Pals So Thankful Blog Hop!

Pals Blog Hop Badge

Welcome to the Pals November Blog Hop, we’re so thankful you stopped by.  This month we’re showcasing projects that feature Stampin’ Up! Thanksgiving and “Thank You” products.  We hope you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or you may have come from the previous blog on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you can enjoy each and every beautiful project.

StampinUp Thank You Card Hello You Thinlits Dies By Mary Fish Pinterest

My thank you card for today’s blog hop has a modern vibe, combining a blend of Watermelon Wonder, Very Vanilla and Basic Black.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • More 3-D!  I layered the “thanks” sentiment, Watermelon Wonder over Basic Black to add depth.

  • A string of rhinestones adds bling and reinforces “so much.”

  • I used patterns for both the thank you card and envelope liner from Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack, one of My Favorite Things from the Annual Catalog.
  • My Stampin’ Pretty Color Mix to save or pin to Pinterest.

  1. I love how you off set the sentiment with black. Looks marvy…why didn’t I think of that? Thanks for sharing!

  2. Funny that you would mention “cake,” Susan. As I created this card, I thought it would be pretty to “layer” a cake with a pattern of long skinny rectangles and strings of rhinestones!

  3. Hello my wonderful leader! SUPER FUN card! The sentiment is wowzers and the bit of bling ~ the icing on the cake!

  4. Love the “Hello You” Thinlet Dies. They are my ‘go to’ dies for adding punch to a card. I will have to try using the double to give some depth. Love this card.

    • Dianne . . . I was experimenting with different ways to layer the die cut sentiment. Moving them just a “smidge” to the right of each other is just right. I think you should have fun with different colors below but like lighter colors layered over darker to get the shadowing effect of 3-D!

  5. Beautiful layering, Mary! I love the “so much” block – so bold but doesn’t steal the limelight from your bright and cheery “thanks.”
