Falling for Leaflets Framelits Dies

A simple trio of leaves surround this stamped bit of poetry by Emily Brontë.  Any Wuthering Heights fans among my paper crafting friends?  I remember being thoroughly absorbed reading Brontë’s Wuthering Heights as a sophomore in high school–definitely a big part of what inspired me to be an English major in college!  Love having this stamp to play with!

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge

A few of my leaves blew off course.  However, the foundation of my design was this week’s Mojo Monday Tall & Skinny Sketch Challenge (MOJO413).

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • My tall & skinny card base measures 6″ x 3 1/2″.

  • The modern leaves were quick and easy to produce using Lighthearted Leaves stamp set (available Sept. 1) and a coordinating die from Leaflets Framelits Dies.  Perfect for fall projects and beyond.

  2. I absolutely love this card, Mary. The Old Olive backdrop is just gorgeous for this beautifully framed sentiment. The falling leaves are a wonderful accent.

  3. This card just SCREAMS fall on State Street. LOVE what you did with the Old Olive panel….The Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder just steps up that panel a full notch.

  4. Beautiful quote from a wonderful book, Mary. Autumn is my favorite time of the year, I love everything about it, from it’s gorgeous colors to the crispness of the air, it’s like Mother Nature wants to gift us with one last season of beauty and color before Winter envelopes everything in it’s cold grip.
Your card is lovely, your design is, as always, so clean and perfect.
    Thank you for sharing.

    • Thanks so much for the sweet feedback, Maria! The poetry is not from the novel. It’s just another moment from Emily Bronte. I brought up the book because that is what I think of in relation to her. M
