Making a CASE for Cottage Greetings

stampin up cottage greetings thank you cards mary fish

I love the font of this sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Cottage Greetings.  It’s such a nifty little set for many occasions and offers sentiments for both inside and out.

Today’s card is a CASE (Copy And Share with Everyone) of one I have coveted for quite some time designed by Maile Belles (love her simple style).  I made a few tweaks of my own!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • A single Watermelon Wonder heart is the perfect punch.

  • My card highlights the pattern “makeovers” of the Designer Series Paper Stacks (by color collection) offered in the 2015 Annual Catalog.  Each one is classic and “card-friendly.”  I used the 2014-2016 In Color Stack (Lost Lagoon).

  • The designer series paper collections are part of My Favorite Things from the annual catalog.  See easy-to-view samples of all the designer series paper from the annual catalog here.

  • An envelope liner is cropped using the Envelope Liner Framelits Dies (a card making essential).  The largest of the three dies coordinates beautifully with my Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Medium Envelope.

    • The funny part is that I tried 3 or 4 other colors for the heart before settling on Watermelon Wonder. The card is for a thank you for one of my girlfriends and I thought the “Wonder” added a feminine spin without being too soft.
