Stampin Up Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies Christmas Card Idea by Mary Fish PinterestI have a Mojo Monday Tall & Skinny Sketch Challenge (MOJO421) for you today and used the Stampin’ Up! STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • For improved cropping of detailed dies like the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies, I use the Precision Base Plate.  Wax paper between the die and cardstock helps the bits slip out even easier (usually a with shake or little nudge with my Paper Piercing Tool).

  • If you would like to know more about the Precision Base Plate, I recommend you watch these helpful Stampin’ Up! videos:
  • I used a few bits of Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the layers of the ornament a 3-D effect.  Here’s a photo (below) of the layered ornament before the sentiment so you can really appreciate the details!

  • The sentiment (Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set) was heat embossed in gold, a pretty complement to the Gold Cording Trim and gold foil topper for the ornament.

  • The Banner Triple Punch made quick work of the flagged end.  It’s always ready to go for punched 1″, 1.5″ and 2″ strips.

  1. Hi. I was looking to buy the stamp and thinlit bundle but don’t see it on your website. Is it still available? Thanks.

  2. Such a great card and I love the Very Vanilla ornament. I’ve noticed MOJO uses “Tall & Skinny” once in awhile. May I ask what size you are using for your card?

P.S. – Love your cards all the time. Clean and simple … my type of card.

  5. Mary, this is a beautiful card. I love all the elements. I think this is the first card I’ve seen using a Very Vanilla ornament backed by the same color. With the red candy striped banner, it really makes a statement with the gold thread and ornament top. TFS
