  2. I definitely need to start working on Christmas cards far earlier in the year. I would also like to come up with a system to record the sets I own – which is going to be a mammoth job, but so worth it in the end!

  3. My plans – not calling it resolution – Lol – is to organize my craft room – and get a good start on my cards and projects for craft fairs that I get involved in each year. And also – send more cards to family and friends – just to say “Hi” cards, to help me use my supplies.

  4. I spent our two week Christmas break thinking that I would crank out cards. However, once I got into the “groove” I decided to reorganize. Started with just my paper. which lead to embossing folders. Well, as you can imagine, I didn’t get any cards made, but everything has a home now. I’m ready to make some cards! I would love to win this set and add to my collection!

  5. Well, I’m not one to make resolutions anymore, as I never make it through the first month of the new year, but I have made some changes that I am looking forward to. I have changed around my basement to not only have my crafting room, but also created a Diva Den for some of my friends to get together once a month to do crafting together. Our first weekend is coming up – really looking forward to it and getting projects started AND COMPLETED! I am also working to get my stuff better organized and when I come across duplicates of stamp sets or die cuts to give them to my friends who enjoy them as much as I do. I also look for a technique that someone else is using that I like and try to add that to my bag of tricks. I wish you and all crafters out there a happy, joyous, and crafty new year!

  8. I have already cleaned up my stamping room so my plan for the new year is to send more cards to my family and friends on all their birthdays and more than just Christmas ! And with all the things I cleaned out of my closet two weeks ago– I plan on having a large rummage sale the beginning of the summer to sell it all then give the rest to a senior center to have arts and crafts.

  9. My resolution is to organize my craft closet by removing the items I don’t use and by putting things away in their place when I am done with them. I spend too much time looking for things because my craft closet is too cluttered and things weren’t put where they belong. I am looking forward to creating many beautiful cards in 2016!

  183. My 2016 RESOLUTION for crafting is to make birthday cards for every family member. With 10 siblings all married and most with a house full of kids or married nieces and nephews this is a HUGE challenge. Also, I plan on only buying from Stampin Up catalogs instead of all the others; because they all offer about the same designs it’s just that storing so many different companies together just looks messy to me. And since it’s easy order on line and easier to keep up with what I’ve ordered, I’m hoping not to duplicate items as I have done (way to many times in 2014, 2015), in the past. I don’t mind giving them to my sister, but I’d like to save that money to buy more accessories for us both. TY4S, Pat

I end up changing the card styles, organizing paper, and find myself ending up without the original three cards I intended to make. This may sound fine, but I end up taking a couple of hours for only a handful of cards (not very profitable, when breaking it down to an hourly wage). With a new baby, this also means that there are unfinished cards sitting on an uncleared table. I resolve to being “quicker” and letting go of the need to be a perfectionist (though that second one will never happen!) I’d settle for being a faster worker.

  244. My 2016 resolution is to get my paper crafts organized and in a orderly system so I can find what I need quickly. Punches here, dies there, stamps everywhere, when I start a project, it sometimes takes me longer to find all the tools I need then it does to do the project. This has got to STOP. “Organized” and “simplified” are the 2016 buzzwords for my craft room. Thank you for the opportunity to win such great blog candy. Happy New Year!

I try to keep up in the dining room what I use the most so I need to reorganize so that what I use most is at my fingertips. Also, I plan on inviting more people to my house to show them how to make cards. I have to say, this is soooo uplifting for people! They think they can’t do it, but when they see they can & how beautiful they are, they are so proud of themselves! I use this hobby to brighten people’s lives — it’s fun for both me & them!

  250. My resolution is:
    1. Clean up my craft room. It looks like Santa’s elves had too much merry in there!
    2. Put a specific time/date on my calendar for making cards. I am an empty nester so you would think I have all sorts of time, but it does get away from me.
    3. Create 5 simple cards per week for our church bc they LOVE sending them to shut-ins and as thank yous. Last year they went through 30 cards in 2 weeks! I told them I may not be able to do 15 per week, but 5 seemed doable.
    4. Although I am a committed hobbyist, I love teaching. I want to contact the 4 active living retirement homes in our area to see if they would allow me to teach a class every other month. I can only take 6 people per class as I have found that is the max that works for me. I usually offer 4 cards for $10 and that includes envelope and plastic liner. My goal is for them to pay me a set amount from their activity budget versus per person. I have broken out all my costs including time and travel, etc so we will see. If you never ask, you never know!

  264. Wow, Mary, thank you for the chance at your awesome blog candy. My papercrafting resolution for 2016 is the same as it was for 2015 – distill what I have (and buy) so I use what I have, not hoard it or just store it. I’m very organized, it’s the quantity that I have to reduce. In 2015 I gifted my daughters-in-law and granddaughters with some of my less loved (but not less creative) supplies so they could start their own papercrafting happiness. And when I purchased something new (because after all, there are always new stamps or dies that give you a happy dance), I ‘retired’ something old (and sometimes two or three somethings LOL). Happy New Year to you and yours.

  305. Re-organize? Ummm, I need to be able to at least be able to get into the craft room to start with and then find whatever I need in the certain piles. I do have most of my punches in drawers but there are a couple punches I can’t find. Did I loan them out or are they in a tote bag where I took a project somewhere to work on? Mike bought me a plastic drawer system that should take all my ink pads and be in one place but I have to clear a space for it! Stamp sets are still in numerous areas but I am working on it.

I did get all my handmade holiday cards out with notes in them. Now, I plan on making a few winter themed cards and some thanks yous to send out. So, I had better get busy. Of course seeing more inspiration from the blogs is a big downfall. I received the cutest card made with the set you are offering in your blog candy, so if I happen to be the lucky winner, I will have to make a card or cards with that set!
