old girl. Her quote “very simple but really pretty” and she loved your rings:) Happy Saturday Mary. Enjoy your weekend 🙂
How wonderful that she liked it. I’m still trying to convince my 21 year old daughter to indulge in paper, stamps and ink. Some day!
Thanks, Mary! Love your card and appreciate you sharing how you ink up your stamp. Very helpful! Your cards and ideas are outstanding! Have a great weekend. Sandy Danziger
Thanks, Sandy. You have a great weekend as well. I’m having some of my team friends over for social/stamping time today. Can’t wait!
Mary, great tips on how to get a good solid image with this Photopolymer stamps, like you said, the pad needs to be juicy but not soaked and it’s always better to tap the ink pad onto the stamp and not the other way around.
Lovely card in beautiful Wisteria Wonder.
Thanks for your kind feedback, Maria!
Great tips. I miss seeing your tutorials on a more regular basis. One Minute to WOW rocks!
Thanks, Trish. I’ll do my best to share more!
